Madan smiled as he cupped her face and placed a strong kiss on her forehead.

Madan’s eyes welled up reflecting hers as he hugged her to his chest. They stayed in silence as Madan kept caressing her hair while Jenny silently played with his shirt buttons.
Madan: Jenny.. he called out after sometime before she looked up at him with raised eyebrows.

Jenny nodded with a smile after two long days before they were called into the house for breakfast.

Maaran hummed as he walked into the dining room and found all the cousins' gang settled on the table while Maya was serving them. He silently walked towards her and pinched her waist making her squeal and jump in her place while he silently moved away from her.

Maya glared at Maaran who suppressed his laughter.

Maya chuckled while he glared at her rolling his eyes.

She announced as she eyed Aadhavan who's face turned dull which did not go unnoticed by Maaran and Maya.

He said earning a sigh from Maya and a teasing throat clear from Madan and Aadhavan.

The next day, all the rituals of adopting Jenny took place but her grandfather was unable to visit them. Rajavel and Yamuna signed the legal adoption papers at the temple, making Jenny emotional. As Madan had already spoken to his parents and Rajavel they agreed to postpone the marriage halfheartedly. By evening, when Maaran, Maya accompanied them to the bus stop both Jenny and Madan had warned the duo not to delay the truth of their love to their family, while Maya agreed.
The other family members had also left the house early in the morning on Sunday. Maaran sighed as he had finally got some alone time with her and left for her room after sending off all the workers at home.
Maaran huffed when he found her sleeping on the bed curled up. He locked the door and silently moved to lay beside her. Sensing him she moved to lay on him and continued to sleep. For the first ever time after they came to Madurai, he felt a peace when she was in his arms. All these days even when they were together, fear of someone watching them together was always in the corner of their heart. He knew she also felt the same and with a peace of heart he kissed her hair who snuggled into him and fell asleep.
Maaran woke up to the sound of water running and sat up on the couch when she returned back, wiping her face with a towel.

Maya hummed with a smile before she pulled him closer to her, holding his shirt and sniffling it.

Maya did not pay heed to his warning and threw the stand aiming on the mango. She frowned when she could not trace the stone before she straddled hearing him yell. Maya panicked finding him whining in pain holding his eyes and ambled to him.
Maya: Paapa enna aachu…
She tried to take look at his eyes but he restricted and jumped in his place in pain.
Maaran: nan tha sona illa....amma..
Maya: ayoo paapa nan antha side thena potan..

She forcefully pulled his arms only to find no wound.

Maya pulled him down and checked his eyes before blowing some air. She gasped when Maaran suddenly stood up causing their lips to peck. Maya took a few seconds to realize before she glared at him who was laughing the holding his stomach.

She searched for something and got a stick before she started chasing him. He laughed as he ran across the groove while she chased him asking him to stop.
Maya dashed on his chest when he suddenly stopped and turned, causing them to fall back on the ground. Maaran smirked when she tried to get up from him and hugged her around her waist holding her close to him.

They heard a voice and stood up straddled and Maaran glared at Murali, the one who had troubled Maya on her first day of visit. Maaran moved to stand before Maya when he noticed the other men eyeing on her unruly clothes.

A hard blow landed on his stomach and before he knew it he was on the ground and Maaran was stamping his other arm making him scream in pain.
Maaran: nee ella thirunthava mata illa.. he bent forward and twisted the broken arm.. anaiku kaal la vilunthu kenjuna naal ah thena Kai oda vitan.. ipa enna thairiyathula Inga vanthu nikara..
Maaran twisted his arms making him yell and Maya flinch at the site.
Maya: Maara vidu avana ..

She pulled him away and Maaran racked his fingers along his hair trying to calm.
Maya: hey ipa kuda avunukaga tha una vida solara.. Olunga mariyathaya Inga irunthu poiru... Inum oruka nee enga kanula pata.. uyir oda thirumba mata.
Murali groaned in pain as he stood up holding his arms and death stared at the duo.
Murali: neenga eppadi santhoshama vazharinha nu nan pakaran…
Maaran tried to hit him but Maya stopped holding him and pulling him.

Murali glared at them as he walked out of the place before Maaran huffed in annoyance.
