Galaxy slammed her knife down to the floor in anger.
(Imagine a cool transition from Infinity's claw to Galaxy's knife if this was animated).
"What happened? This doesn't look like the underworld. The heck is Kata doin' here?!" Aki muttered.
"By the looks of it, she's getting tested on..." Charlie mentioned.
"With what?!" Aki questioned.
"Don't you recognise the scent?" Charlie asked.
Aki's eyes widened.
"Wait...! This... this is where that anti-magic stuff is being developed?!" Aki gasped in horror.
"Just call it the A.M chemical the like the rest of the smart-asses," Charlie grumbled.
"I'm not taking advice from the guy who worked with these torture-loving freaks!" Aki argued.
"Newsflash, I've never worked with these assholes. I worked with demons that worked with them!" Charlie explained.
"Oh, same diff!" Aki argued back.
"Galaxy, we gonna get outta here now?" Aki suggested.
"...." Galaxy didn't speak.
"Err... Galaxy?" Aki repeated.
"Oh, no..." Charlie whimpered.
Someone began to walk over to them, noticing the noise...!!
"Ah! Galaxy!!! Teleport!! Now!! Teleport teleport teleport teleporttt!" Aki immediately poked her boobs repeatedly.
Just as the person was seconds away from seeing them...
Galaxy sprung up, slashing her knife in front of her, slicing the person's throat open!!!
"Uh...!!" Aki gasped in horror, eyes shaking to see the blood splatter on Galaxy's cheek.
"Togaaaa!!!" a vampire - we'll call him... Jake? - came running over to the decapitated corpse.
"Uh... Galaxy...?" Kata mumbled, weakly lifting her head.
"Get down!!" Charlie dived on Aki, so they were both hidden behind the desk.
"Who the hell are you?!!" another vampire yelled, eyes changing to red.
Galaxy teleported to the vampire, ripping his throat out instantly.
"Healing potions, quick!" Jake cried.
"You can't heal decapitation, Jake!!" another vampire lectured him.
"Kata, did you betray us?!!! Who the hell are these demons?!" another vampire demanded to know as Galaxy teleported to them.
"What have you been doing to my dear Kata?" Galaxy asked, knife digging into the vampire's stomach.
"Ah! We--"
"TOO SLOW!!" Galaxy yelled, ripping the blade up his body and throwing him against the potion desk.
"Holly sh--" Aki trembled as the body splatted onto the floor before them.
"Shh!" Charlie put his hand against Aki's mouth.
She immediately teleported behind the vampire charging at her, letting their claws tear right through the other vampire's face as Galaxy slashed through their body. But one slash wasn't enough!! She slammed her knife down repeatedly until the two corpses shared the same mixture of blood.
"Galaxy!! N-no!! Please stop!! Stop it!!! I can explain!!" Kata suddenly cried.
Galaxy rocketed the knife at Kata, slamming it into the wall beside her head.
"THEN EXPLAIN!!" Galaxy ordered as she grabbed an incoming vampire by the neck, then dug her knife through one of their eyes.
"What the hell...?!" Aki trembled.
"First time?" Charlie muttered.
"I thought I'd seen every side of her..." Aki mumbled.
"I-I was just trying to cure you!!" Kata cried.
"I DON'T NEED TO BE CURED; I NEED TO BE LEFT ALONE!!!" Galaxy screamed, teleporting to the trembling Kata, ripping the knife out the wall.
She swung it to the side, penetrating another vampire.
The blood splattered onto Kata's cheek as tears filled her eyes.
It was the same as all those years ago. Ever since the vampires made her a test subject, she slowly became lost in insanity...
"Hahahahah! Die! Everyone die!!! Haha!!! AH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAAHHH!!! Who's weak now?!!!" the memory of Galaxy exploded as she launched knives at her classmates.
"Galaxy..." Kata whimpered, seeing her best - her only - friend, broken and defeated.
"Haha!!! Die, bitches!!!" she screamed as blood splattered everywhere.
"Haha...." she stammered, breaths shaking as she looked around to see everyone dead.
But her smile soon dropped as she stood there mindlessly.
She spotted Kata.
Her knife dropped at the sight of her surroundings. But her expression did not present surprise nor shock. She'd simply been dragged back to reality again. It wasn't anything new. She knew what she'd done. Why should she be surprised?
"This all seemed somewhat purposeful a moment ago... yet suddenly... it's turned pointless... I wonder why..." Galaxy mumbled under her breath.
Kata's eyes widened as she hid her head behind a rock, fearing Galaxy meeting her eye.
Galaxy looked around regretfully but not shamefully.
She walked to Kata and gently placed her head by hers', hugging the shaking girl.
"D-don't be scared, Katah. You're not the one... who should be scared, haha... It's ok. You're ok... You'll be ok... even if I'm not..." Galaxy told her, uncontrollably dragging out the last part of Kata's name.
Meanwhile...
Infinity went to jump at Comet but phased through him instead. Comet growled as he turned to see Infinity running behind him.
He suddenly jumped up and grabbed Luna's leg, biting it with no mercy.
"AAAGHH!!!" Luna screamed as he pulled her down.
"Luna!" Yurio yelled as Leo quickly used his wind powers to try and throw Infinity off, but it wasn't strong enough!
Comet dived at him, biting his neck and throwing him away from Luna.
"Luna, are you ok?" Yurio asked Luna, who was brought to the floor from her injury.
"Look out!" Luna yelled, suddenly pushing him out of the way to release a force of water at the incoming Infinity.
