Red Carpet

You’re an actress and he attends a red carpet event with you. 

Luke: 

Even though he knows that this is your night, that you’re nominated for best female actress, he feels as though he still needs to protect you. You both have been to your fair share of award shows, and recently most of them have been together. Each time however, his arm around your waist keeps you tight to his side, afraid to let go. It never bothered you though because you knew that he wanted nothing more than to keep you from harm, even though in this case it was the overbearing paparazzi and interviews. Watching you answer each interview question about your role with such grace reminded him just how strong you are and brought to mind one of the many reasons that he loves you so.

Calum:

Sometimes your nerves got the best of you before an award show, and Calum knew that tonight was one of those nights. Even before you made it to the limo he was rubbing the back of your hand and giving your neck a gentle massage on the ride there to reassure you that everything would be fine and that the night was going to go wonderfully. He didn’t have to say anything at all, and sometimes you didn’t want him to because words weren’t always enough. His gentle, reassuring, loving touches let you know that he wanted to reassure you but knew you didn’t want the words. By the time you were ready to exit and head onto the red carpet you were feeling more confident thanks to him and couldn’t help but give him a loving kiss to let him know how grateful you were for him being there.

Michael: 

He knew that tonight was your night, so everything leading up to the award show was entirely about you. He made sure you got to all of your pre-show appointments on time (even though he had to wake up earlier than he would like, but after all he did it all for you). Standing next to you on the red carpet, he couldn’t help but continue to stare at you and smile happily because he was so incredibly proud of how far you had come in such a short time as an actress. As you retold stories of how you got started in acting to the interviewer, he couldn’t help but reminisce over the times you were talking about and had to choke back the pride he felt because he knew he had been there since the beginning. When asked who your biggest supporter had been, his grin only got brighter as you smiled up at him happily and replied, “him”.

Ashton: 

Knowing that the night is all about you, he tends to take a step back and try not to talk about his band and his music. Instead all he can do is rave about your newest movie and what a great actress you are. He tries his best to let you do all the talking, but being the natural born leader that he is, sometimes it is hard for him to completely stop talking. Whenever he realizes that perhaps he is talking a bit too much and definitely more than you, he manages to direct the question back toward you. You know he isn’t this way to steal attention from you but more than anything is raving because he is so incredibly proud of you and everything you have accomplished as an actress.
