Chapter Twenty-Two

Emilia's POV:

I was sitting in the planning rooms. My father was talking about the plan of revenging the Parker family. But I couldn't pay attention. I was thinking about Bruno. His touch, The lust in his eyes, His body against mine... The way we had sex. But it was different. I never felt this way before. It wasn't just sex... We made love.

"Emilia!" my dad snapped me out of my thoughts. "Are you listening?!" He asked. "Yes, yes." I said. "Good." He said. "Now, we'll need to get to the Parker's ready. But we need to surprise them. We can't show up like this." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. He sighed. "As much as I hate saying that..." He started saying.

"I will need Mars' help in that plan." He said.

Bruno's POV:

I woke up to loud knocking on the front door. I looked at the clock. 9:27. Who can possibly look for me at this hour?! I got up from the bed and grabbed the first shirt and pair of pants that I found, not caring how 'used' they were.

I went down the stairs, the knocking never stopped. It just went harder. "Hold up!" I yelled from the stairs. I ran to the door and opened it.

Standing in front of me was Emilio Frank, followed by two of his men. The man who ruined my life. Well, not completely. He's still in charge of the creation of the beautiful Emilia. And that's when I started worrying. What is he doing? Did he found out about me and Emilia?

He let himself in, not even asking for a permission. His men followed him in, and then reviled the figure of a beautiful, sexy woman. The body I got to study not a long time ago. Her cheeks turned a bright pink. 'How cute.' I thought to myself. She got inside, behind her was Lana. I gave her a smile and she returned it and followed inside as well.

"So what's up with the family reunion in my house?" I asked. "This is serious, Mars." He said. "What is it?" I asked. He looked at me. "We..." he started. He couldn't find the words, or he just didn't want to say them. "Need your help." Lana said. "We need your help." She repeated. "I can't give you a bigger amount of money, I won't be left any for a living!" I said. "This is not about the money, Mars. We don't need a bigger amount." He said. "We need you." Lana said. "Need me?" I asked. "What for?" I asked.

"Revenge." Emilia whispered, loud enough for everyone to hear.
