Jaelynn is a young girl from Harlem trying to make it. After her parents are murdered, she moves to New Orleans where she finds herself bumping into August, a fine neighbor. Jaelynn's attitude attracts many guys, but August in particular stands out. August, as is most boys, is a player, but he chases Jae, so she begins to fall for him. They build a complicated relationship with eachother, but the love is still there. Both Jaelynn And August are flawed; "You're no angel anyways".
