"Come on, chicky. Let's...ah....see what ya got." Keigo panted out heavily, his half lidded golden orbs burning into me.

"Don't take it easy on me. I like a little bit of pain." I smirked, feeling his toned, sweaty abdomen press against mine.

"Oh? Is that so? I'll remember you said that." He whispered into my ear huskily, before pinning my arms above my head.

I let out a heavy sigh, tilting my head to the side as I tried to figure out the position we were currently entangled in.

Keigo chuckled at my silence, already knowing what I was thinking.

"Still want me to go harder, little dove? I could go all day long." He stated overconfidently, giving me one of his cheesy grins.

After a few moments, I couldn't take anymore. I seriously needed release......

"Ugh, fine. I give........you win this sparring match, idiot." I grumbled out, rolling my eyes in defeat.

Keigo's serious look immediately washed away from his face at my words, leaving nothing left but a giddy chicken.

"Yay!" He cheered, releasing my hands from above my head.

I was about to get up, before I felt his hand on my waist.

"Actually hold on a sec, cutie. I kind of like this position." He smirked, giving my side a squeeze as he leaned down to try and kiss me.

Not feeling completely satisfied yet, I quickly pushed him off me, rolling to my feet.

He let out a small groan of frustration at my actions, before begrudgingly getting to his feet.

"One more training match." I challenged, quickly getting to my feet.

Clearly trying to mock me now, Keigo let out an over exaggerated yawn, before lazily stretching his arms.

"Hmm, nah. I'm getting a little tired of winning." He dismissed, smirking at me maliciously.

I felt my competitive side quickly coming out, as I shot him a glare.

Keigo and I have been sparring for the last hour, and he's kicked my ass every single time. Even if I immobilize him, he simply shoots his feathers at me, waits forty five seconds for my quirk to wear off, and then attacks. Even though he's on the shorter side, he's still bigger and stronger than me.

But this time...I was determined to beat his ass.

"Oh, really? Let's put some stipulations on this next match then!" I blurted out, slightly regretting my words immediately after I spoke them.

Keigo's eyes suddenly glinted with mischief at my statement, making me force myself not to pussy out now.

"Hm? What kind of stipulations are we talking here?" He smirked, clearly already thinking about what he'd like from all of this.

I pursed my lips, lost in thought as I decided something that wasn't too risky.

"Hmm, let's see-" I started saying, before the ringing sound of my phone brought us out of our thoughts.

I quickly walked off the training mat, checking the caller id. Keigo trailed behind me, to grab some water.

"Ah, hold on. It's my parents." I mumbled, swiping the screen.

"Tell Susy and Michael I said hi." He smiled, outstretching his wings across his body to loosen up.

"Hey, mom! Dad!" I exclaimed, putting the phone on speaker so I could do some stretching, too.

"Hi, sweetie! Your dad's out right now. How's it going? Got a moment to talk?" My mom asked, the sound of her voice making me miss home a little.

"Yeah. Hawks is here, too. He says hi." I smirked, watching Hawks' face light up when my mom got excited.

"Oh!!! Hawks! How are you, sunshine?" My mother said warmly, showing more enthusiasm for Hawks than her own daughter.

I didn't mind. I thought it was cute the way Keigo always wanted to talk to my family, and vice versa.

"I'm great, Mrs. P! How're things down there, on the countryside?" Keigo grinned, casually floating a feather onto my cheek.

"Oh, it's so nice out here. No people, lots of land and trees, some good food-hey! You know, I was actually calling Ari to ask if she could come visit soon. If you have the time, we'd love for you to join her, too. The Parker family would love to meet you in person!" My mother beamed, causing me to immediately step in.

"Hah! Uh-Hawks is a busy man. Much too busy to-"

"Gee, you really mean that?! Hey, I'd love to stop by! How does this Saturday work for you guys?" Keigo stated casually, completely ignoring my protests in the background.

