Yamuna glared at Maya who was adamantly trying to convince her. The family had decided to leave for the thiruvila at Kanchipuram but Maya's doctor had advised her not to travel. Maya had decided to give some work related excuses and stay back. Yamuna wanted to stay back and give her company but Maya forced her to leave not wanting to raise doubts.
Yamuna: yen di ipadi Adam pudikara ?
Maya: athai mothalaya.. enaku odambu seri illa nu ellarum ninachutu irukanga.. ipa neenga pola na.. Mama uh vara mataru.. Mama pola na yarum poga matanga.. ellarum aasai ah kelambi irukanga athai.. enala keduka Venda..
Yamuna: athukunu una eppadi thaniya vitutu poga..
Maya: ayoo athai… nan enga thaniya irukan.. atha unga pethi irukala..
Yamuna: athu seri.. pethi nu mudiva panitiya ?
Maya: iva en vayuthula arathuku munadiya nan Mudivu panitan.. enaku ponu kolandha tha venum nu.
Yamuna: yen ?
Maya: neenga enaku amma va tha irukinga illa nu solala.. solavu matan.. ana amma iruntha nama family complete ah irukum.. atha amma va enaku paapa porakum nu aasai…
Yamuna caressed her hair and smiled, kissing her forehead.
Yamuna: un aasai padiya.. Ilavarasi ah ungaluku ponna porapa..
Maya smiled and hugged her, laying her head on her shoulders.
Maya: Seri athai.. unga best friend the enaku thona irukanga illa.. neenga poitu vanga..
Yamuna: Ava pudivatham uh kudava iruku.. she shook her head and noticed Maaran in his room and thought of something.
Yamuna: seri nan poran….
Maya nodded with a smile kissing her cheeks.
Yamuna noticed Maaran leaving the house and asked him to stop.
Maaran: solu ma ..
Yamuna: enna da ninachutu iruka ?
Maaran: enna ma enna aachu ?
Yamuna: epa paru moonjiya thooki vechuta iruka.. veetulaya iruka matingara enna ?
Maaran: illa amma.. konja naal thena iruka mudiyum atha friends kuda
Yamuna: Inga paru enavo panu.. ana Olunga evening vanthuru.. kanchipuram poganum..
Maaran: amma nan..
Yamuna: Inga paru vara matan athu ithunu sona.. adi vangiruva.. alu aluku varalanu solitu
Maaran: ellarum thena poratha soninga ?
Yamuna: illa Maya varala.. avuluku etho Vela irukan..
Maaran: oh..
Yamuna: ama.. ungala ona vitutu pona.. veedava rendu paniruvinga.. athu nala kelambu..
Maaran: illa nan ethuvum pesa matan.. ana enaku Vela iruku ma..
Yamuna: dei Ava mothalaya odambu seri ilama iruka.. nee sandai potu kasta paduthagha...
Maaran: yen enna aachu ?
Yamuna: ama apdiya romba akara iruka mari tha..
Maaran: maa ?
Yamuna: illa.. epavum sandai podra illa athai sona.. nee Inga irunthana… ava Koda sandai potu thirumba tired akiruva..
Maaran: amma nan ethuvum pesa matan.. apram odambu seri ilathavala vitutu epadi ellarum porathu.. enaku epadi irunthalum Vela iruku.. nan pathukaran..
Yamuna: yaru neeya ?
Maaran: pathukaran ma.. nambunga..
Yamuna acted to think for a few minutes and nodded.
Yamuna: Olunga pathukanum…
Maaran: seri ma
Yamuna nodded and once Maaran left the place she shook her head smiling.

