Ratliff's POV
Today I am coming home from visiting my mom. It was a great visit... it took my mind off of Rydel. I miss her so much! Her long blonde hair... Hazel eyes... her smile... everything. Ever since she left I haven't been the same. I've been more depressed.
The night Rydel left Kelly came over. She forced me to kiss her. I felt so guilty! Good job Rydel didn't see. I wonder why Rydel left... I wish she was still here! It's been almost 2 years!
I thought Rydel was gonna be the one to have my babies and to one day become Mrs. Ratliff!
I hop onto the plane and take window seat. I'm sat next to a lady. I look through my phone pictures. There's loads of me and Rydel. My screensaver is of me and her kissing. The lady must of seen my phone as she began speaking to me.
"That's a beautiful girl you've got there!"-Lady
"Yeah..."-Ratliff
"What's wrong?"-Old Lady
"I haven't seen her in 2 years"-Ratliff
"Mind if I ask why?"-Lady
"She left me... and I have no idea why... her parents went to her room and she wasn't there... we haven't seen her since. All she left was a note saying that she had to leave and she couldn't tell us why... I thought I saw her at one of our bands concert but it couldn't of been her..."-Ratliff
"She must of had a pretty good reason to leave such a gentleman like you... she would've been very lucky to have you! I bet she misses you ALOT!"-Lady
"It's really hard to try and forget about her aswell... she's on my mind 24/7. I live with her family as my mom works away. That's where I just came from. So now I'm going back to L.A where her family live. It's going to be hard seeing them. Everybody was so upset when she left... I can't help but feel it's my fault she left... I just hope she's okay..."-Ratliff
"I'm sure she's fine, hopefully you'll see her again soon! You never know what the future holds!"-Lady
"I guess your right! Thanks for this talk!"-Ratliff
"Anytime! Here's my number, I live in L.A too! If you ever need to talk then I'm here!"-Lady
"Thanks!"-Ratliff
I put the number in my phone and put my earphones in. I listen to music before falling into a deep sleep.
When I wake up people are exiting the plane. I leave the airport after saying goodbye to the lady. I get into my car that has been shipped and I drive home.
When I get home the Lynch's greet me and welcome me home. I hug them all and I grab my suitcase, taking it to my room.
I lay on my bed and it smells really nice... it smells like... No it can't be...
I miss her so much... I think I'm going crazy!
I wish I could just hold her in my arms again.
I start sobbing and snuggle into my cover. I must've fallen asleep as I wake up to Stormie calling us for dinner.
We sit around the table and begin eating. Is it me or does everybody seem happier?
When we all finish we start clearing the table and sit in the living room. Ryland stands up and goes to walk out the door.
"Mom! I'm going over to Ry-"-Ryland
He was cut off my Rocky covering his mouth.
If I didn't know any better I would have thought he said Rydel's. That's impossible though.
"I meant I'm going over to...uh... Mary's...yeah, that's where I'm going!"-Ryland
Mary... Rydel's middle name... everything reminds me of her.
"Ooh, Baby Lynch Has Got A Girlfriend!"-Ratliff
Ryland just awkwardly laughs and walk out the door.
Everybody is acting so weird.
I go down to the recording studio and record 'Fallin' For You'. It's the song Rydel and I wrote together. I made the promise that I'll never leave her and she leaves me. I still wonder why though. Maybe I'll find out one day...
I sit on a beanbag in the studio and write a new song.

Tears prick my eyes as I finish the song.
I record the song and transfer it onto a disk. I label the disk 'Rydel's Song-Ratliff' then I put today's date.
I go upstairs to my room and flop onto my bed. My eyes shut and next thing I know I'm asleep.
When I wake up I go downstairs and outside to get the mail. I look over to the BEAUTIFUL girl next door. Her brown and Ombré hair glistens in the sunlight and her Hazel eyes sparkle. She reminds me of Rydel.
"Hey...you must be the new neighbour?"-Ratliff
She looks at me and a look of panic comes across her face.
"Y-yeah, I moved in 2 weeks ago..."-???
"Cool... Well my name is Ellington... but call me Ratliff!"-Ratliff
"I'm Ry- Mary! Yeah... I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you... Radcliffe?"- Mary
"Ratliff... and nice to meet you too! I hope to see you around!"-Ratliff
"Maybe..."-Mary
And with that she rushed into her house, slamming the door.
She looks exactly like Rydel! Except for the hair... I wish it was Rydel! I miss her so much!
Just then Riker walks out of the house and goes over to Mary's. He knocks on the door and she welcomes him in. Isn't that Rylands girlfriend? Oh my god! She's cheating on Ryland with Riker! Should I tell Ry? I'm not sure what to do...
I push it to the side and decide to get into the pool. I jump into the pool and water splashes everywhere. I wish Rydel was here with me. It reminds me of the R5TV's we used to do. Like when we jumped into the pool and swam around. Why can't things be the same as they used to be. I wish Rydel never left!
I lay there in deep thought, floating on top of the water. I had to decide what to do about Mary, Ryland and Riker!
I was gonna ask her! Yeah... that's what I was gonna do!
