a giddy smile was on your face as you, mountain, and rain all walked into the woods to your favorite clearing.
mountain was smiling fondly as you and rain spoke happily, planning all the things the three of you were going to do and talk about, even though you all knew that you weren't going to stick to the plan.
you smiled happily as the three of you entered the moonlit clearing.
it was big, though it was mostly taken up by a small lake, big to be a pond. the moon shining down made everything look all the more ethereal.
you smiled and unfolded the blanket you had, laying it out in the grass and taking the picnic basket from mountain.
within moments, everything was set out perfectly and you were smiling down at what you had accomplished.
"it's perfect, love," mountain smiled, pressing a kiss to your head as he sat down. rain sat down next, dipping his tail into the water so his bioluminescence would light up the picnic the three of you were about to have. you grinned and sat down, immediately going at your favorite fruit.
within two hours, you were on your back looking up at the night sky, staring at all the stars as the two ghouls cuddled into you. to be fair, mountain was more on top of you than not, but you didn't mind.
"are you comfy, dove?" rain asked as he looked up at the stars with you as well. you gave a soft hum, immediately kick starting a purr in mountain's chest as he felt the vibration of your voice against his face.
the night was peaceful, and with your two ghouls so close and one of them purring, it was inevitable that you would fall asleep.
rain smiled as he watched you start to drift off, your eyes fluttering shut. "goodnight, dove," rain whispered, kissing your cheek before he pressed a kiss to mountain's head.
"night, skyscraper," rain grinned. mountain chuckled softly, his tail flicking over and wrapping around rain's waist, pulling him closer to you.
