Lauren's pov:
" grandpa." It all came back to me.
" you remember me?"
" oh my god." I tried not to cry.
" well just don't stand there give me a hug!" He put his arms out.
I went and hugged him and dug my nose into his shoulder,
Where's grandma though?
" well mr.Corleone welcome. Come In." Jason said very formally.
" ahh Jason McCann. Thank you." We walked in.
" how are things going for you two?" My grandpa asked.
I sat by Jason.
"Great! But I have some questions for you." I said looking and him.
" yes? What's your question."
" well one... Where's grandma?" I asked.
" oh Your grandmother passed away 5 years ago sweetheart." He said sorta hurt.
Jason held my hand.
"Oh umm... Well where do you live?" I asked.
" Chicago. I moved when your grandma passed." He sat back in the chair.
" soo let's get into the real talk. What can you tell us about redhawk?" I asked.
" well-" just before he started to talk the door bell rang.
" I'll go get it." Jason said standing up.
I looked at my grandpa.
" I'll tell you and Jason everything you need to know later on." My grandfather said as he lit a cigarette.
" oh no no no. No smoking in the house, go outside." I said taking it and walking away.
" you're gonna make it hard for me." He said getting up.
" this will make it harder for you." I said standing outside holding it and plugging my nose.
" well it helps." He said grabbing it and sitting down.
" it doesn't though." I winked and laughed and walked inside.
" Hey Dad!" I hugged him but then saw behind him was aunt Toni.
" Aunt Toni!" I ran and hugged her.
" how are you? Oh my god you've gotten so big!" She said playing with my hair.
" I'm good. Just been going with the flow lately. Where's uncle chuck?" I asked.
" oh yeah. About that, we can talk about that." Tyler came over and grabbed me.
" what?" I asked.
" divorce, also aunt Connie is in labor so she can't make it." He said as we walked into the kitchen.
" oh my god! Who all knows?" I asked.
" me ,you and dad." He said grabbing food.
" would you like anything miss." A lady asked as she cooked food.
" oh no thank you." I smiled and looked for Jason.
I finally found him sitting outside with my grandfather talking.
" what do you think they are talking about?" Ariana asked coming up to me.
" my mother. Maybe. Maybe gang stuff I really don't know..." I said looking over at her.
" how are you?" She asked.
" what do you mean?"
" like with your family coming how are you?" She asked.
" oh great! There's more coming though." I said as Ariana widened her eyes.
" what do you mean?!" She asked.
" there is already a ton of people here." She said looking around.
" try 8 more people." I said. " not including kids cause I don't even know if they are bringing their kids." I added.
" damn dude. Your family is huge."
" I know. Jason is crazy." I said smiling.
The doorbell rang so I went and got it.
" hi!" I opened it and it was aunt Karen with uncle Steve( her husband) and uncle Louie.
I invited them all in and we sat down.
" so how are things going?" Aunt Karen asked.
" good, really good actually. How is everything with you guys? I've missed you all." I Said sitting by uncle Louie.
" great great, guess what!" Uncle Louie said poking me.
" what?" I laughed.
" I got another dog! Her name is Chloe." He said getting his phone out.
Let me tell you about uncle Louie. He is a doctor and lives in New Mexico. He's crazy rich cause he's a single guy. He has an obsession with dogs and now has 6 dogs, but the cool thing is that he rescues them all, and when he has to travel on the road for his job he always brings them with him instead of leaving them home. He's a great guy just sorta sad he's not married.
" awe she's a cutie. Want to see the one Jason got me for my birthday?" I asked.
" oh sure!" Uncle Steve said.
" KARMA!" I whistled loud putting my fingers in my mouth.
Soon enough you heard the huge horse come piling in.
" she's huge! How old is she?"
" um about 2 months." I said as she jumped on me.
" 2 MONTHS? Wow."
" uncle Louie it's a Irish wolfhound she's gonna get bigger." I said laughing.
" I want to know how you learned to whistle like that." Aunt Karen asked.
" Jason taught me." I laughed.
" where is Jason? I haven't seen him in ages." Aunt Karen said.
" wait you've met him?" I asked.
" sweetie we all have." Uncle Steve said.
" oh. Umm well he's talking to grandpa." I said standing up.
" grandpa like papa grandpa?" Uncle Louie asked.
" yeah why?"
" we haven't talked to him since... The breakout I think." Uncle Louie said.
The doorbell rang again.
" I'll be back." I said walking over.
Alex, Mandy, Elliott, and Michael all were standing at the door.
" Hi!" I let them all in.
" Merry Christmas." I hugged them.
" Aye little McCanns house ain't to bad." Elliott came walking in.
" aye haven't seen you in a min. How you doing?" Elliott gave me a hug.
" I'm good Elliott, guys come in and eat." I said hugging him back and laughing.
Jason came walking in.
" aye jay! How you doin brotha!" Elliott walked over to him.
Then Mandy came over to me.
" oh my god you're starting to show! Are you excited?" I asked.
" a bit nervous but on the most part excited." Alex came over and wrapped his arms around her.
" so do they know when the birthday will be?" I asked.
" no but we are thinking in July." She said rubbing her stomach.
" awe I'm so happy for you two." I said smiling.
" hey princess can I talk to you for a second?" Jason came and whispered in my ear.
" yeah sure." I turned around and he held my hand leading me to his office.
" what's up?" I asked as he sat in his chair.
" I have a question..." Jason said.
" ask away." I sat on his desk in front of him.
" did your mother ever talk about divorcing Paul to you?" Jason asked.
" maybe once or twice why?"
" because umm... Well your grandfather told me they got a divorce a month before she died, but she didn't want you to not have anyone around so she made sure that he still lived in the house." Jason looked at me.
" so he never had custody over me?" I asked.
" no."
" and I could've kicked him out whenever I wanted?"
" uhh sure."
" and I don't have to feel guilty for killing my step father?"
" nope." Jason looked at me.
" what else did my grandfather tell you?" I asked.
" I'll tell you more later, let's get back to the party, but first." He stood up and put one hand on my cheek and the other on my back and started to kiss me.
" I needed to do that." Jason said backing up.
" yeah you did." I laughed and stood up.
We walked out and heard Elliott singing drummer boy.
"Oooo ready?" Jason grinned at me.
"Rum pa pa pum, rum pa pum pum pum pum.
Yeah I'm on the drum, yeah I'm on the snare drum.
Yeah I'm on the beat cause the beat goes dumb.
And I only spit heat cause I'm playin' for the Son.

Christmas time so here's a recital.
I'm so bad like Michael, I know I'm still young but I go I go.

I just looked at him in shock.
" what? I get bored when you sleep in car rides and plane rides." He said grinning.
" once again impressive McCann." I said walking over to my dad and uncle Louie.
" honey did you see his new dog?" My dad asked laughing.
" yeah dad." I laughed.
I saw my grandfather walking in so I walked over to him.
" grandpa wait!" I stopped him.
" yeah sweetie?" He asked.
" I have a question." I said sitting down.
" I have an answer."
" what was uncle Louie talking about when he said the big break out about seeing you and everything?" I asked.
" well..."
