{'I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.'}

Gripping my wheel hard, I drove faster like a madwoman. Hitting the road as if I was in a race, I couldn't help but feel hurt about this morning when Quinn left me without saying goodbye. There were hundreds of questions floating in my mind right now. Was she angry about what happened last night or she feels disappointed because she realized I'm not good in bed? But that was nonsense. We did it a couple of times until we fell asleep together so I wondered why she left me alone in our beach house this morning.

Last night was so seamless for me and flashes of memories came abruptly into my mind as I caressed the angel wings pendant she gave me. The way she touched me was the gentlest feeling I've ever felt. The way she kissed me was so passionate and my heart never ended to burn in intensity. I was in a far-reaching pleasure that I almost died in unbroken enchantment.

However, waking up without her in my arms felt so lonely and I couldn't make out anything why she let me in that state knowing she would leave today, away from my embrace and far from my kisses. I was perplexed so here I was, driving fast to their house, seeking answers.

Finally, I pulled my car and sprinted out seeing her sister, Khloe, leaning on the door as she looked at me. Her expression was a blur so I walked in her direction, frowning.

"Where's Quinn?" I asked and she just shrugged.

"She already left."

"What? She left without saying goodbye to me?"

Khloe sighed and crossed her arms, scowling. "You're not alone, Miss Popular. She left without saying anything to everybody."

"Wh-What? Why?!"

"I don't know!!" Khloe retorted, spreading her arms in fury. "I really don't know, okay? That douche Elric guy came into the house this early morning to get her things and that's it. She was nowhere."

"I'll go to the airport," I said and turned around but Khloe stopped me by pulling my arms. "What?! I'm going to the airport."

"Let her be, Arisa," she grimaced, saying my name for the first time. "I think she doesn't want you to be there."

I narrowed my eyes, throwing her hand away. "And what makes you think she doesn't want me there?"

Khloe looked at her hand and then raised her face up to stare at me with a serious expression. "She hates leaving. She probably left without saying anything because it was too hard for her or maybe she meant that this is not goodbye yet. Look, let her be and just wait for her call."

As I parted my lips to give her a response, my phone suddenly rang and I immediately answered it, knowing well who it was, "Hello, Quinn?"

"Hey, gorgeous," she said, laughing a little and it sounded like it was force and fake.

"Where are you? I'll be there," I said, starting to walk out to get in my car.

"No, please. I'm fine. I just don't want to say goodbye because it's too hard for me. I'm calling because I just want to say that I'll call you once I get there, okay?"

"Are you sure you don't want me to go there?" I insisted, twisting around to see Khloe grimacing in her own place.

"I'll be okay. I'm with Uncle Elric. And by the way, last night was perfect."
