Don't Be a Good Friend

Don't be a good friend.
Don't try to make an everlasting association of mutual trust and respect.
Don't give this bond your all.
Don't plunge into the ocean of shared memories nor dismantle your sturdy walls.
Don't let them in.
Don't imagine rocking chairs in twilight dusk or reminisce back when; it will end in chagrin.
Don't give everything you have
Because when you pour your entire heart and soul, you will have nothing left for yourself.
Don't do it because friendship is worth more.