Surya and Jaanu were roaming around the shops in front of the temple when Surya felt a tap on shoulder. Jaanu gasped looking Ajay in front of them but what he said next was a shocker for her.
Ajay: anaiku nee patuku solitu vanta.. nan enna nu ninakarathu..
Surya frowned but realizing their last meeting she smiled but not wanting to give in she eyed Jaanu. Ajay looked at Jaanu standing behind Surya with her casted arm.
Ajay: sorry da.. gavanikala.. Ipa paravalaya odambuku…
Jaanu: paravala mama.. nala iruku..
Ajay: cast epa remove pananum..
Jaanu: inum 10 days la.
Ajay: oh seri.. he turned to Surya.. ipa solu enna artham…
“ Ajay “
He turned to the voice to find their whole family had surrounded. He moved to speak to them and eyed Surya in between who was trying hard not to laugh at his situation.
Jaanu who noticed every exchange between them gasped in shock. The family had dragged Ajay to the temple while Surya stayed a silent spectator. Jaanu noticed all the tries Ajay was taking to speak to her and Surya completely acting as if she had noticed nothing. Whenever Ajay tried to speak to her Surya had teasingly avoided him giving lame excuses.
It was evening when Surya who was roaming around the shop saw Ajay walking to her. She looked around and found no one to save her and quickly tried to leave the place. Before she could run away he was quick to grab her wrist and pull her to him. She lost the balance with his pull and fell on his chest fisting his shirt.
Ajay held her waist in reflex from stopping her fall but was soon lost in her eyes that said some unspoken words between them. Surya blushed under his intense gaze before the duo was out of trance when they heard a distant voice of someone selling their product. Ajay left her and moved away and looked away with a small tint of blush.
Surya: enanu solunga… she said looking around.
Ajay: anaiku ethuku apdi sonanu solu..
Surya mentally face-palmed herself and sighed.
Surya: ungaluku epa puriyutho apa vanga solaran.. she said and before he could respond she started leaving the place.
Ajay: hey.. solitu po..
Surya: mudiyathu.. neengala yosichukonga..
Surya giggled and jogged out of the place but stopped when she saw Jaanu standing in front of her. She was glaring at her with her arm on her hips while Surya smiled sheepishly.
Jaanu: enna di nadakuthu Inga…
Surya smiled sheepishly and moved to her before pinching her cheeks.
Surya: bujuku bujuku bujuku..
Jaanu: hey intha di nilu..
She tried to stop Surya but she was quick to run away. Jaanu stood there shocked with all the happening but she was the happiest for her sister.
The family was gathered at the Madap of the temple when Ajay reached them to bid bye.
Rajavel: yen pa irunthutu polam illa ?
Ajay: illa mama.. nalaiku Madurai site la approval inspection iruku.. kandipa poganum atha..
Rajavel: oh seri apa pathu poitu va.. nangalum kalaila kelambiruvom.
Ajay: seri mama varen.
He bid bye to the whole family except Surya and finally looked at her with a look no one could understand except her. She knew the meaning of the look, he was taking revenge for not explaining to him and he looked cute while he did it. She softly chuckled without anyone noticing and watched him leave with a grumpy face.

Maaran was about to leave the house when he was called by one of the maids.
“ Sapda vanga thambi.. “
Maaran: illa akka enaku pasi illa..
“ Apdiya.. saptuninga na.. ella sutham panitu pola nu ninachan.. pullai ku vera odambu seri illa.. “
Maaran: apa kelambunha ka..
“ Illa pa.. velaya mudichuta poran.. “
Maaran: seri akka vanga.. eduthu veinga…
Maaran was about to have his first bite before he stopped and looked upstairs.
Maaran: akka..
“ Enna thambi”
Maaran: Maya saptala ?
“ Illa thambi.. “
Maaran: Ava nethu room vitu varala illa..
“ Ama thambi.. odambu seri illa nu ninaikaran.. paduthutan irukanga… Seri ah sapdavum illa…”
Maaran: oh seri ka.. neenga kelambunha nan pathukaran…
“ Illa thambi sutham pananum…. “
Maaran: Venda akka neenga ponga nan pathukaran….
The lady nodded and left the house before Maaran filled a plate with food and walked to Maya's room. The door was unlocked and when he got into the room his heart hurt watching her. She was curled into a ball and her face was pale enough to tell the pain she was undergoing. He looked around for a calendar and noticed it to be a week past her period's date. She might be late and that might have caused so much pain, he guessed it as it was usual for her. He left the room and returned back with a hot pack. He bent towards her and caressed her hair. As if sensing him she grabbed his hands and placed it under her cheeks as she continued to sleep. He wiped off the tears that threatened to spill out of his eyes and placed the hot pack on her abdomen. She frowned with hot contact but soon held it to herself and he noticed a small relief in her face. He sat there for sometime comforting her and left the room before she woke up.