"Keigo stop-"

"That sounds perfect! Oh, you know what? You can stay for the whole weekend, if you'd like! Pack an overnight bag." My mother suggested, her well known hospitality making me groan.

I face palmed as Keigo immediately accepted the offer, listening to him and my mother talk for a little while longer.

"Okay, Hawks! I'm so excited to see you this weekend! Oh-and Ari! You too, honey! I-I'm always excited to see you, too!" She quickly added on, causing Keigo to silently laugh from next to me.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah mom. I'll see you this weekend. Love you." I muttered, before ending the call.

Keigo looked at me....an amused, shit eating grin plastered all over his face.

I rolled my eyes, quickly yanking the water bottle out of his hands to take a sip.

"What?" I countered, watching his smile get even bigger at my annoyances.

"Why don't you want me to meet your parents?" He asked curiously, leaning against the wall.

I let out a small, nervous sigh...before turning my gaze back to him.

"I'm not opposed to you meeting my parents. They can just be a little....I don't know, overwhelming? Embarrassing?" I explained, cursing myself for sounding uneasy.

Especially since it was obvious that Keigo was seriously eating up this rare, flustered moment from me.

"I'm overwhelming, Ari. So, when you think about it, if I'm overwhelming and they're overwhelming, we basically cancel each other out. Enough about that though. I'm curious to know what kind of embarrassing stuff we're talkin' here?" He smirked, sauntering over to me.

I felt my cheeks heating up, as I quickly slapped my hands over them to hide the blush.

"Ugh! You know....like baby pictures, and they'll tell you more embarrassing stories about me-"

"Embarrassing stories-oh! You know...that reminds me, Little Booger-" Keigo started off, using the famous pet name that my mother calls me by.

I quickly hid my entire face in my hands now, before feeling Keigo's arms wrap around my body.

"Shut up." I groaned, as he pulled me against his chest.

He chuckled softly at my embarrassment, the vibrations of his laugh tickling my forehead that was against his chest.

"Hmm, I'll tell you what then. I've got a stipulation for ya." He uttered softly, resting his chin on top of my head.

I wrapped my arms around his waist, slightly nervous for whatever he was about to suggest.

"Oh yeah? What kind of stipulation, birdie?" I mumbled, closing my eyes in bliss as I felt his wings wrap around my body, too.

He sighed out in contentment as I trailed my hands up his back, lightly stroking the base of his wings.

"You beat me in a sparring match....and I won't come to your parents house with you this weekend. But, if I win....I wanna come." He suggested. While I couldn't see his face, the smile was present in his voice, and it was kind of adorable.

"Seriously? That's your stipulation?" I asked, laughing softly in amusement.

"Mhmm."

I shrugged, slowly releasing him from my embrace.

"Fine. Deal." I agreed, looking up at him.

"Good." He countered, gently flicking my forehead, as he walked back onto the training mat.

"Ow." I whined out softly, rubbing my forehead as I walked back onto the training mat.

Keigo stretched a little more, waiting for me to make the first move.

He was being unusually quiet right now, not retorting any of the usual cocky remarks he's been spewing during all of our other matches.

Hmm, what was he thinking?

"Okay, birdie. Let's do this then." I smirked, getting into my fight stance.

He simply stood there, crossing his arms in amusement.

"Ready when you are, hot stuff. Don't be shy. Come at me." He taunted, waiting for me to make the first move.

Not waiting a moment longer, I began running towards him...outstretching my hand to activate my quirk.

Keigo quickly shot out a giant mass of ruby red feathers into my face, preventing me from seeing.

I need to save my energy here. I always immobilize Keigo too early, allowing him to get the jump on me.

I spotted one of his feathers going for my shoulder, no doubt attempting to pin me down to the floor.

I quickly immobilized it, giving myself time to move out of the way, as I heard shuffling behind me.

Ducking, I watched as Keigo's kick went over my head, allowing me to get a foot sweep on him.

He quickly shot another feather into my face, before kicking me lightly in the stomach.

I fell backwards, rolling out of the way as the feather tried to restrain me.

