Chanii's POV
Today it made 5 years my boyfriend Cody Rhodes and I had been together. Tonight we had to be at raw, so it wasn't much celebrating tonight which was fine, I loved him anyway.
But it didn't stop me from looking presentable. I had on a burgundy dress, my hair and makeup done with my favorite pair of nude heels. I watched his match from backstage, loving how great he was at this. All these years and he still amazes me with his talent in the ring. Once he won the match he caught his breath before grabbing a mic.
"Even though this match was important, there's something else more important. Today, is the lovely divas champ and I's 5th year together. So I wanna bring her out here. Chantell please come out." He said. I rose an eyebrow and slowly walked out as my theme played. I tapped a few hands and climbed into the ring, hugging Cody. He gave me a quick peck and stood back, admiring my outfit. I was so nervous this time, I never was but it felt so different.
"Hi honey." I waved to him.
"Hi beautiful. I know I say this all the time, which is fine but there is no one else id rather be with. I can't imagine life without you. You've stayed with me through eveything and never judged me for my flaws, and I thank you for that. You've kept my head screwed on right and made sure I was fine before yourself. Who knew I would end up with the most brilliant, talented, funny and smartest woman in the world? My girl, Five years and I still get tounge tied and fidgety with my hands. I've never felt this way, about love until I met you. Plus, I know you're the one if my dad accepts you. You're my girl, and I plan on spending the rest of my life with you. Happy anniversary." He pointed to the tirantron as people cheered. I wiped my tears and looked, my back turned away from him.
After the adorable video he put together, the roster came out front. I looked at them so confused until the crowd yelled for me to turn around.
I turned around and covered my mouth once I saw Cody on one knee, with a diamond ring in his hand.
"Oh my god!" I screamed and cried harder.
"Make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?" He asked handing me the mic. I was still stuck sobbing in that moment. Daniel Bryan and the crowed began chanting Yes.
"Yes!" I finally screamed into the mic. He smiled and put the ring on my shaking finger, picked me up and hugged me tight. I hugged him back and kissed him longer than I should've on live tv.
"I love you, Cody It's beautiful." I whispered in his ear.
"I love you too." He said kissing me again, holding me tighter. After sighing autographs we went backstage, and I showed off my ring to my friends.
"Congrats Chanii!" My best friend Kaitlyn yelled.
"Thank you Kaitlyn. Maybe you and Dolph will be married one day." I winked, giving him a hug. After a few more minutes of interviews and congrats, Cody and I left back to the hotel. There I had a big night ahead of us, and I damn sure was going to celebrate my anniversary and engagement with my man, our way. I knew I couldn't wait to be his wife, but right now I couldn't wait for him to be between my legs.