Maya uncomfortably shifted on the couch unable to find a comfortable position. She was not feeling good from last night and she guessed it was something related to pregnancy. She tried her best to find comfort and sleep but failed until early morning.
Once she woke in the mid morning she noticed the hot pack and in the moment she knew it was him. Even when she was asleep she sensed him being around but mistook it for a dream. She bitterly smiled at their fate and complained about him to their baby girl for sometime. Once her baby girl growled out hunger she dragged her tired body to refresh and leave downstairs.
She had her lunch directly and with the first bite she knew it was him who made it. She silently ate a small amount of food but started feeling nauseous. She felt her back aching and uncomfortably settled on the couch of the living room. With passing time she felt her pain increase and at a point it scared her. She was fiddling with fingers when she noticed Maaran nervously leaving the house. She hesitated for a few seconds but her heart wanted him to be with her. Pushing away all the conflicts between them she stood up and moved to stand in front of him.
Maya: Maaran…
Maaran: enna aachu ethachu venum ah..
Maya: illa enga pora ?
Maaran: Athu.. Athu.. she noticed him unusually being nervous and hesitating..
Maya: yen nervous ah iruka ?
Maaran: onu ila nee solu..
Maya: enga pora nu ketan..
Maaran: Athu… athu oru emergency atha..
Maya: enachu ?
Maaran: onu illa..
Maya: romba emergency ah poiya aganum ah?
Maaran: ama.. yen kekara
Maya: enaku oru Mari bayama iruku.. kuda irukiya ?
Maaran: ethuku bayapadara enna aachu.. fever ah iruka ?
Maya: illa athu.. please romba mukiyam illa na en kuda iru..
He stared at her for a few seconds before he sighed and moved forward to cup her face. He guessed she would push away his hands but to his surprise she let him cup her face.
Maaran: Sorry paapa.. romba emergency ah poran.. poitu vanthu Ela solara.. nee konja neram Bayapadama iru… nan vantharan.. amma kuda kelambi romba neram aachu.. seekram vanthuruvanga… konja neram wait panu please.
Maya noticed him being nervous and knew something was really urgent to be attended. Convincing herself that nothing would go wrong in a short period of time she nodded her head. Maaran sighed before cupping her cheeks and kissing her forehead.
Maaran: careful ah iru.. rest edu.. vantharan.
He was about to leave but stopped with the hold on his wrist.
Maya: seekram vanthuru.. nanga wait panuvom..
Maaran: vantharan…
He spilled out and quickly jogged out of the room in urgency.
Maya tossed on the day bed on the lounge, she had started having unbearable pain for the past half an hour. Once after Maaran had left home, she started feeling abdominal cramps. She browsed about it and read it was normal. But with passing time she was feared out of unbearable pain. She convinced herself that it would be ok soon but with time it was worsening.
Deciding not to delay further she tried to reach her phone but found it missing near her. Spotting it on the couch she tried to move to grab it but felt a sharp pain and fell back on the bed. Her fear rose with each second and she somehow dragged herself to the couch. She settled on the couch fisting her tummy as her eyes welled up. Her breath went uneven as she tried to call Maaran. She hoped he would attend the call after the moment they shared before a couple of hours but her call went unanswered.
Maya: phone edu Maara.. ah..
She scrunched on the couch as her tears drenched her cheeks. She kept trying to connect with him but failed even after umpteenth time as she continued to sob in pain. After a few minutes she knew passing time was dangerous and sent him a voice note before she decided to leave for the hospital on her own. She managed to take a few steps to leave before her tired legs failed her. She fell back on the floor tightly clutching her abdomen not wanting to hurt her child. The last thing remembered was her mother looking at her with tear filled eyes and moving away from her before she blacked out.

Naveen kept ringing on the doorbell for a good five minutes but still did not get a response.He did not want to force himself on Maya after he knew the truth but unable to convince his mother he was there standing at her doorstep. He frowned when there was no response as his mother had informed him Maya was at home by the information she got from her family and forced him to take the sweets she had made for Maya. He looked around and found her car in the parking lot but still wondered about the no response. He sighed and headed to leave but stopped when he heard some murmurs inside the house. He tapped on the door but it opened, making him frown. He hesitantly walked into the house but panicked when he found Maya lying with half conscious on the floor.
Naveen: hey Maya..
He yelled for her and was quick to kneel beside her and lifted her torso to lean on his knee. She was murmuring something but he could not get a clear hearing of her words.
Naveen: Maya.. Maya look at me…
He tapped her cheeks a little harder to gain her consciousness but failed when she kept blabbering. He checked her pulse and looked at her shockingly and in time she partly opened her eyes.
Naveen: Maya enna aachu unaku ?
Maya: Nav..een .. nan itha first Maaran kita tha solanum romba aasai pata.. ana nadakala.. ipa solava mudiyama poirum oh nu bayama iru.. please.. please…
Naveen: Maya.. wake up wake up…
He harshly on her cheeks when she was again lossing sense. She managed to flutter open her eyes and looked at him tears flowing down.
Maya: Naveen Naveen you are .. a doctor right… he nodded… I am pregnant… ana konja neram ah romba pain ah iruku.. please Save my baby.. please enaku en paapa venum.. Naveen… please…
Naveen took a deep breath before he shook her head holding her cheeks to make her stay awake.
Naveen: i will do the need.. ana nee athuku calm ah irukanum… hold on to your consciousness please do that for your baby..
Maya nodded and tried hard to be awake while Naveen managed to carry her to the car and drove of the hospital.

Really sorry for not updating, i just couldn't make my mind to write the last part.. that was super hard but that was how it was planned so please forgive me. I also some personal reasons to delay the chapter hope you would understand. Next one would be a emotional on so give me some time to come up with it.
