Amelia's P.O.V
Our weekend had be amazing, it was fun and relaxed, never laughed so much in my life and it has brought us all closer. We had dropped Paris off at her house, the guys hiding in the backseat again, her mother waiting at the door for her to come back, she was embarrassed, the three of couldn't help but laugh.
"We should do that again...the four of us." Matt said as we walked into the house
"Yes we should, was good to get away." Ethan said
He never wanted to go home which still makes me really sad that his parents don't seem to be around much, knows how it feels. I have not even heard from any of mine since I came here. I was not letting that get me down, moving here was the best decision I have made.
"Mam where you at? Did you miss us?" Matt called out
"Kitchen and No, enjoyed the peace and quiet." She called back laughing
We placed our things in the hall, heading through to see my Aunt. When we arrived she was not alone though, the last person I expected to see was sitting there drinking coffee with her
"Dad?" I asked shocked
He looked up at me, his eyes full of guilt and disappointment...at himself.
"Hey sweet girl. I am so sorry, can you ever forgive me for how I acted?" he said
I fell silent, looking at him and I could see a hint of the real him again, he never looked as broken as when I left. I had missed him, no matter how much it hurt I still missed and loved him. Ethan gave my hand a tight squeeze, his way of saying he was right here.
"It hurt dad but I know you were hurting too. Of course I will forgive you." I said giving him a smile
I don't blame him, not really I blame my mother for what she done to him...done to us. It was her fault my dad fell apart cause he really did love her. A smile appeared on his lips, he was soon standing and coming over to me, putting his arms out. I let my hand drop from Ethan's and hugged my dad
"Sweetie I am so sorry, I was terrible. I should have been there for you. I hate myself for the way I was, for letting you think I never cared. You never deserved it, you done nothing wrong. I love you Amelia so much and I missed you." He said emotional
"It is OK I know you were hurting, know it was her fault. I am glad you seem better. I love you too." I said emotional too
He hugged me tight for about five minutes before he let me go. He stepped back looking at me
"You seem different. You seem more happy...more content." He smiled "Are you OK?" She added
"I am fine dad. I think it was the right thing me coming here." I said
"I think it was too." He smiled back
Once we were done, he looked at Ethan
"Are you gonna introduce me?" he said looking back at me, laughing
"Um...yeah, this is Ethan, my boyfriend...Ethan my father." I said blushing
I have never had to say that to my dad since well I have never had a boyfriend. My dad smirked at me, which made me worse
"Hi Sir it is nice to meet you." Ethan said putting his hand out
"You too son, please call me Kevin." He said shaking Ethan's hands
Once they said hello he turned to Matt
"How are you doing son? I am sorry I have not been here for you all the way I should have been." He said sadly
Before all this my dad and Matt were always close, got on great.
"I am getting there Uncle Kevin. It is OK, know you had a lot going on." Matt said hugging him
After everyone had said their hellos we all sat down, my Aunt making us all some coffee. Ethan staying close to me, just making sure I was OK. I rested my head on his shoulder, Ethan looking down at me and smiling
"You OK my love?" he asked stroking my cheek
I nodded, smiling back up at him. We told them about our weekend. It was good to see my dad happy and laughing again, he never looked as lost as when I last seen him. It was really good to him. I think Matt and My Aunt were glad to see him again. No one brought up my mother either which I was thankful for, it was her fault we all fell apart. I liked seeing everyone get on, my dad and Ethan seeming to get on well.
"Can I trust you to look after my daughter Ethan?" my dad asked
"Yes you can...promise, she means the world too me." Ethan replied
I hid my face, don't do well with people talking about me when I was in the room.
"I can second that. Ethan has been my best mate for many years and I have never seen him the way he is with Amelia, even though it was very strange for me to see at first." Matt said, laughing at the last part
"As long as you look after her and don't break her heart." My dad said
"I plan on looking after her and don't plan on hurting her in any way." Ethan said, kissing the top of my head
As sweet as it was too hear Ethan say these things I wish they would all stop talking about me while I was sitting here. I knew my face was bright red, everyone found that funny though. They eventually stopped talking about, my dad wanting to know all about school and what I have been doing since I got here. I got him up to date on everything including how long Ethan and I have been together.
"What about you dad? You doing better?" I asked
"Much sweetie. I have stopped all that nonsense and I am seeing someone, it is still early stages...still new but she is good for me and is very sweet, think you would like her. She has helped me get myself together." My dad gushed
I was taken back that he was seeing someone but happy for him too
"Oh My God you are? I am so happy for you, can't wait to meet her." I said excited
"And you will. Her and I are gonna come down visit in a few weeks, well if that is OK with you?" he asked
"Of course it is." I smiled
I was excited for him, she must be something special if she got him out of the way he was. My dad told us all about her before he decided to go get a shower and a nap after the long drive here. He was staying for a few days before heading home, it would be good to have him around for a few days. Everyone disappeared leaving Ethan and I alone, he pulled my chair in closer to him
"You doing OK baby?" he asked stroking my cheek
"I really am. He seems like his old self. Thank you for staying." I smiled
"Anytime." He said reaching in to kiss me softly "I love you Amelia." He added
"I love you too...very much." I replied back
We stole another quick kiss before we decided we should move too, get our things sorted out. I think I needed a nap too, don't think we all slept that much. I yawned, my tiredness coming through
"Come on my love, let's get you upstairs and let you get some rest. I may join you if that is OK?" He said
"It sounds perfect." I smiled
I grabbed his hand, the two of us heading upstairs for a nap. Then later we are all heading out for dinner, my father's treat. Ethan and I dumped out things on her floor, climbing into my bed, snuggling up and both soon drifting off. I could get used to this...him and I.

Hello everyone,
This will be the last update until at least Thursday,
thinking maybe the next chapter, skipping ahead a bit
cause I have plans for it in my head ;).
I am going away for a few days so wont be on but
will update probably Thursday.
I am thinking maybe 3-4 more chapters and it will be done
