Our stay in Toge's house was brief but so memorable. It happened a week ago.

It is already 5:00 in the morning, but I am still lying in my bed trying to figure out if I'll attend the training or stay in my room. It is 'that' time of the month again. Just the thought of moving around is annoying me.

When the clock hits 5:45, I decided to take a bath and prepare for the day. Everyone was already on the training grounds when I arrived.

"Good morning."

I greeted without looking at anyone and went to the other side to practice my archery skills. I don't want to lash out my annoyance to everyone because it is wrong, so I decided to try avoiding them in the meantime.

I was about to shot my first arrow when Toge showed up in front of me.

"What?" I said with a grumpy tone because my menstrual cramps are already starting.

"You didn't greet me," he said.

"I did! Not now, please."

Instead of going away, he stood there while putting his hand on his waist. I sighed then snapped my fingers, making the compressed gravity arrow disappear. I turned my back to him and started walking away.

"Don't move," he commanded using his cursed speech technique.

"Really? You're using that to me now?" I said, starting to get angry.

Since I can't move, he went in front of me again.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asked.

I just stared at him for a while before answering him.

"I'm not in the mood, okay? Now, release your technique."

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked while his technique is still effective

"No! I said I'm not in the mood! Just leave me alone!" I said, a little bit louder, catching the attention of everyone.

He was taken aback because of my attitude. A pang of guilt hit me.

"Look, I'm sorry. Let's talk later, okay?" I said.

As soon as I finished talking, he released his technique allowing me to move freely again.

After that, Toge didn't speak to me the entire time. Maybe he got upset by how I treated him.

*fast forward*

After eating my lunch, I went to talk with Maki-senpai, who's sitting beside Nobara.

"Senpai, can I skip training this afternoon?" I asked politely.

My cramps are getting worst every minute that passes by. I just want to go back to my bed and sleep.

"Is it the time of the month?"

I nodded at her.

"Oh, that's why. You should have told me earlier. Okay, go get some rest."

"Thank you," I said, bowing down a little before going back to my room.

It was already 8:30 in the evening when I woke up. My cramps subsided already.  My eyes roamed around my room and stopped when I saw a plate of food and some medicine on my side table.

I stood up to check it. There was a sticky note, so I grabbed it and read.

'I heard from Maki what happened. I'm sorry for annoying you today, love. I didn't try to wake you up because you might not feel okay yet. Here's your dinner and some meds for cramps. I love you. - Toge'

After reading the note, guilt crept in me. I was too hard on him today. He was just worried about me. I'm such an idiot for lashing out at him. I texted him before eating.

Y/N: Hi, are you still awake?

I waited for his reply. I already finished eating the food and was done taking a shower but got no response from him. It's still early, so I thought he's still up.

Maybe he was upset because of my attitude?  Before I start overthinking again, I decided to go to his room.

I knocked a few times, but he is not answering. I tried twisting the doorknob, and luckily, it opened.

I immediately saw him sitting on his bed while looking at his door. So, he didn't answer and texted me back on purpose? I stood in front of him.

"Love, I'm sorry for how I acted a while ago," I said, feeling a little bit shy.

"Are you okay now?" He asked while holding my hand.

"Yes, my abdomen still hurts a little. Are you still mad at me?"

Instead of answering, he pulled me, making me sit on his lap.

"No, baby. I wanted to give you space because I might annoy you," he said while placing his face on the space between my neck and shoulder.

"God, I miss you so much."

"What? It's just a day!" I said, trying to lift his head to face me.

"You didn't kiss me today," he said while pouting a little.

I gave him a peck on his lips.

"Not enough," he whined.

I gave him another one, and another, and another.

"Can I sleep here?" I asked him.

"You don't have to ask. You can always sleep here," he said, carrying me and putting me on his bed.

"I'll prepare a hot compress for your cramps, okay?" He said while going inside his bathroom.

After a while, he went out and put a heating pad on my belly.

"I love you," I said.

Toge covered me with his blanket while laying down beside me. He hugged me sideways before closing his eyes.

"I love you too. Take a rest, Y/N."

In an instant, I felt my eyes getting heavier.
