'Hey y/n, what are you doing here?' Bucky asks as he walks into Tony's lab.
'I'm helping Tony with something, but the hard part is hat he doesn't want to tell what I'm helping him with...but anyway, what are you doing here buck?'
'I was just walking around the building, decided to see if you were here...'
'Were you looking for me?'
'Maybe...'
'And why would that be?' You ask.
At that moment something cracks and light fills the room, you cover your eyes and then you feel yourself falling on the ground.
You slowly open your eyes and you notice you're not in the lab anymore, Bucky is laying next to you and you crawl over to him.
'Bucky....wake up...' you whisper as you shake him.
'What, what!' He replies as you do so.
'Were not in Tony's lab anymore...' you explain as he looks around.
'Yeah I can see that!' He says irritated.
'Pump the hate brakes, I don't like it anymore than you do...where the hell are we?'
'Judging by the sounds and the environment, I think were at the docks...' you say looking up, only to see a group of strangers carefully taking in the sight of you two.
'Uh...y/n, what do we do?'
'Oh no, I think I know where we are, better to say in what time we are...'
'What do you mean ?'
'I think we're in the Victorian era...'
'You've got to be kidding me, I'm gonna Kill Tony...I really am this time...'
'It's about to get worse, for me...this is the era of modesty and purity, and I am practically naked on a ship, with another man who I am not married to and everyone can see me...'
'It's gonna be okay doll, we're gonna make a run for it and we will hide...'
'Yeah let's do that before we get in serious trouble...' you reply as Bucky helps you up.
You two climb it and as you run into the busy city, you get yelled at by the sails men.
You hide in an alley and you peek around the corner to see if anyone followed you.
'Good, no one followed us...'
'How do you know so much of the Victorian era?, I didn't know they were all about modesty and purity and all...'
'Shhh...' you shush him as your eye catches a girl sitting on a bench looking at the water with a little boy next to her.
Bucky follows your gaze with confusion.
'Thomas...' you breathe.
'Wait can you please tell me what's going on?' Bucky whispers and you elbow him away.
'I have an idea...listen this is going to sound crazy but that little boy over there, he is my little brother, that little girl is me...'
'What?!' Bucky says rather loud and you shush him once again.
'Let me finish damn....okay...if I am get her attention, then maybe I am talk to my mother about it, she will believe me I'm sure of that..'
'Why?'
'Because She is special, trust me she doesn't know I know what she is...'
'And what may that be exactly?'
'She's a witch... I'll tell you the details later, now what would grab my attention...' you think for a moment.
'Do you have any change?' You ask and Bucky reaches into his pocket and hands you one coin.
'Right Okay, lets try...' you mutter as you reflect the sun on it and shine it on their eyes, you look up and into your own eyes.
You signal yourself to come to you (I know it sounds extremely strange but just go with it 😂).
You signal yourself to come to you and she hesitates for a bit.
She decides to take Thomas by the hand as she walks to the alley.
'Who are you?' The little girl says.
'I am you, from the future...look at my clothes...'
'I'd rather not...' she replies and you frown.
'Wow past-me was a dick...' you mutter and you can hear Bucky laughing.
'Okay, What can I do to make you believe me?' You ask.
'If you really are who you say you are you must know my deepest secret...'
'What date is it?'
'July third...1889...' the girl responds.
'Okay...hmmm let's think...' you whisper.
You move to the girls ear while Thomas walks over to Bucky and checks him out from head to toe.
The girl nods slightly and she smiles.
You move away and she nods.
'Okay I believe you...how can we help?'
'I need to talk to mom...I mean mother, and we need clothes so we don't look odd...can you do that?' You ask and she nods in reply.
She gestures you to come with her and she looks around the corner and turns to you.
'Follow me...' she whispers as she quickly walks to one of the shops.
'Miss Cathedral, I have two friend who need clothes, can you please do that?, on my account please...' the little girl says.
'Of course Miss y/l/n...' she replies with a soft smile as she look at you.
Without question she starts to measure you and Bucky.
'I may have something that might fit you two just fine, come with me to the dressing rooms...' she orders and you walk with the firmly build woman.
She hands you some clothes and you gulp when you see a corset. Your mind goes back to when you wore one when you were a teenager and you put on a pout and put it on.
Bucky is already dressed when you slowly pull away the curtain to your dressing room.
His eyes grow big as he looks at you, the little girl and boy smile and gasp as you slowly step out.
'You look beautiful doll...' he smiles.
'Thank you sir, you don't look so bad yourself, these are amazing clothes Miss Cathedral...' you compliment her.
'The best in town..' she smiles back.
'Shall we go now?' The girl asks and you two nod.
'Shall I give them a coat Miss y/l/n...'
'Yes please...' the girl replies.
You put on the coat and the four of you walk outside.
'You can come home with us, mother will be home when we arrive...you can talk to her then...' she says and you two nod as you walk to a carriage and get in.
As you're riding to the house you notice Bucky being nervous and you put your hand on his to relax him.
He relaxes under your touch and past-you sees it.
'Are you two together in marriage?' She asks kindly and you start to chuckle.
'No..were friends...very good friends...' you reply.
'Oh...' she simply replies. As she looks away.
Bucky glances at you with a smirk. He considers you more than friends, he wishes to tell you everyday, and that was what he was about to tell you just before you ended up here. But now he thinks it's not a good time.
But he will tell you, someday...
