MANIK's ROOM
Manik unbuttoned his white shirt all dirty by now, he threw it on the bed and went towards his closet to choose another shirt.
Suddenly he felt someone's hand on his back, he turn to the person and frowned, "Meera you?".
"Oh, I am so sorry Manik.. I was coming to the bathroom and didn't see you on my way.. my hands accidentally touched you.. " , she said acting panicked.
"It's okay.. ", he said, "You can use the bathroom of the guest room, not exactly this one. I don't like others to use my and Nandini's personal space! ".
She nodded, " Soon, this is going to be my and yours only Manik.. you just wait and watch, how I'm going to make you mine and throw nandini out of our way, the haldi on your back just marks the start! " , she thought smirking.
Meera was gazing at him shirtless, and Manik felt uncomfortable with her stare, he looked away.
"You can leave now Meera.. ", he said.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did to you in past Manik, I thought you loved me but didn't realize it, so that's why I behaved like that.. but can we be friends again? ", she asked smiling.
"After what your father did to my life, I never had people called friends in my life.. ", he said intensely.
Meera looked at him sadly, " I understand what you mean to say.. but Nandini became your friend na?
How did you she got married to you? Is it arranged marriage? ".
"Nahin, Devi Mayiyan made us one! ", Manik said, smiling faintly thinking about their marriage where nandini sang, " Rab ne bana de Jodi ".
Meera gritted her teeth, she wasn't liking Manik's answers at all.
"MANIK.. ", NANDINI came in the room, she stood still after seeing her husband with Meera. She noticed Manik was shirtless, and there was haldi on his back.
"Kya hua? " , she asked coming near to them.
"I wanted to use the bathroom.. ", Meera said smirking, she noticed Nandini's eyes on Manik's back. She was sure nandini doubted on him.
" Then use the guest room's bathroom.. this is a married couple room and you should respect someone's privacy Meera.. ", Nandini said with a serious look.
Meera nodded, and went from there fuming in anger.
Nandini took her duppata and wiped the haldi from Manik's back.
"She accidentally touched me.. ", Manik explained before nandini would come to a conclusion by herself.
"I know.. ", Nandini replied smiling faintly, "I know that you didn't do anything, but I don't trust her Manik..".
Manik turned to her, " You think like that because she loves me.. ".
" No, it's not like that.. I really didn't like her.. ", Nandini said pouting, Manik pulled her by her waist making her gasp.
" Just bear her till Ansh's wedding, after that you will not see her.. ", Manik said, tucking Nandini's hair behind her ear.
NANDINI nodded her head, Manik smirked, " You know that you still didn't give me what I want.. ".
" What do you want?? ", she asked raising her eyebrows.
"Acha.. you don't know what I want..!!? ", he asked tickling her.
" Acha woh .. I asked you to wait.. At the right time, I will give you what you want..", she said giggling.
"I will just come back okay, I want to change my clothes.. ", Manik said, as he picked his clothes and head to the bathroom to change.
NANDINI was about to leave, when she felt his hands on her waist, Manik rubbed his cheek against hers from behind transferring the haldi to her cheeks.
" You just needed my touch to look Perfect! " , he said and went to the bathroom, leaving her blushing. She was really habituated with her Monster who always fought with her, but now he's more loving! They didn't fight since they confessed their love to each other, but somewhere she missed their cute fights!

NANDINI came downstairs; she went to the kitchen to help Divyanka in serving lunch for the family and relatives.
Divyanka smiled staring at her, " nandini that.. ", she pointed to Nandini's cheek, " There's haldi on your cheek, who applied it?".
Nandini blushed, she looked down and the ladies giggled at her reaction.
"Tu bhi na divyanka.. who would apply haldi on her if not Manik bitwa? If some other men even touch nandini bitiya, Manik beta is going to explode in anger and jealously.. ", Mami said.
Everyone burst out laughing, while Nandini just turned red.
"Oh my God nandini, your cheeks are turning orange color.. ", said Cabir widening his eyes.
NANDINI touched her cheeks lightly confused, "Why Cabir?".
"Because your cheeks are red and haldi is yellow, so mixing both it turns out to be Orange na! ", Cabir chuckled.
NANDINI ran to him and beat his shoulders with her tiny hands, " Even you're making fun of me..".
