Bedroom Eyes

  Mystic gypsy of the east
With your pink and black and elegant mystique
And enchanting eyes that require no applique
Your arms entangled in bangles of gold and teak
allure with slender finger pulled in repeat
You laugh and cast more than glance, more than treat to me
Hide behind air of challenge as you turn yards to feet
Mouth curled on one side, hidden behind cloth with occasional peek
Your kohled eyes beckon me as you take your seat
on the caravan at the vanguard that carries you away as steam
A look back in teary wink completes my fantasy
as you ride away leaving nothing but a memory
    of your bedroom eyes
    - and no pink
