EPISODE - 81 Nandini ; Manik's Weakness!
Manik was untying Nandini quickly and sweating, he applied too much strength to release himself from the rope tied to him, luckily he managed to break a glass and with the help of it, he released himself and now helping his wife.
"We must find a way to leave from here before anyone notices us..", he said, helping Nandini to stand.
Nandini nodded her head.
"But how? Shashi's guards must be outside and surrounding the place..", Nandini said.
"Let me think! ", he said.
"Let's do one thing, we will cover our faces when we go down, and we have to be fast while running,
because it will not take to them to realize that it's us.." , Nandini said, taking her duppata on her hand
and thinking how she would cover them to make sure they don't recognize them.
"It's not possible Nandini.. our clothes will easily reveal who we are..", he said.
Nandini's face fell, " Haan.. you're right! Then what will we do now?".
"You didn't tell Aman the address?", Manik asked raising his eyebrow. Nandini nodded sideways, "Shashi messaged me, and I came here running.. I didn't even had time to inform, but they know that I came here..".
"Dammit...", Manik punched the chair beside him angrily.
Nandini gulped scared of his reaction, she rushed to him and hugged him, burying her face on his chest, she whispered, "I am so sorry.. this is all happening because of me!".
Manik calmed down, he hugged her back patting her back, "You should have informed someone Jaan, but don't worry.. I will find another way to escape from here..".
"Sorry to say but you won't find any other way Mr. Malhotra! ", Shashi said smirking, he was standing right behind them.
Manik and Nandini looked at each other shocked, then both stare at him.
"I knew it.. Your JAAN is here, so you would definitely not stay quiet..", Shashi laughed, "Manik, I've seen this world and I've more experience than you.. believe me, I'm always two step ahead of you!".
Manik glared at him. Shashi's men forcefully pulled Manan apart.
"Let's not waste time, and go directly to the point.. I've no interest in keeping you both here, all I want is my property..", Shashi said, as he walked towards Nandini with a smirk playing on his lips.
Manik was already feeling something wrong here, and his doubt turn out to be true when Shashi pointed a gun to Nandini's head.
Nandini screamed in fear, and his heart stopped beating for a while. No, he can't lose her!
"Leave her Shashi.. your enmity is with me, why are you dragging Nandini in between this?", he shouted.
"That's why Manik.. the basic rule of a game is you always have to know the weakness of your enemy, and SHE is your WEAKNESS right? Now I've to use her to get what I want..", Shashi said smiling.
"I will never give you my property.. I will make sure you suffer for all this!", Manik angrily shouted.
"Acha? Nandini see how your husband is, money means everything to him and he's even ready to let you die.. today he showed to you that he doesn't love you.. ", Shashi said.
"You don't need to tell me about my husband's love for me, I know him more than you!", Nandini said.
"Oh, so you're ready to die for him?", Shashi smiled, pointing the gun to her eyes. Nandini smiled faintly, "If it's what Devi Mayiyan wish, then I'm ready.. And if My Life will secure My family then I'll go happily to My Devi Mayiyan.. ".
"Nandini shut up..", Manik glared at her, for speaking about death. She knows he hates when she talks about death, and here his heart is beating faster like never before. The scene where his sister died in front of him, flashed on his mind. Is that scene going to repeat with Nandini? No, he can't lose Nandini like he lost his sister. If he lose Nandini, he will also die.
"Manik.. she doesn't mind to die for you, so I can kill her na?", Shashi asked, he pointed the gun to Nandini's head and pulled her by her arm. Nandini shut her eyes Silently sobbing.
"Are you sure you won't sign the property papers? You will let your Jaan meet Devi Mayiyan so soon? Is this how strong your love is? You're going to let her lose her life, just for property papers.. wah, how much you changed Manik.. earlier you sacrificed for your sister by accepting to marry Meera, and today you can't even sign a paper and save your wife's life!", Shashi asked.
"Manik don't listen to him, don't sign the property papers.. You just can't let your Hardwork of years go ruined.. please.... " , Nandini said.
Shashi pretended to pull the trigger, Nandini shut her eyes tightly and Manik clenched his fist.
"STOP IT..", he shouted, "Don't harm her Shashi.. I will give you what you want, just leave my wife right now!", he said.
Shashi had a bigger smile hearing this, he turned to look at Manik who was still in state of shock, in fear for a moment he could lose Nandini just like Sharanya, he would shout for her to come back and she wouldn't.
"Are you sure? " , Shashi asked still with the gun on Nandini.
"Haan.. put the gun down.. don't harm her!", he said in low voice, all he wanted was Nandini's safety now.
Shashi signaled his men to hand the property papers to Manik. Nandini's eyes moistened, "Manik.. Please.. Please.... don't sign them.. ".
She cried helplessly, while he didn't listen to her. He signed the paper emotionlessly, and hand it over to the man again.
Shashi rushed to check and laughed in victory seeing Manik's name on it. "Finally.. finally I got my power back!", he shouted on top of his voice, and couldn't stop laughing.
Manik just stood without any emotion on his face, he was completely numb. Nandini walked to him, she cupped his face, but he didn't look into her eyes, in a broken voice she whispered, "Manik..".
Shashi left from there meanwhile, as he got what he want, he just wanted to celebrate this moment that he himself couldn't believe he got rich again, not just his company back but also MMD on his name. It's just like a dream come true for him.
Manik shoved Nandini's hand, and looked away. He walked aimlessly towards the door, and Nandini looked at him crying, she felt so bad right now. She knows what he is feeling; he didn't want to let her die but didn't want to lose from Shashi Either.
