apollo trembled a bit as he read the door name, ..."Wright and Co Law Offices"..., ..two months have passed since apollo lost his job and his mentor..., but, phoenix offered him a place at his own law office as soon it was available for opening, and now it was..
he got a text from phoenix, telling him everything, ..apollo breathed in and out, as he opened up the door, and headed inside the office, now or never..
his eyes widen as he looked around the place, ..he honestly wasn't expecting him to have such amazing taste in decor.., the office looked like an fantasy dark academia, it even had a few plants and vines hanging around the place, every-single wall was almost covered in a bookshelves, at first apollo thought they were all law books, but after a closer look, most of them were fantasy books, dark fantasy books, gore and horror, light-hearted fantasy, but the most was astronomy, constellations and stars, their was even a guitar and piano of the corner of the room, it was a really pretty office
"..whoa, ...this office is like an aesthetic dream come true..., okay justice, time to stop trembling-"
'Ah! You must be here for the interview. Right this way!'
apollo jumped a little bit at the voice, he looked around and saw a girl, who looked strangely familiar, she smiled as she greeted him polity
'Hello there! You've found the Wright place! Welcome!'
'Uh... Ah...'
apollo didn't really know what to say, ...he felt very awkward right now.., he cleared his throat as he asked in a polite tone, not trying to be rude but just very confused as to why this girl was in an office like this
'uh sorry if i sound rude but, what's going on here? Who are you? I came here to meet with the person in charge...'
'oh, sorry, Welcome to the Wright and Co Law Offices, where you've "always come to the Wright place!" I'm Trucy Wright, CEO, I'm a magician'
she introduced, apollo looked at her, not sure on how to react, but then, ..something clicked into his head, ...she was the same girl from the trial two months ago, and then another thing hit him, ..trucy, ...wright?!, ..she was!?--
'Trucy... Wright'
she nodded as she passed him her father's business card, ..which he already had, but took it anyway, too in shock to speak
'here, check out the business cards, So... what's your name?'
she asked, getting up and down on her toes, apollo cleared his throat again as he introduced himself
'Apollo... Apollo Justice, attorney at law, so, your dad opened up again'
she smiled and nodded
'You bet! Daddy started it up recently, to get into the flow when he temporality quit law, Of course, we only have two people signed up right now, Trucy Wright, Magician Extraordinaire! I've done a lot of stage shows! Paid, too! I am a professional, you know'
she winked, apollo grinned a little at her cheery personality, she was very different from her father, that was one thing for sure
'Promise you'll come to one of my shows, OK? Let's see... Oh, and the other person our agency represents is... Phoenix Wright, Defense Lawyer and Pianist Extra Ordinaire!'
'Your dad, in other words, Didn't he say he didn't like to play the piano in front of others though?'
trucy seemed a little flummoxed at that, ..didn't like preforming in front of others?!
'really?, he plays for me all the time though'
"i guess even mr wright has a soft spot...huh"
apollo thought to himself, he then decided to change the subject
'anyways, So you're Phoenix Wright's daughter?'
he had a hard time believing that, he's heard a lot rumours about phoenix being great with kids, and heard of him having a little sister, but they seemed way to opposite from each other, phoenix was very jaded, quite and scary, this girl seemed cheery, friendly and welcoming
'That's right!, during daddy's time off from law, he took me in since i was eight, he's been a really great father to me ever since'
apollo could hear the aberration in her tone of voice, she really loved her father
"whoa...i guess he really is great with kids"
'I'm kinda in charge of this whole office whenever he's not around too, though i'm not really allowed to make any big decisions without his permission, but still, Pretty amazing for a young lass of fifteen, wouldn't you agree!?'
she giggled, apollo thought that was kinda sweet and cool of her father to do, and very reasonable, he got curious and asked
'by the way, just out of curiosity, how old is Mr. Wright? anyways?'
