Chapter 37 - Hanging out and playing cupid

Amelia's P.O.V

It felt strange walking into school hand in hand with Ethan especially when Matt was walking in with us. I was still nervous around Matt when it came to Ethan and I, Ethan seems the same, and sure it will get better in time. I hated that people were looking at us, clearly not used to seeing Ethan with a girl this way, plus the fact that I was Matt's cousin as well.

"I will see you both in class." Matt said walking away to go talk to someone else

Ethan and I nodded, Matt heading off. Ethan walked me to my locker, letting me get my things before class. As I got my things from the locker someone came over, a girl to talk to Ethan. I acted like I was not watching, busying myself when really I was watching out the corner of my eye. I was not sure who she was, seen her around school. She was very beautiful and I was wondering if maybe it was one of his hook up girls.

"You coming this weekend to the party?" she said

"I will wait and see." He replied smiling at her

"You can come to...it is Amelia right?" I hear her say

She knew who I was? How did that happen? I turned around to face her, not wanting to come across as rude

"Hey yeah that's me." I smiled

"Hey. I am Dallas by the way. So you wanna come to the party? Everyone will be there." She smiled

"Yeah I will maybe come, thank you." I said smiling back at her

She nodded her head, saying goodbye to us before heading off. I was still curious on who she was. I found myself drifting off, thinking about it. I was soon pulled out of it when Ethan stood in front of me.

"Amelia she is only a friend that is all she has ever been. She is like a sister to me, we have been friends for years, she has been with the same guy since she was thirteen." He said looking at me

Was I that obvious to him? I am sort of glad he explained to me, at the same time I felt bad cause he shouldn't feel like he needs to explain himself to me, his past is his past nothing is gonna change that. I smiled reaching up to kiss him sweetly before we decided to make a move, stopping by his locker to get his things before heading to class. When we arrived I see Matt sitting with Paris, chatting and laughing. God I wish they would go on a date already, it was clear they liked each other. Then I got an idea. I turned to Ethan, giving him my sweetest smile. Ethan looked at me, cocking a brow at me

"What are you after?" he asked reading me like a book

"I need your help with something." I said batting my lashes at him

"What is it? You know I will say yes cause I can't say no to you." He chuckled

I smiled widely, knowing he was right he did have a hard time telling me no.

"I wanna try set Matt and Paris up, it is obvious they like each other. I don't mean like a double date, not really that would be too much pressure on them. Thinking more along the lines of finding a way for the four of us to casual hang out and hopefully it goes from there?" I asked

I know if I arranged an actual double date Matt would find a way to get out of it. At least if I can find a way for the four of us to hang out at home then there is a less of a chance that Matt can get out of it.

"I should have known that is what you wanted." He laughed "Leave it with me, I will find a way around it." he added with a wink

"Thank You." I gushed at him reaching in to place a soft kiss on his cheek

The teacher soon arrived, getting started on the lesson. Matt joined us soon after it started. I looked at him, smirking which made him look at me confused. I gave him an innocent smile before quickly turning away from him.

It was lunch time and I was sitting at the table with Matt, Ethan, Paris, Dallas and two of the other guys they hang out with, Ben and Kane, never really knew them, only met them once.

"How are you enjoying the new school Amelia?" Ben asked

"Yeah it is good thank you." I smiled

"I am curious about something, how did you manage to tame this one?" he said nodding at Ethan

"Um...I don't know." I said a little embarrassed

"Well you much be special, never thought Ethan could even spell Girlfriend, never mind have one." He chuckled, making everyone laugh

That earned him a slap across the head from Ethan

"Dude shut up. Please stop embarrassing my girlfriend." He said glaring at him

Ben put his hands up, surrendering to Ethan and changing the subject. I have Ethan a thankful smile, Ethan winking at me before wrapping his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into him and kissing the top of my head. It was sweet but I found myself blushing when he did. It felt weird us being this way together in front of everyone. I liked it though, liked that we never had to hide anymore.

"What is everyone's plans for tonight?" Ethan asked everyone

Everyone seemed to have plans, well except Paris and then that is when I realised why Ethan was asking everyone. He nudged me slightly under the table, telling me to say to her about hanging out

"If you don't have any plans you should come over tonight, the four of us can hang out." I smiled at her

I watch as Matt's full face changes and I tried my best not to smirk or he would know exactly what I was up to. Paris turned to Matt

"That OK with you?" she asked him

I knew he wouldn't say no to her, thus plan was working perfectly. I watch as Matt rubs the back of his neck, something he does when he is nervous.

"Yeah of course you can. The four of us can watch a movie, order pizza in or something." He managed to stutter out

I think Matt is more smitten with Paris than I first thought. Paris smiled, pushing her hair behind her ear and nodding. I swear if it is the last thing I do I am gonna set they two up with the help of Ethan.

"Sorted then." Ethan said smirking at Matt

Matt looked between Ethan and I, soon glaring at us. He has worked out exactly what we are up to. I quickly turned away from him, Ethan doing the same. He can shout at me later if he wants but it is happening and there is nothing he can do about it. Everyone finished up lunch, al heading our separate ways to different classes. Ethan was in my next class so we were walking together. Before we entered he pulled me aside, pushing me into a corner and soon his lips were covering mine in a heated kiss. I whimpered, not only cause it felt good, also cause I was not expecting. He pulled away from my lips, winking at me and licking his lips

"I thought I would take the opportunity while I could." He chuckled

"Hmm." Was all I manged to get out

He smirked, pulling away and reached for my hand, leading us into class. His kiss still makes my head spin every time he kisses me. I think I am finally getting used to this full boyfriend thing now.
