One month later
Ashley started looking sickly in the face just weeks after we made our return to the WWE. She would always leave the bedside and start vomiting in the toilet. Worried, I made my way to the bathroom one night after she stormed off into the bathroom. I pulled her hair back and started giving her gentle back massages.
"Are you alright, baby?" I asked.
"Not really." She shook her head, "I don't know if it's something I ate, but I've been feeling sick for the past few days. Actually, a couple of weeks. Yet, I have to get better in order to compete inside of the ring."
"I'm not sure babe." I said with concern. "You might have food poisoning."
"It could be most likely food poisoning, probably that steak we ate over at that steakhouse. It could've been badly done and they served our meat a little raw."
"Perhaps. But I'll call Shane and let him give you a couple of weeks off until you feel better."
I called Shane.
"Hey, Shane."
"What's up, Roman?"
"I know you're a busy man and all since we took down the authority, but I'm calling on behalf of Ashley. I believe has food poisoning, and I was wondering if she could take a week or two off to recover before she steps foot in the ring again?"
"Of course. I'll extend her and Sasha's feud until then for a week. If she's not feeling any better, I may have to call off the feud."
"Alright, thank you. I appreciate it."
After hanging up with Shane, Ashley was still sitting on the floor and feeling defeated as she struggled to hold down any food within the past few days.
I sat down and gently hugged her from behind, and softly planting a kiss on her cheek.
"Shane said that he's going to allow you to have a week off to recover."
"That's good to hear."

I've been getting sick a lot within the past few days. I honestly believed it was that steak that I ate at the steakhouse, and it was possibly food poisoning.
Roman and Dean insisted on hanging out at the gym and getting some workouts in while I relaxed in the hotel room and watched some Supernatural. After awhile of being bored, I called up Eva.
"Eva?"
"Hey Ashley! How are you feeling?"
"Eh, not so well."
"Why's that? Are you feeling upset?"
"No, I just keep throwing up lately and I assume it's food poisoning."
"Um, Ashley..." Eva paused.
"What's up?"
"Remember how you and Roman had that honeymoon awhile ago after the wedding?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Did you and Roman in particular have sex without any protection?" Eva asked.
Anxious, I replied. "Yeah, we did."
"I don't know if this will be either good news, or bad news, but you might be pregnant."
It took me a moment to realize and I started to panic.
"Pregnant?" I sighed, "I can't be pregnant! I'm currently feuding with Sasha and this feud means a lot to me, I
"Calm down!" Eva interrupted, "I'll come over and we can buy yourself a pregnancy test."
"Okay, I'll see you in five?"
"Definitely."
Eva quickly arrived to my hotel room and she took me to the pharmacy to purchase a few pregnancy tests. When we arrived back, I went to the bathroom while Eva was laying on the couch and watching some television in the meantime. While I was inside of the bathroom, what disgusted me the most was having to pee on the stick. But I had to do just that and it was disgusting. I waited for the results to come in and I was as anxious as ever.
Leaving the bathroom, I sat down next to Eva and started to tremble in terror.
"What if it comes out as positive in a few minutes and Roman doesn't want a child?"
"Nonsense, sis. Roman loves you; and believe it or not, during your coma, he said he wanted to someday have children with you."
"Really? He said that when I was out during my coma?"
She smiled, "'Mhm."
After a few minutes, the results were in...
"Oh my goodness! You're going to be a mother!" Eva said in shock, then reeled me into a hug.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I was pregnant and I was still anxious to tell Roman once he returned home. I knew he wanted kids a long time ago, but how would he feel about this so suddenly? A few hours had passed and Eva decided on leaving me to myself until Roman returned. The moment I heard the door being opened, I became anxious to seeing him and Dean at the door.
"Hey babe." He said.
"Hey." I said, nonchalantly.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Roman, we need to talk."
"Oh boy, this doesn't sound good." Ambrose said.
"Ambrose, excuse us for a moment."
"Um, Dean. I need to be alone with Roman for this one."
"Oh, alright. I'll see you both later?"
"Yeah, we'll hang out tomorrow." I said.
Dean left the room and I was finally alone with Roman. We both sat down on the couch, and I didn't know how to tell him this huge life-changing news.
How should I tell him?
Anxious, I looked into his eyes as they met with mine. I began to tremble.
"Babe, talk to me."
I remained silent.
"Babe, did I do something wrong?" He asked.
"No, but I do have some news that I need to tell you."
"What's up?"
"Well, take a look at this."
I handed him my pregnancy test and it came out positive. He looked down at it and his face began to light up. He started to smile as he realized that I was pregnant and looked at me with widened eyes.
"Wait, I'm going to be a father?"
I nodded with a smile.
"I'm going to be a dad!" He said with emotion as his eyes began to water up from excitement, "I should've known because we didn't use protection and we were more focused in the moment. I'm so excited to be a father!"
"I'm excited too! How are we gonna tell Dean, Shane, and the others?"
"We'll find a way." He paused, "But you do know what that this means, right?"
"What?" I said in confusion.
"I really hate telling you this baby, but that means you have to relinquish your title since you can no longer compete for it."
"Oh, I forgot all about that." I sighed.
"It's alright, Ashley. We can schedule an announcement next week if you'd like to tell the entire WWE Universe that you're pregnant."
"I'd love to do that."
"Great." He sat up. "We'll have to inform Shane in the morning, alright?"
"That's fine."
While I remained somewhat silent, Roman started to grow concerned.
"Is everything alright, baby?"
"Yeah."
"I know when you're lying to me, baby. What's going on?"
"Well, I've been looking forward to this feud with Sasha, and as much as I'm excited for us becoming parents, I'm nervous about everything."
Roman kneeled down and gently pressed his hand against my stomach whilst keeping his gaze into my eyes, "Ashley. I understand this is a lot to take in. I know you're excited about becoming a mother, but just because you're pregnant doesn't mean your career's over. You'll just have to take care of our child for awhile and when you're healed after giving birth and if we could have my parents babysit our child, maybe we can talk with Shane into getting that feud back. What do you think?"
I smiled, "I'd love that, Roman."
"However baby. I'm getting tired after working out at the gym, and we still need to talk with Shane first thing in the morning about your announcement. I'm sure he'll understand."
"I'm sure he will, too."
The next day approached and we were getting ready to meet up with Shane at his office that I need to announce my pregnancy. Nobody knew so far except for Roman and Eva and it was going to stay that way until I'm able to announce the news to the entire world.