'Daddy? Oh, he's 33 this year'
apollo nearly fell over at that, 33!!?!, he looked like he was only 20 years old!!, he didn't' look old at all!, trucy looked up at him a little confused by his surprised expression, but decided to not ask about it, then another thing hit him, the text he got
'That reminds me. About Mr. Wright... He gave me a text this morning to come in'
he remembered, that's when she frowned a little, but still kept up her optimism, knowing it wasn't too serious
'Daddy's not here right now. He's in the hospital'
his eyes widened
'The hospital!?'
he repeated, very surprised by this
'yeah, he's on bed rest, but don't worry, it's nothing serious'
she reassured, despite telling him it wasn't that serious, he still wanted to pay him a visit
'Wh... What!?, OK... Which hospital is Mr. Wright in? I'll pay him a visit'
'Oh, the Hickfield Clinic. It's quite close'
he nodded as he quickly remembered the name, repeating it in his head
'Right. Well, I'll be going now. And I'll, uh... give this showbiz gig some thought, OK?'
trucy then hurried by his side, wanting to check up on her father as well
'Wait! I'll go with you!!!'
she closed the office doors as she hurried off with apollo into his car, putting on her seatbelt, apollo put the keys in as he started up the car and started driving to the hickfield hospital
'hello, i'm here to see mr phoenix wright?'
apollo asked, the lady at the desk nodded as she pointed at the direction
'to your right down, room 114'
'thank you!'
he nodded as the two hurried off in that direction, as soon as they saw the room, the opened up the door and saw phoenix laying down on the hospital bed, trucy was the first to speak up
'daddy?!'
phoenix turned his head over to see his daughter and his employee, to apollo's great surprise, he saw him smile softy at trucy, he had to do a double-take on what he just witnessed
"is he, ...smiling?!!, no way!!, is this even the right Mr Wright?!, should have i been more clear when asking the receptionist!?"
he watched him as phoenix patting her head, trucy giggled sat next to him on the bed, smiling and all, despite how normal he seemed to be, ..apollo could tell he looked a little stressed and burnt out..
"I guess he doesn't want his daughter to worry about him.."
he then looked up at apollo, and returned to his normal expression
'morning, Didn't expect you so soon'
apollo blushed a tint red as he nodded, not sure on what else to say, ..mr wright was a very intimidating person to talk too, ...it also didn't help the fact he was really good-looking either..
'So... what happened?'
he asked, sitting on one of the guest chairs, phoenix looked over at trucy
'hey magic, mind stepping out for a bit?'
'oh.., sure thing daddy!, rest well'
she got up from the bed, and headed off, phoenix sighed as he explained without much detail
'...my therapist sent me here for a checkup'
'o-oh...'
apollo mumbled, not sure on what else to say to that, ..phoenix sat up, hanging his feet off the edge of the bed, facing towards apollo
'yeah..'
apollo decided to change the subject
'i have to admit, never expected you to be good with kids, let alone have one of your own, and....she's so big-er, not fat but you know'
he said, phoenix didn't take offence, knowing what apollo was trying to say and explained
'in a lot ways she's still a child, but she's also older now, i'm not one of those parents who treat their teenagers like toddlers, she can make her own decisions'
'huh, never thought of it like that'
'i don't spoil her, but she has a right to say no, understanding, supporting and listening to your own children is important, especially in their teens'
"whoa, Gotta admit, Mr Wright sounds like an amazing father..."
'in anycase, your here to ask about the office re-opening?'
he asked him, apollo straightened up as he nodded, phoenix gave him the news
'I've got the perfect client for you already lined up, they asked for me but i told them i had another person to handle it'
apollo eyes widen, ..not only did mr wright hand chose him for the job, but he get to have his client too, ..which means, he'll be doing his first ever investigation
'A... A client?'
apollo watched as he nodded at him
'you wanna hear what i have to say?'
apollo cleared his throat, wanting to sound professional and determined
'..yes'
phoenix gave him a little mini notepad, a map, and for some reason an article about a car accident, ..apparently some guy got hit and broke his ankle, and the car got away
'your client should be stopping by my office any time now, ...One more thing. Do look into this accident too, it's on the article, I marked the scene of the tragedy on this map, It's right in front of this park. Should be easy to find'
'..uh, okay?'
'..you got this, take in deep breathes and relax'
apollo nodded as did as told, and headed off, when trucy got back, the doctor came in shortly
'oh, i'm sorry but mr wright is needed for a checkup, everyone as to clear out'
the two nodded as they headed off, trucy waved her father a goodbye as he got back into apollo's car, driving off back to the office
