Gifts You Cannot Give

Every year the time comes by
When you ask me what I would like
And I reply that I am fine
There's nothing missing in my life
But you must know that it's a lie
Because what I want, what I desire
Is something you can't provide
What I want would only make you cry
So let's pretend that all is right
And return to our fragile ties
And pamper them until all is fine
