You walked through the green, dark forest, sunlight filtering through the branches, the sound of crackling branches on the hard ground can be heard when you were walking to Matt's cabin as a normal guest.
His cabin was located deep in the forest. The sky began to get dark, bespeaking it's going to rain any minute. You walked a little faster as the grey clouds blocked the sun, making the forest almost as dark as night. It began to drizzle and you decided to run.
You accidentally tripped on a root of a tree and lost your balance, falling on the ground, face-first. You groaned, frustated as you saw your white shirt now stained with brown, mushy dirt mixed with the rain what you called mud.
You heard something behind you and your turned around to see something rustling between the bushes. 'Please be a rabbit, please be a rabbit,' you thought, staring at the bushes. Sadly for you, a big scary-looking wild creature came out of the bushes, glaring daggers at you.
"Oh my glob, a bear...you're a bear..." you laughed nervously. "I'm just gonna back away...and then...yeah," without having second thoughts, you ran away from it, screaming. You looked behind as you ran as fast as you could, the bear chasing you.
You saw Matt's cabin a few metres away and yelled his name. Just as he opened the door, the bear attacked you, pinning you to the ground.
"A BEAR'S GOING TO EAT MY ARSE! PLEASE DON'T EAT MY BUTT. EAT ALLEN'S BUTT INSTEAD, MINE IS NOT TASTY AT ALL I SWEAR!" you closed your eyes, yelling incoherent words.
"____....that's just Kumajirou," Matt said, making you now speechless. You stared at the bear- you didn't even notice it was a polar bear- , it was tilting his head, confused. Matt pulled Kumajirou away from you, and you sat on the ground, still heavily breathing.
"Are you alright? What's with your clothes?" he asked, staring at your mud-stained shirt.
"I tripped on a root and fell," you explained, scratching the back of your head, looking on the ground, feeling deeply embarassed. There was a visible tint of pink at your cheeks.
He sighed and held out his hand. You held it and got up, uttering a thank you and set foot in his cabin. You made a mental note never to stay near Kumajirou ever again. He gave you spare clothes and you changed in the bathroom, it fits you although it was kind of baggy.
"Thanks Matt, I'll hand your clothes back tomorrow," you said.
"You can keep it, they don't fit me anymore anyways," he said, his cheeks feeling rather hot. "Kuma's outside, so he won't bother you,"
"Y-Yeah, okay," you muttered, nodding. There was an awkward silence between you two. "Sooo, how's your day?"
"I saw a girl being chased by my pet polar bear just because he wants a hug but now she has arctophobia (or is it ursaphobia?), nothing much," he chuckled.
"It was dark outside, so I thought it was a scary-looking bear alright," you rolled your eyes, crossing your arms.
"Whatever. There are books on the shelves over there if you wanna read. I'll go find something to eat," he pointed to the bookshelves at the far end of the living room before walking to the kitchen. You head towards the bookshelves, searching for a book that suits you best. A certain book caught your eye. You took it and tried your best not to laugh.
"Hey, ___-...what book are you holding?"
"Uh, nothing," you hid the book behind you.
"Very funny, ___. What is it?"
"The...Notebook?" you suppressed your laughter. His expression was shock and he dashed after you. You ran away from him, letting out a laugh as he chased you. Your conclusion was, Matt has a hidden affection for romance stories and you found out. Too bad he caught the collar of your- I mean his shirt and pulled you, trying to snatch his book back.
You raised the book up high so he won't catch it, but unexpectedly lost your balance and fell on the floor with the Canadian, him on top of you. You felt yourself blushing just like Matt. ____ orbs met violet eyes. Suddenly, he leaned closer to you, and you surprising leaned back, your nose touching his.
He closed the distance by softly kissing you on the lips, and you gladly kissed him back. It was a passionate yet gentle kiss and you enjoyed it.
"Hey dude do you know your one hell of a polar bear almost ate me- oh my (insert bad word) what the hell, dude?! Why are you both swapping spits, that's gross literally!" Allen gagged as you both quickly pulled away. He glared at his American brother and chased him with his hockey stick, yelling curses at him, making you laughed lightly at the sight of them.
