“That would be the Cellar Club, it’s a night club in New Downtown Upton that’s run in an old wine cellar.”

“Well the body must be there then,” said Arthur.

  “Body?” wondered Was.

“Yes, the Author told us that Mr. White-not-Black was murdered.”

  Was looked visibly shaken.

“Was he alive when you last saw him?” inquired Arthur.

  “Yes he was.”

“Where did you take him before you took him to the Cellar?”

“Hell’s Kitchen, the Public Library, The Music Conservatory, Central Hall, Lounge Lizard, The Dining Room, The Winter Ballroom, The Stud-e Ranch and the British Embassy.”

Arthur looked at Sid, “Did you notice something about all those places?”

  “What?”

“They are all but one the names of the rooms on a Clue(do) board.”

“Ooer, so they are, kitchen, library, conservatory…”

“Hall, lounge, dining room, ballroom, study,” finished Arthur. “The British Embassy is the odd one out.”

“I bet that’s where the murderer is.”

  “Why?”

  “Because it’s not a Clue(do) room.”

“And you said I jump to conclusions.” He turned back to Was, “Do you know why somebody would want to murder Mr. White-not-Black?”

“He was a goody two shoes,” interjected Honest Jim, “he was white not black in nature as well as his name. He worked for the classy newspaper the New New York Chronos. He was always on a crusade. I’m surprised no one’s stuck a bullet in him sooner.”

“Is that how he was murdered?” asked Sid.

“How do I know, it was just an expression.”
