Her last word turned into to a murmur as a spontaneous frown occupied her face when she found him in front of the cupboard searching for something. The whole room looked a mess with his dresses scattered all over the room.

Maaran did not reply but glared and moved back to the cupboard. Maya waited until he wore the shirt that was gifted by Yamuna and stopped him when he tried to leave.

He chided before he left the room, making her sigh.

Maya sighed when he stopped a little away from the main door and moved forward to him. Just when she was about to touch his shoulders she noticed some people getting into the house. Noticing that to be Naveen’s parents she moved forward to welcome them.

Maala caressed her cheek before Maya left them on the couch and called out for others.

There was complete silence soon after she broke the news and Rajavel stayed silent. Maya looked at Maaran in shock while he was already looking at her.

They bid bye and left the house while the house was silent for the next few minutes. Both Maaran and Maya stood silent trying to process the things that just happened.
Rajavel walked up to Maya and caressed her hair smiling at her.

Maya looked at Maaran for a second and hesitated to speak up while Yamuna moved to her side.

Maaran nodded with a smile and left the house while Maya sighed looking at the gift box and left upstairs.
By evening Maaran returned after being held with his friends who he met after a long time in the temple. Soon after reaching home he went in search of his father and found him in the backyard conversing with his own brothers.

He stomped his food in annoyance when Rajavel moved away and attended the call.
Rajavel: Solunga Mapalai.. he said as soon as he attended the call.

Rajavel had tears in his eyes, the words might be simple for any other person. But for him, this was a huge step in regaining Elango’s trust for him.

Maaran noticed his father smiling in tears whole heartedly but stood silent unable to talk for the reason he never knew.

Maaran was still silent, unable to figure out how he was going to say everything. He was there to talk to his father about his love but he was too excited to talk to him about marrying his love to someone. He had never seen his father this excited and eager for something and when he saw him today the way he was reacting now no word escaped his mouth.

Maaran stood there dumbfounded while
Rajavel tapped on his shoulders.

He said and tapped his shoulders before leaving a dumbfounded Maaran behind. Maaran was super annoyed with the situation that they were stuck in and cursed himself for not standing up for them. But to his unfortunate he was so bound to his father that he could not speak in front of him opposing his wish. He left the house cursing himself.
Maya kept looking at the doorway waiting for Maaran's arrival. She was not aware of his earlier visit and she was annoyed by him as he did not return even after she had asked him to return earlier.

She was worried but soon her stomach grumbled and she caressed her tummy under the dining table where they were having dinner.

Maya nodded and having dinner for her baby’s sake she left for her room.
Maaran walked out of the washroom wiping his hair with a towel when he noticed Maya getting into his room and locking the door behind.

Maya ambled to him and holding his forearm she turned him to her harshly with the little force she had after she had just emptied her stomach out of her morning sickness.

Maya chided in complete anger, she could not believe he was silent when his words were the most important. She was already dead tired and grumpy out of her morning sickness that made her mood sore. He stopped when he felt stinging pain on his cheeks by the effect of her slap. He held his burning cheeks and looked up to find her burning in her anger.

Maya's eyes were filled with tears but she was so sure of not letting it down definitely not in front of him who was the reason behind that tears.
At the same time, Maya's mobile started ringing. She stood there staring at him for a few seconds before she attended the call.
Maya: solu appa..
Elango: yen da kural oru Mari iruku..
Maya glared at Maaran: ipa tha appa eluntha atha ?
Elango: oh seri da refresh agitu kupdraya ?
Maya: illa appa ipava solunga..
She knew the reason for the call but still after whatever Maaran had done she wanted to continue the call.
Elango: seri da.. mama kuptu iruntharu pa.. Unaku alliance vanthu irukunu sonaru… Unaku ishtam nu tha avuru sonaru.. ana nana kekanum tha call pana.. Nee solu payana pathu iruka.. unaku palakam nu mama sonaru... nala alliance nu tha othukitan.. unaku pudichu iruka.. open ah solu da..
Maya stood there glaring at him with a lot of thoughts running in her mind. Elango waited for a few minutes, knowing she needed some time to process her thoughts.
Elango: Nee venum na yositu kupdu da..
Maya: Illa appa… Mama kita seri nu solirunga..
She said looking at Maaran in anger while he looked at her with wide eyes.
Elango: sure ah da..
Maya: Sure pa… seri nu solunga..
Elango happily accepted and soon disconnected the call. Maya looked at him as if she would burn him with her look before she left the room.
Maaran smashed the nearby glass vase on the floor that broke into small pieces piercing his palm in the process. He stomped the floor gritting his teeth and stood there running his fingers in locks frustrated. Janu who passed his room found him with blood stains and ran to him in panic before altering others and taking him to the hospital.
