Do you hate me?

*Ashton's p.o.v*

"Do you hate me?" Luke asked, still with tears in his eyes

"No, why would I?" I replied in surprise

"Because I'm crushing on your twin sister!" Luke cried

"Relax, Luke, it's okay. You any help who you fall for - remember when I had a massive crush on Maddie Grey a year and a half ago?" I reassured him

"Oh yeah, she was pretty bitchy!" Luke laughed slightly

"Exactly!" I replied. "So... Why are you crying?"

"It's gonna sound really really pathetic, but... It's just because Alyssa would never go out with me!" Luke said

"And why not?" I asked, thinking about the conversation I had heard between Phoebe and Alyssa earlier. "You're funny and sweet and good looking, though, of course you don't live up to my high standards!" I joked

"You wish!" Luke laughed, though he still looked sad

"But seriously, I mean those things! And...." I said

"And what?" Luke asked

"Okay, I know that I shouldn't of done it and it was wrong but trust me, you'll thank me for this... Alyssa likes you too!" I replied

"How do you know?" Luke asked, excitedly

"Because I heard her and Phoebe talking this morning about it," I sighed. Luke smiled

"And you know what, Luke?"

"What?"

"I think you should go for it with Alyssa!"

"Really?" Luke asked in surprise

"Yeah," I said, smiling at him. "You're my best friend and I want you two to be happy!"

"Thank you, Ash. That means everything to me!" Luke replied, seriously a lot happier now

"There's just one thing..." I said, seriously

"What?" Luke asked and I could tell that he was worried.

"...how are we going to break this to Calum? It's the end of cake as we know it!"

Luke just fell about laughing.

*Calum's p.o.v*

I knew for a fact that Luke hadn't really got a text from his mum - he was trying to avoid that conversation because the answer to Ashton's question was, of course, Alyssa. Luke looked pretty upset over something and I would've gone after him myself if Ashton hadn't. Alyssa and Phoebe were still in deep conversation and Mikey was playing some sort if game on his phone. I leaned over and poked him gently.

"What?" Mikey asked, annoyed because I made him lose his game

"What do you think's up with Luke?" I said

"Nothing, why?" Michael replied

"There has to be something wrong, I don't think Ash forgot to ask him something at all; he could've just texted him!" I said

"Yeah... That's true!" Michael replied in surprise. "And did you notice that he avoided that question Ashton asked him in Truth or Dare? The one about who he liked?"

"Yeah, and I know who it is!" I said

"Who?!" Michael asked, suddenly very excited. I looked pointedly over at Alyssa who was still chatting away to Phoebe. Michael however got the wrong idea.

"LUKE LIKES PHOEBE?!" Mikey whisper-yelled.

"No, you idiot!" I whispered back, punching him on the arm

"What was that for?!" He whispered, rubbing his arm

"It's not Phoebe, stupid, it's Alyssa!" I whispered back

"Ohhhh!" Michael whispered. "Those two would be cute together!"

"Exactly!" I replied. "It's just he's worried because she's Ash's twin sister!"

"Yeah, that's understandable I suppose," Michael said, thoughtfully.

"We need to convince Ash to let them get together!" I said

"Definitely!" Michael replied and we both thought hard....

*Ashton's p.o.v*

"Are you okay?" I asked Luke

"Yeah," Luke smiled. "Do you really think I should go for it with Alyssa?"

"Definitely, though if she's anything like me, she'll only say yes if there's some sort of big gesture!" I chuckled

"Yeah, you're probably right!" Luke replied

"I'd be happy to help if you want, and I'm sure Cal and Mikey would be too!" I said

"Thanks, Ash, for everything," Luke said, smiling at me

"No problem," I grinned back

"I should get probably get going, it's getting late," Luke said, checking the time on his phone.

"Liz will be wondering where you are," I laughed

"Except that I didn't really get a text from her," Luke said, awkwardly

"How come you said you did then?" I asked, confused

"I didn't want to say I liked Alyssa, because she was there anyway and I didn't want you to know!" Luke explained

"Why didn't you want me to know?" I asked

"Because Alyssa's your twin sister and I didn't think that you would want us to date. I thought that you might flip out or something," Luke replied

"Y'know, if I didn't know how much you liked her, I might of done..." I said, thoughtfully.

"Thanks again, Ash, I'll see you later," Luke replied and headed off one way and I started off back home.

*Luke's p.o.v*

I couldn't believe how cool Ashton was being about me crushing on Alyssa - he even offered to help me plan something big for when I ask her out! An idea was already forming in my head... It was going to be difficult, slightly expensive and many calculations to get it all right, but it would defiantly be worth it if she said yes. I thought hard... Today was Sunday, so I worked out how long it would take to set it all up. I finally decided; I was going to ask her out next week...