Deciding to charge straight at him, Keigo simply ducked under my punch, grabbing my arm and restraining it behind my back.

He used his other arm to hold my body from behind, his hot breath gliding down my neck.

"C'mon, little dove. You can do better than this. I've seen you do better." He coached breathlessly, as I elbowed him in the stomach, turning around to go for a punch to his face.

He dodged the punch, watching me about to activate my quirk.

Smirking, he simply did nothing. He didn't try to stop me, he didn't use his feathers. He just stood there. I didn't have time to think about it, as I quickly immobilized him.

Wrapping my arms around his waist, I tackled him to the ground, landing on top of him.

Keigo and I were breathing heavy from all of the exertion, as a few stray feathers fell out of my hair.

I straddled his waist, placing my hands on both sides of his head.

He laughed softly, meeting my gaze warmly.

"Damn, chicky. You're on top of me, and still have me immobilized, so I can't touch? Don't tease me." He joked, raising his brow at me playfully.

I deactivated my quirk, immediately feeling his hands go to my waist.

I smiled down at him, leaning my lips inches from his.

Keigo tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, as I rested my forehead against his.

"You're a dick." I whispered in amusement, watching his smile get wide.

"Why?" He asked, clearly already knowing what I was about to say.

"You let me win that sparring match. You let me take you down-" I countered, not being able to bitch anymore as he pulled me closer by the back of my neck.

"Shh." He whispered, catching my lips in his.

I couldn't help but return the kiss for a moment, feeling him run a hand through my hair.

Still wanting answers, I pulled away after a few seconds.

"I did let you win. But, only because I don't want you to feel obligated to take me to meet your parents. I want to go. But, I only wanna go when you want me to go. I don't want to impose, or force you into something that makes you uncomfortable. Now that you won, you don't have to take me, chicky." He said softly...absentmindedly trailing his fingers on my thighs, that were sprawled across his body.

I mulled over Keigo's words, feeling my heart grow two more sizes.

He knew our stipulation was that if he won our match, he'd come with me to meet my parents. He let me win instead, so I could make the choice.

It's not that I didn't want Keigo to come with me. Truthfully, I guess I was just a little afraid to let Keigo into another private part of my life. I was close with my family. I was nervous that maybe Keigo wouldn't mesh well with them in person, or my family would be too awestruck by him to treat him like a regular person. But, that's something I need to let go of.

Because, I really like him. And I shouldn't let my nerves stop me, when I do want him with me.

"Oh, just come with me, you dork." I laughed, plopping down on top of him for a hug.

He wrapped his arms around my back, immediately perking up at my words.

"Seriously? Are you sure?" He asked, clearly trying to hide his eagerness.

I buried my head in the crook of his neck...smelling a mix of sweat from our workout, and clean laundry from his clothes.

"Yes. I'm sure. I want you to come with me." I smiled, placing a chaste kiss on his neck.

The giddy chicken was back, as he began grinning from ear to ear again.

"Well, that worked out well." He smirked, rubbing soft circles on my back.

I furrowed my brows in confusion, about to ask him what he was talking about...before it hit me.

"Oh, you sly little fucker." I groaned out, hearing him trying to hide his laughter.

"You let me win, because you knew our stipulation, and you wanted to see if I'd change my mind." I remarked, silently impressed with his wits.

"Well, duh! Oh come on, little dove! You know me better than that. I'm not just gonna show up to someone's house when I don't feel welcomed! Of course I had to let you win. That way, I could hear that pretty, little mouth of yours say that you wanted me there." He defended, pulling my face up to meet his gaze.

I couldn't hide the happiness on my face anymore, as I saw Keigo. He looked as bright as the sun....white teeth flashing brightly from his smile, cheeks a little rosy from the workout we've been doing, hair messy and a little sweaty.

He looked happy. And that made me happy.

"Fine. Hope you're ready to meet the parents." I teased, connecting my mouth back to his.

"I was born ready." He mumbled against my lips, before kissing me deeply.
