So like we just hit 30k. I mean, I never would have guessed that this would happen. This whole thing is crazy and is about to get crazier, so be warned. I hate the way that some things happened in the OG series and now my book is just canon for me. Fuck the way that Finn and Kol died. Fuck the way that Davina acts. YEAH, DAVINA WAS A BITCH IN THE OG SERIES. THE BRATTIEST TEEN I'VE EVER SEEN! Anyways, enjoy this.

The world did not look any different from that of the real one. The bright trees and the annoyingly neon grass that paved the lawns of the road were just as bright and just as clean cut as they were before I jumped into this mess.

One major difference of this world was that it held someone who didn't have magic, who was stuck as a human. The heretics would at least have their vampirism with them, this kid had nothing. Zip. Nada.

"He has to be somewhere," Damon lets out a sigh as he waves around the ascendant in the air, "We're getting you out of here, Kai! Come out of hiding, small siphoner!"

I slap his arm. "I thought that I was a small siphoner!"

"Darling, you are the smallest and best small siphoner. I'm just trying to lure him out so we can get him home as soon as possible. Stefan will go nuts if we don't come home," Damon tries to explain. I pout and take the magical object from him, causing him to let out a groan.

"We need to look around, Damon, he may not even be able to hear us right now," I remind my mate, who just rolls his eyes and takes a few steps forward.

"This place doesn't really scream prison world, does it?"

"It screams prison world with a side of Gemini bullshit, Damon."

"It was the bullshit that threw me off, angel."

"Of course, Damon, of course."

Normally, the place in which a person was staying in a prison world would be obvious. Then again, normally prison worlds looked more like prison than a small paradise. The place still screamed immortal hellhole with the eerily perfect weather and empty space. Nobody was here. No sign of people or life at all.

The only place that I could think of going was the shopping mall. If I was stuck in a prison world, I would go to the shopping mall and the supermarket. What other places could I spend my time? Then again, this kid has been here for over 20 years or something like that. 1994 to 2012, that's almost 20 years. Imagine being stuck while being alive! I was stuck, but at least I was dead. Being daggered meant that there was just pure nothingness. Then again, I might not have minded being daggered and then sent to this place. It looks nice enough.

In the marketplace I could see what things had been taken. Even if the place looked almost fully stocked, I could smell the small scent of blood on one of the doors to the male bathrooms. Somebody stubbed their toe or hurt their hand. Oops.

"Look, Parker, if you're in here, just come out! I'm here to break you out of this world!" I called out in the building. With my hearing, I could hear a small amount of shuffling right outside of the supermarket. Jackpot.

"Just come out so that we can get back home. My mate needs to get back to her second mate before he goes crazy and strangles you when we get you out," Damon sighs, not wanting to see Stefan when he gets angry. It was a sight to behold. He knew that he couldn't come with and had almost thrown a hissy fit about it, only being calmed by the promise that I wouldn't leave the house for a week after I came back.

"I am not letting Stefan harm one of my own, Damon," I scolded my much taller mate who was messing with one of the cereal boxes on the shelves.

"My mate is a damn siphoner, Parker, she isn't going to destroy you! She's on your fucking side!" Damon tries to get the man to come out of hiding. He was clearly listening in based on his movements. I would have just used my hearing to find him but it could spook him. I doubt that he had anyone to talk to during his time alone.
