Matt's POV
It was good to be home.
I'd already gone to see mom and dad and now I was driving to Ana's house.
I had beer as promised and was looking forward to catching up with her.
I was hoping Josh would be there because I wanted to catch up with him too.
I hoped Jake was not there.
Jake was Ana's boyfriend and truth be told I couldn't stand him and the feeling was mutual.
When Ana and him had started going out he tried to make Ana choose between him and me.
Thank god she chose me and he'd dealt with it.
Unfortunately he didn't break up with her as promised.
Holy crap, I thought, that was almost two year's ago.
I couldn't believe she'd been going out with that dick for that long.
I pulled into her driveway and got out.
The front door flew open and Ana came hurtling down the stairs and threw herself into my arm's.
"Arghhh I've missed you so much," she screamed "You were gone for too long this time."
I hugged her back.
"Well you could've come over with Lilah. " I said
She put her hand's on her hips "You know I had work."
More like Jake wouldn't let her.
I knew, but I pretended I didn't.
"Is Josh home?" I asked as we walked inside.
"He's working away, but he'll be home for the wedding."
Ana's sister was getting married this weekend, another reason we'd finished up the tour.
We sat on the couch and talked and caught up.
I didn't ask about Jake.
I didn't care.