"Papa painted Mumma's facey.. ", Anvi giggled and CABIR got a way to escape, " See even Anvi is making fun of you.. will you beat her too? ".
"No, I will not beat my Princess because she's innocent.. you only making fun of your bhabhi.. ", nandini crossed her arms, acting like she's angry.
Cabir hugged Nandini from behind, he held his ear with one hand, " Sorry meri pyari bhabhi.. I will not make fun of you.. ".
Nandini slapped his hand that was holding his ear till now, "Chup.. did I ever asked you to say sorry to me?.. I will be angry with you if you start treating me like stranger by saying sorry like this.. we are family and there's no need to say sorry.. I was also kidding with you! ".
Cabir smiled sheepishly, " Acha okay.. I won't say sorry anymore..".
"Better! " , Nandini said smiling, "But you need to buy me one chocolate ice cream..".
"Done.. I will buy ten for you Nandini bhabhi!!!!! ", Cabir said smiling.
" Haaww and for us? ", Divyanka asked pouting.
"You all don't deserve it na, only my Gudiya deserves ice cream and she will share with her Nani.. ", said Nani.
"Nani you're so smart! ", said Vivek shaking his head in disbelief.
Nani giggled covering her mouth with her palms for being caught. Divyanka and Nandini went to serve food for everyone at the garden side, where they set the tables and everything for the guests.
Meera smirked, as they left the kitchen and she overheard their conversation.
"So Manik won't like if another man comes close to you Nandini.. l'm so excited to see this happening! ", she thought playing with her phone.

MANAN's ROOM
Nandini sat on the edge of the poolside, staring at the dark night sky. She was lost in her thoughts, when Manik came and sat beside her.
"What's cooking in your Chipmunk's brain? " , he asked.
"Nothing! I don't have Chipmunk brain okay.. ", she said smiling.
"Are you upset over something? ", he asked again.
"Nahin.. " she nodded sideways.
"Lie .. nandini I know that whenever you're upset about something, you always come to the poolside and stay alone for sometime.. " , he said, "I've noticed this before.. ".
"I was thinking about Payal's behavior with me.. I don't think she likes me.. ", Nandini said, surprised that Manik noticed this side of her, which no one did till yet.
"It's just jealously.. ", Manik replied shrugging, nandini looked at him confused, "Jealous about me?
What do she have to be jealous about me? ".
"Despite having everything, she wants Ansh and his family attention on her, but you already made a place in everyone's heart here for you, everyone loves you here and she just reached now, she's struggling to make a place for herself here.. so she looks at you like a competition.. Understood? " , he asked.
Nandini gulped, she started feeling guilty for no fault of hers. MANIK understood it by her changed look, he made her rest her head on his shoulder, " You're not at fault Nandini.. it's just her wrong way of thinking because she's blinded with jealously and anger towards you that she failed to see that our family loves and accepted her also, it's obvious she won't take your place here, because you worked hard and also your loving personality helped to get the love and trust of this family, she also has to walk through the same path, but no.. she's already seeing competition where it does not even exist.. but then all women are so complicated, they create a scene and react for everything, always fighting for petty things.. ".
" Haaww! It's not true.." ,she said frowning, " I don't do that.. not all women are same okay..".
"I'm not talking about you. You're my baby wife only, innocent as a baby.. ", he said caressing her cheek with his thumb. NANDINI smiled, " Will you help me in choosing my dress for tomorrow?".
Manik made a face, Nandini pulled him with her inside the room, she took the dresses to the bed and asked him to choose.
"Tell me.. which one is beautiful? Should I wear this one.. or this? Hmm.. this one Di bought for me.. ", she asked him.
"Nandini wear any of these, you will look beautiful with all.. I'm sure.. now I'm sleepy, take all this mess back! ", he said as he sat on the bed, shoving her dresses that occupied all the bed space.
"Monster you're refusing to help me.. I will not talk with you! " , she said taking the dresses back, and came back to sleep facing her back to him..
Manik smile and nod his head in disbelief.. Laying beside her, he pulled her in his arms Who neither shrugged him off or said anything just lay their with cute puffy angry face..
kissing her cheek from back He whispered, " mere dil ke dhadakano kee vo jaroorat see hai,