"A phasing power... how inconvenient," Comet sighed as Infinity crashed to the wall from the water's pressure.
"Luna, we have to run! You're gonna get hurt!" Yurio yelled while Comet was attacking Infinity, buying them possibly a mere second.
"And leave the-- erm... good... wolf to fight for us?!!" Luna yelled.
"Good pretty wolf," Leo added.
"Call me Comet," Comet informed them, jumping in front of Infinity, who had tried phasing through him again.
Infinity suddenly bit his neck in Comet's distraction, causing him to growl and shake him off.
"Pretty wolf has a name...." Leo mumbled, still with an adorable blush, dreaming off to the side, away from the bloodshed.
"The little pup can call me pretty wolf....." Comet mumbled shyly before ripping into Infinity's arm.
"Uh- We don't have time for this! Luna, Leo, come on!! We're not strong enough to--"
"I can be strong just like everyone else! Yukine risked his life for me! I can do that too, you know?! I can get hurt if I want to!! If Yukine can find a reason worth fighting to stay alive, I can fight for my reasons just the same!!" Luna yelled as she weakly got up and made a wall of thorns which the wolf went straight through.
Luna stumbled out of the way as the wolf crashed down to the water-filled floor. Comet went to attack, but Infinity brutally kicked him against the wall.
Yurio crashed an ice sword at Infinity, who bit through it, shattering it to pieces!!
Luna quickly formed a bubble of water around Infinity and used it to throw him against the wall. But he phased through it, dropping out before impact.
"You're taking this too far! You're gonna die if you keep this up! Please stop! I don't know how much more of this I can take!!!" Yurio let out in all his might.
"THEN RUN!!!" Luna yelled as she used her water powers to blast the ice out of the way of the exit.
"Not without you!" he called, grabbing Luna's wrist as she ran to the fighting Infinity and Comet.
"Listen to me, Yurio! You have to save yourself and Leo!! Get Shadow Moon here! You'll only get hurt too if you stay here! Please, just go! Let me be the one to save you for once!" she yelled.
"If you get hurt anymore, you'll hurt me just as much as Infinity's blade would! Don't you feel the same way about Yukine?" he asked.
Luna stopped for a second, losing all concentration.
Infinity suddenly pounced on the conversation, having worn Comet out.
"Agh!" Luna panicked.
Yurio suddenly froze its feet and slammed a block of ice across its head in a punch.
He broke out of the ice as Yurio kicked him back down with sharp ice blades formed on his feet.
He smashed a merciless block of ice at the wolf that broke into the wall as it hit him.
He still got back up, but Yurio forced a wall of ice at the last second when the wolf pounced at him, making him hit it and fall back. He quickly shook his head and pouched again, phasing through the ice to meet Yurio's icy punch.
The strength potion Yurio had taken was clearly kicking in...!
The wolf growled, getting angry.
He went to pounce again as Yurio aimed his fist, but the wolf suddenly darted to the side towards Leo.
But Comet quickly grabbed the scarf Leo was wearing and dragged him back out of the way. He growled, guarding Leo against Infinity.
"I thought he wasn't the target. Resorting to obtaining a hostage? I'm disappointed in you," Comet smirked.
Infinity growled but decided not to pursue him further. Instead, he turned back to Yurio, who was launching a colossal ice wall to come crashing at him!!
But Infinity jumped into the wall of ice, phasing through his attack once again!! He pounced onto Yurio in seconds, pinning him down instantly as his jaw dripped drool.
"GET AWAY!!!" Luna yelled, using vines and branches to pull Infinity into the wall, causing a crack.
"YURIO, JUST RUN!!!" Luna yelled as the wall Infinity had crashed into suddenly broke away.
Infinity went for Luna, who used her water magic to pressure him away from her. He was sent near the edge of the broken wall. Some thousand feet below was the ground.
Infinity resisted the water, going to pounce when Comet dived at him for a final attack, causing him to lose his balance and fall through the gap!!
Luna panted as she fell to her knees. Then, suddenly, a shadow covered her.
"Oh, no..." Luna gasped.
Infinity had transformed into his dragon form!
It let out a painful roar as it flapped its mighty wings against the wind.
Comet analysed the situation.
"Annnd, that's a dragon. Thanks for the tip, Galaxy..... *sigh* I advise retreating," He commented as he grabbed Leo again and swung him onto his back.
"Hold on tight, pup," he mentioned with a smirk.
Leo ran his hands through his fur with a blush.
"No time for grooming right now, young one," he added before running out of the cave.
"Uh- WAIT!!!!" Yurio yelled as his brother waved goodbye on his new wolf friend.
"Don't dieeeeeeeee," Leo called, voice getting quieter as Comet took him further away.
"Luna, he took my brother!!" Yurio pointed out.
"And your brother took our protection!! It's up to us now!!" Luna declared.
"Wait-" Yurio noticed Luna stepping forward, going to jump off the cliff onto the dragon.
Yurio attempted to grab her hand but was too late.
"No! Please, Luna! Stop this!" Yurio yelled as he landed on the floor, failing to grab Luna back.
"(pant pant pant) I will (pant) stop you! (Pant)" Luna panted, breathing heavily as her wings helped her attack the dragon.
Luna went to attack but was hit by Infinity's tail, sticking her into the mountain's ice.
"Agh!" Luna yelled as she felt her strength fading more every second.
"Luna... Stop! PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU TO STOP THIS!!! I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH TO LET YOU DIE!!!" Yurio yelled out.
