Ratliff's POV
I hear Rydel crying and it breaks my heart. I cant stand it anymore. I bang on the door.
"Delly, Let me in now! Im worried about you! Did something happen at the park? Please answer me... Mark needs you. He shouldnt have to see you like this Delly. He needs you, you're his mom. He keeps asking for you. C'mon Delly, open up...please?"-Ratliff
"G-Go away! I dont wanna see anybody right now!"-Rydel
"I love you Delly, I need you to talk to me! I cant stand to see you so upset! Please tell me whats wrong? Is it the baby? Did you hurt yourself? Was it me? Delly please..."-Ratliff
I cant hold back any longer. The tears that had been pricking my eyes finally fell. I sniffled, wiping away the tears.
My voice cracks as I try calling out to her.
"D-Delly..."-Ratliff
I just break down. I start full on crying. I hear Rydel shuffling on the other side of the door and she opens it.
As soon as I see her tear stained face I automatically cry more. I run into her arms and she hugs me tightly. I cry into her neck and she cries into mine.
We finally pull apart and she pulls me inside the room, locking it behind us.
"Delly, whats wrong?"-Ratliff
"Ell, I'm fine, honestly..."-Rydel
"Rydel! I've known you for years... You're lying!"-Ratliff
"Ellington! I can't tell you! I'm dying to tell you but I cant! It's breaking me apart. I don't know what to do... Ell, I'm sorry but I have to do this... Its-"-Rydel
Just then theres banging on the door, interrupting Rydel.
"Who is it?"-Rydel
"Riker"-Riker
"One Sec..."-Rydel
She wipes the tears away and stands up. She unlocks the door and there's Riker standing there with Mark on his hip.
"He kept asking for you guys..."-Riker
"Thanks bro."-Ratliff
"Have you been crying?"-Riker
"No...It's Allergies..."-Ratliff
"Sureee... Anyway, Dad wants band rehearsal in 5 minutes so you better come quick!"-Riker
"Sure Thing...Be there in a sec!"-Ratliff
He walks away and I turn back to Rydel.
"Continue..."-Ratliff
"It's fine, It's nothing to worry about... Lets go!"-Rydel
"Delly-"-Ratliff
"I said it's fine, now just drop it!"-Rydel
She walked straight past me.
I walked out with Mark in my arms and went to join the rest of the guys.
During the rehearsal, Rydel kept zoning out, messing up and letting tears fall. There's something she's not telling me...
After a couple hours band rehearsal finished and we were free to do whatever we want.
Rydel walked into the living room, turned on the TV and put 'Tangled' on.
The only time she ever watches that film is when she is upset or scared.
I sit down beside her and pull her head onto my chest. She snuggles in and we begin watching.
"I love you..."-Rydel
"I love you too!"-Ratliff
"No, I really love you..."-Rydel
"Delly, I love you more than anything in this world, You're the only person I ever want! You, Me and Our Children. Soon you'll be Mrs.Ratliff and we'll have another baby, We'll be a little family..."-Ratliff
I see tears falling down her cheeks. I get my thumb and wipe them away.
"Hey, Princesses dont cry..."-Ratliff
"Ell..."-Rydel
"Yeah?"-Ratliff
"Did you miss me?"-Rydel
"What?..."-Ratliff
"When I left... Did you miss me?"-Rydel
"Delly, words cant explain how much I missed you, everynight I would cry myself to sleep, everyday I would check your twitter, I was always wishing you'd come back, every text I got, I would always get excited and think it was from you, everytime the doorbell went I thought it was the police telling us they found you, everytime I saw you on the news it broke my heart even more. I was scared incase you had died or got into some trouble, I thought I'd never see you again, I was heartbroken, I would sometimes sleep in your room, just so I could be close to you again, I always kept your photo on my bedside table, I was always turning down dates, hoping you'd be back soon, my heart belonged to you...It still does, if you were to ever leave again, I'd be crushed, I probably wouldnt beable to live. We're a family now, nothing can break us apart, Right Delly?"-Ratliff
By this time, tears we're just pouring out of her.
"R-Right..."-Rydel
I bent down and kissed her bump, I then lifted my head and kissed her.
I put my arm around her and she let her hand rest on my fake bump. The bump starts kicking and a small smile tugs onto her lips.
"I cant believe you can put up with it..."-Rydel
"It feels kinda strange..."-Ratliff
"I know..."-Rydel
"How much longer do we have to wear these?"-Ratliff
"Only for another 5 months!"-Rydel
"Woah..."-Ratliff
"Yeah... We need to talk..."-Rydel
"Let me guess? You're getting stressed about the baby shower, Marks second birthday and the wedding?"-Ratliff
"I never even thought about that! Damn it!"-Rydel
"Its okay, lets plan it now! It'll take your mind off of things for a while..."-Ratliff
"Yeah, I guess so..."-Rydel
"Okay, so since Marks birthday is in 3 days, we should plan that one first..."-Ratliff
"Maybe we could take him to the zoo, he loves it there, besides they've opened another aquarium, you know he loves animals, also we could take him to see Rocky's sloth..."-Rydel
"Yeah, Then afterwards we could come back here and invite family over for a barbeque and we can get him a really cool cake?"-Ratliff
"Thats a plan!"-Rydel
"Now that most of Marks birthday is planned, we should plan the baby shower!"-Ratliff
"Okay, for the baby shower I was thinking, we could hire a party hall, decorate it and throw it there?"-Rydel
"Yeay, When do you want it?"-Ratliff
"2 weeks time, I can plan the rest with the girls, Now the wedding..."-Rydel
"First of all, colour scheme?"-Ratliff
"How about multicoloured? I think it'll be so cool!"-Rydel
"Yeah! And the guys can wear converse that match the colour of their ties?"-Ratliff
"That is a great idea! I can wear my pink converse with my wedding dress!"-Rydel
"That'll be awesome! Ooh, we should totally get a photographer to take loads of crazy pictures aswell, I dont really want the normal,cliche wedding!"-Ratliff
"That is a perfect idea,since nobody in this family is normal! This wedding is gonna be so cool!"-Rydel
"We should get Riker to take the pictures since he's such a brilliant filmographer!"-Ratliff
"Is that even a word? Besides Ross would be better, since he thinks hes a professional photographer!"-Rydel
We both burst out laughing.
"No, but seriously i'll ring an agency and book a real professional photogapher as soon as we have a date!"-Ratliff
"This may sound crazy but I wanna get married while I'm still pregnant... I wanna bring our baby into this world as husband and wife!"-Rydel
"If thats what you want, I'm happy to do that!"-Ratliff
"Thank you, I'm gonna go get in the shower, we can finish planning later okay?"-Rydel
She bends over and kisses me on the lips.
"Alright, love you!"-Ratliff
"Love you too!"-Rydel
She walks up the stairs and I put the paper away.
All of this is starting to feel real now...
In the space of 5 months, I'm gonna be married and a dad again.
Am I even ready for this?
