Jade's POV:

I can't even believe how hard my dad is taking this. I sit with my mom while she holds my dad sleeping in her arms. My mom then goes to bed and I sit with my dad while he sleeps. I decide to go on my phone and pass some time. He wakes up after a few hours and he looks up at me. "Hey" I say softly. "Hey" he replies. "You feeling better?" I ask. "A little...you can go to sleep if you want...you don't have to stay with me" He says softly. "I'm worried about you dad" I say holding his hand. "I'm okay baby girl" He says softly. I nod and go into my room and lay on my bed. I sit and watch Netflix for a while. I hear a knock on my door and it opens to reveal my dad. "I love you baby girl" He says quietly. "I love you too dad" I reply. He then walks away and I see Nathan leaning against my door frame. "Hey" He says smiling. "Hey baby" I say softly. He runs and jumps on the bed beside me. "Hey" He says once more in a sing song voice. "You are such a dork Golbach. "I know" "I love you Jade" He says. "I love you more" I say kissing him.
