chapter fifty one: animo papilio
The next morning, you wake up to a commotion in the room. You quickly sit up and wipe the drool from your mouth. Somehow, you slept like a baby last night.
When you stand up, you see a large group gathered near the door. One person in particular stands out to you- slightly messed up brown hair is something you immediately recognize.
You slowly approach the group and see Osamu part through the crowd. You stop walking and look at him quietly. He was the one who kicked you out of your own camp, after all, and now here he is on your side again.
"Y/N," he says softly as he takes another step closer to you. Part of you wants to run away and hide, but you're hoping he won't pull out a gun and shoot you like he wanted to the last time you saw him.
"I'm sorry, Osamu. I didn't mean for Atsumu to-"
"No, I'm sorry, Y/N. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like I did. I was such an ass to you, and I really feel like a piece of shit for it. I should've never kicked you out- especially from your own home. I hope someday you can forgive me for that."
"Alright," you nod, unsure of what else to say. Half of you wishes to forgive him right then and there, but you don't have enough strength to get it out. "Thanks, Osamu. I'm glad you're here."
As Osamu nods, you notice that same brown hair floating toward you. From between Kageyama and Oikawa, another man approaches you. Your heart nearly stops when your eyes finally meet his.
"Hey, Y/N," he smiles softly. "God, it's really good seeing you. How have you been?"
"I'm here, I guess," you chuckle. "How're you?"
"Good," he nods as he takes a step closer to you and whispers to you. "Is it weird that I'm here?"
"No," you laugh as you throw your arms around him. "I'm really happy you're here. I didn't think I'd ever see you again."
"Then in that case do you think we could talk? Just the two of us?" he asks as he looks around.
"Let's go for a walk."
After you make it through the rest of the group, you and Suna step outside together. You begin to walk down the road quietly side by side until you turn a corner.
"Are you okay?" he then asks as he stops walking and turns to face you. "I mean, really, are you alright?"
"Of course I am, Suna. You know me," you grin nervously that he'll see right through you.
"So then what's all this talk about you wanting to kill Bokuto? I mean, I know what he did, but do you seriously want to take the fucking kill shot? What happened to your whole 'I want to save everybody no matter what' philosophy from med school?" he presses. "And stop calling me Suna like I wasn't your boyfriend for two years."
