She's Rich, He's Richer : Chapter 8

~A matter of love and hate...

"Ate! Gumising ka na, maligo at magbihis ng maganda. May naghahanap sa'yo! Bilisan mo!" 

Christine, she's my younger sister. She's two years younger. Hindi pa pala niya alam na nilalagawan na ako ulit ni Mico. Late kasing umuwi noong hinarana ako ng future brother-in-law niya dahil din sa research paper kuno niya. Tapos eto pa pansin ko rin na she's acting weird noong mga nakaraang araw. Nagwoworry ako at baka may problema siya. Napapansin din ni mommy yun at hula namin, love problem. Ayaw niya raw munang ishare kaya pinabayaan ko na muna.

There's right time for everything ika nga.

Pero bakit ngayon nambubulabog siya? Alam na niya kaya? Nandyan kaya si Mico?

Sa kabilang banda, mas usual lang pakinggan ang pangalan niya pero gaya ng pangalan ko, combined names din ng parents namin yang Christine. CHRIS from Christian ni Daddy at INE galing sa Katherine ni mommy. Yung akin naman ay KA ng Katherine at NE ng Dwane.

I wonder kapag kami na kaya ang nagkaanak ni Mico, ano kaya ang pangalan?

Hmmm tama! MiKa. MI from Mico at KA from Kane. Haha. I'm so brilliant.

"Ate ano ba!"

"Oo na. Saglit. Maliligo na." 

Naligo ako, nagbihis at nagpabango. Muka na naman akong presentable tingnan. Bumaba ako pero to my dismay hindi si Mico ang inabutan ko. 

"Magsalita ka naman. Andrei ano ba 'tong pakulong ito."

Currently, nakablindfold ako. May isang Andrei na nagsundo sa akin sa bahay at binlindfold nalang ako bigla bago kami bumaba ng sasakyan niya. By the way, his Mico's bestfriend eversince who knows when.

"Just wait. I never thought you're this impatient. You'll love this."

"Okay." so I shut my mouth.

Finally, we stopped.

Andrei removed the blindfold slowly. I got blinded by the light at first but I got over it seconds later.

I scanned the whole place. It's a high class restau. but the thing is there's only one table and it is exactly at the middle of this place.

Everything inside was all red. The carpet, the chandeliers, the walls, the table, even the chairs were covered with red cloth and if there is something that is not red, the color would be white.

I am really amazed by what I saw. Everything was beautifully arranged.

I looked at the left side and there's people playing different instruments pero iisang kanta lang ang tinutugtog ng mga ito. I don't know what it is that they are playing but it sounds good to my ears.

As I looked at the right side of the place there are people standing there pero nakatalikod sila sa akin. Pero nakikilala ko ang tatlo sa mga nakatalikod, Cass, Karen, my younger sister Christine and the Andrei guy. The rest, hindi ko na kilala. Mga eight silang nakatilokod, apat dun ang hindi ko kilala. 

Now, my eyes were locked at the man elegantly walking towards me while grinning.

"Did you like it?"

"No."

Nawala ang mga ngiti niya, but then I smiled.

"I don't like it because I loved it!" bumalik naman ang mga ngiti niya. 

He pulled one chair and let me sit. WOW! Aso lang. Haha. 

"So... ano nanamang pakulo ito Mico?" I curiously asked.

But he just looked up. Kaya tumingala na rin ako.

Nasurpresa ako nang biglang bumukas ang mga maliliit na ilaw na hindi ko inakalang meron pala. Yung mga ilaw nakaform sila at ang mababasa mo dun ay ang mga salitang I love you. Napangiti ako. 

He looked at the left side which happened to be at my right side sincemagkaharap kami.

Unti-unting nagharapan ang mga taong nandun  at hawak nila ang isang malaking tarpaulin na nakalagay ay 'Will you be my Girlfriend'.

Sunod naman ay biglang may lumapit na waiter sa amin at naglapag ng cake na nakashape na 'KANE'

"Combine them together." kalmado at nakangiti niyang sabi.

I looked up, then looked at the rigt side then looked at the cake. Combining them all it says, I love you! Will you be my girlfriend, Kane.

He's a man full of surprises. He's sweet and almost near to perfection. Sabihin niyo nga kung sinong babae ang makakahindi sa lalakeng kaharap ko ngayon. 

Ibang klase. Kung ang ibang babae nililigawan sa text. Ako eto pinaghandaan at pinaggastusan. Napakaswerte ko talaga kay Mico. Kaya bakit ko pa papakawalan? 

"Ano na?" 

I stood up and walk towards him and kissed him. 

"I guess that's a yes." tapos ngumiti siya nang nakakaloko.

Uminit ang mukha ko at pakiramdam ko ay nagblush din ako. Tsaka ko lang kasi narealize ang ginawa ko. Tsaka ko lang rin narealize na marami palang tao. Shet. Nakakahiya. 

Napansin ko pang nakathumbs up at nakangiting nakakaloko sila. Mas lalo tuloy akong nahihiya.

"Nothing to be ashamed Kane. I'm Mico afterall, every girls' dream. You're so d*mn lucky to have me." he arrogantly stated.
