After a long and needed bath, the doorbell rang.

I quickly put my robe on and slowly dragged my feet over to the door.

A quick peek through the peephole left me anxious.

It was Donghyun.

When he said "we'll talk later", I didn't really think much of it.

For a split second, my hand hesitated as I reached for the door knob.

But I quickly opened the door.

Donghyun smiled, "Hey" he said as he reached and planted a soft kiss on my cheek before stepping inside.

I took his jacket for him, and hung it on the coat hanger while he stepped out of view.

Deep down, I felt odd.

Slowly, we managed to trail into the kitchen without saying a word.

I didn't want to say anything, and he seemed like he had a lot to say but no way to do it.

We sat on opposite ends of my kitchen island.

Waiting for the other to say something.

Occasionally catching each other's glance.

Silence engulfed the room.

Although there was no tension, being in complete silence stinged.

"Have you always felt like this?"-

-Donghyun's soft voice broke the silence.

"I mean, towards him. Have you always felt like this... towards him?" Donghyun asked again.

Like being thrown onto a stage, I couldn't do anything but finally be vulnerable under the spotlight.

I slowly began to nod, "Yeah- I'm pretty sure."

There.

I finally said it aloud.

I have feelings for Choi Yeonjun.

I felt great admitting it, until I realized who I had just told.

Donghyun suddenly covered his eyes, and sighed.

"I'm just so confused- just a week ago you two wouldn't even look at each other or walk in the same hallway, what... changed that?" Donghyun's voice slightly trembled.

How do I even begin to explain Minho's deal, Yeonjun's grandma, her debt, and everything in between?

"It's a really long story" I began, "I promise... I didn't go looking for something outside of-"

"-outside of us? Hana do you even care about us?" Donghyun's words rapidly spilled out.

"Of course I do !" I didn't hesitate to say.

Donghyun paused for a bit.

"I... I missed out on a couple dates, I may have even stood you up once, or left you hanging, what did I do wrong?" Donghyun sounded overwhelmed.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing." I tried reassuring him, "I know you're busy, you did nothing wrong".

My words seemed to lift a huge weight off Donghyun's shoulders.

"I thought it was going so well" Donghyun sighed.

"What are you trying to say..." I whispered.
