One Month Later...
"How we looking doc, how's our baby?" Eager as hell, Dave kept asking the doctor fifty million questions each minute. I knew I couldn't take his black ass nowhere when it came to my appointments. Yes, I know he's excited to be a father, but let the doctor do his job babe, then you can ask questions.
"Well their heartbeats are perfectly fine and I believe that today will be the day you friend out abound the genders." I began to smile in pure joy, the only thing that I forgot to tell Dave is that we're having twins and not just one single baby. It seemed like every day he kept buying a shit load of diapers or baby essentials. I told him to wait until our appointment, but he just wouldn't listen. at least the diapers don't appeal to a specific gender.
"Twins? Wait a minute now doc, you mean to tell me that there's two babies up inside her? Damn my stroke game good as hell," I slapped his arm as he mumbled the last sentence, but he only laughed.
"Yes in fact there are twins, and here goes their heads," as the doctor moved the eclipse around my stomach. The gel died down from being so cold on certain spots on my stomach, but I shook off the feeling as Dave had a hold on my hand.
"As far as the genders, can you only tell me sir? I don't want this loud mouth to know," chuckling, I looked over Dave who glared at me.
"Of course, if you would like to step outside now sir, that would be good," referring to Dave, he sucked his teeth and got up out of the chair before sluggishly walking to the door and literally taking every little second to open up the door. The doctor and I looked at him and laughed.
"I'm gonna you know..be out here ya know. Want a snack? Doc you need a snack? No? Aight peace," as he pulled the door behind him, I shook my head and laughed. His ghetto ass is too extra.
"I'm sorry about him, he's just a big baby himself," sighing at Dave's silliness, I eased my mind waiting to hear what sort of results would come from the genders. It's already exciting enough that I'm gonna be a mom, but having to push out two babies? After this, I don't think I'll have any more kids for a long time.
As the doctor rubbed the eclipse around my stomach I looked at the screen as he was getting ready to speak. From my view, I could see a lil penis, but it also could be my expired contacts fucking up my vision.
"Here we have a boy, down here is the penis area and if we move down here to the other child, there is no penis present, hence a baby girl, you get the picture." Just hearing his response made me beyond happy and I was ready to tell Dave, but I must wait until the baby shower. I can't tell Alex or Regina, so I'll just keep it to myself.
For the theme, I might just do question mark balloons and decorations everywhere and have two boxes one white and the other one black. When it's time to reveal the gender, I'll have pink and blue balloons come out. So simple, and I couldn't ask for an easier way to do it. I know Dave will be excited and I might tell Slime and Candice to help make the baby shower a surprise.
"Thank you for the great news, I'll be sure to keep it a secret to him," once the doctor rubbed the jelly off of my stomach, I sat up and pulled my shirt down before swinging my legs up and off of the chair. After landing on my feet and standing up, I shook his hand before I went after Dave. His ass was sleeping with a bag of Doritos in his hand.
Tapping his shoulder to wake him up, he stretched and got up before we got ready to leave.

"Babe you want anything to eat before we get back to the house? Starbucks is right there unless you wanna go to Panera Bread," with his hand on one of my thighs and the other on the wheel, I glanced over at Panera Bread and told him I wanted to go there.
You already know I gotta have a turkey apple sandwich with avocado, a small bowl of mac and cheese, and since I'm pregnant I be eating two baguettes. If I was single, I'd be eating half the sandwich with a free baguette. But you know my mans gotta get me right cause he loves me..or should I say fiancé.
As far as the wedding, we decided not to get married until the kids turn one.
"Aye, lemme get uh..two mac and cheese bowls, the whole turkey apple sandwich but add avocado, and a whole toasted steak and white cheddar sandwich. Can you add like three bag breads up in that bih?" As Dave went ahead and ordered for me, he waited for the person on the other end to give him his total before driving off and pulling up to the last window.
"They asses is SO fucking expensive, never will I ever pay twenty sum dollars for food like this ever again," sucking his teeth out of frustration, I laughed at Dave before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Babe, you know I could've paid, but either way it's gon be okay."
"Okay my ass, you lucky next time you're gonna be the one paying and not me," as he rolled down his window and gave the girl the total, she went ahead and gave change and the receipt. Waiting for a few minutes, she gave him the bag and told us that the mac and cheese is very hot.

"Damn the shit was good as hell," stretching while yawning, Dave went ahead and cleared up up his trash for him and Kairi. he went ahead and divided his sandwich with her while I ate off my sandwich and shared my macaroni with her. I guess this is dinner, so I can't complain.
"Kairi it's time for bed, you have school tomorrow," kicking in his daddy duties, he went ahead and started packing up her lunch while I continued eating.
"Okay, I already took a bath and grandma's. Goodnight daddy," walking over to him, she wrapped his arms around him, giving him a hug as he kissed her forehead before walking over to me.
"Goodnight mommy. Goodnight babies, it's your big sister," kissing my stomach, she came over and also gave me a hug as I kissed her forehead and smiled down at her.
"Don't forget to brush your teeth boo." She simply nodded her head before going towards the washroom and grabbed her pink polka dot Jansport backpack. Once she set it up on the chair, she opened it up for her father to set her lunch box in. Waving at us one last time, Kairi headed upstairs to get ready for bed.
Gathering all my trash after I finished eating, I threw it away before walking over to Dave who was adding a ziplock bag full of carrots in Kairi's lunch box as well as the sandwich and fruit cup. Moving over to the pantry, I grabbed a bottle of water on the shelf and walked back over to Dave to put it in her lunch box.
Since I can't bend as much, Dave put the essentials on shelves that I may use constantly.
"Go ahead and head upstairs babe, I'll come up in a minute," Dave glanced over at me before zipping up Kairi's lunchbox. Moving away from me, he went ahead and placed the lunch box in the fridge for it to cool and be ready for when she heads off to school tomorrow.
"I'm not going anywhere, the little knife in the sink can wait, I want you upstairs in our bed now," bitting my lip I pulled him close to passionately kiss him on the lips as our tongues wrestled for dominance for a few seconds.
"You got one minute to get that ass in bed or else I'm gon tear that ass up," bitting his lips seductively, I slid my tongue across my teeth in a sexy way before turning around and walking away.
"Anything you say babe." I made my way over to the steps that was connected to the kitchen rather than to walk all the way around to the steps by the front door. Once I made my way upstairs, I went inside the room and stripped out of my clothes and put on a big t-shirt and underwear.
Making my way into the bathroom, I started on my twists for the twist out and went to work on my hair. Nothing more than curl enhance smoothie, spray bottle, and black castor oil. Putting my natural hair in four sections, I went ahead and started on one single section and divided it into two.
Nearly a whole twenty five minutes later, my twist outs were done and Dave was in bed watching TV. After putting on my silk bonnet, I turned off the light once my teeth were brushed. Heading over towards the bed, I climbed in and cuddled up against him as he pecked my lips.
"I love you mamas."
"I love you too."
With that being said, he turned off the TV and we closed our eyes and went to sleep.
AW! Yo, they look so cute guys! As far as the wedding song, I don't know what to choose yet, so you guys can keep commenting song ideas. Anyways, Parker is having twins, but don't tell Dave cause he'll go crazy. I'm glad that they are in love and happy and it's powerful. Black love is something so strong and I'm honestly here for it.
