Huang Dewei has been taking those magic pills for ten days now and he could feel changes happening. His head had been hurting for the past few days but today he felt even worse. His body was burning indicating fever. He felt like vomiting but nothing was coming out, his body was hunting and today early in the morning, when he woke up, he definitely got a fever.
He was feeling cold as if he covered himself properly with the blanket when there was a knock on his door. The door opened and Huang Dewei slowly sat up on the bed with throbbing pain and an irritated heart. He looked up towards the door where Wang Lei had entered. Wang Lei looked at him and ran towards him with a worry-filled expression.
Huang Dewei always comes to work at Wang Lei's office chamber since he was still his bodyguard early in the morning after his training but today Wang lei kept waiting but he never came. He got disquieted and anxiously decided to check on him. Wang Lei's gaze fell on his red pale face as his condition does not look well to Wang Lei. He sat down on the bed in front of him and got hold of his burning-hot face.
'What's wrong?' Wang Lei asked distraughtly
'Nothing, I am just not feeling well.' Huang Dewei replied
'Shall I get a doctor for you?' Wang Lei said stressed and troubled over his condition. He does not look well at all. His hand was on Huang Dewei's burning-hot cheek as they looked at each other.
'No, I will be fine.' Huang Dewei replied carelessly
'You don't look fine to me. I think we should get a doctor.' Wang Lei said still very concerned regarding his awful condition.
'No, I will rest and I will be fine.' Huang Dewei replied back as he was getting annoyed now. He was feeling well and he can't go to doctor because the doctors might realised why he was like this and he can't risk Wang Lei finding out about pearl magic.
'No, I still think calling the doctor is a better option.' Wang Lei said stubbornly because he wanted doctor to check him out and give me medicine since his condition was not looking good.
'I said No...I am fine. Why do you keep making me repeat it?' Huang Dewei shouted frustrated and vexed and Wang Lei was a little taken aback by his sudden outburst while Huang Dewei knew he could feel changes happening inside him due to magic pills. He thoughts he can keep control but the pill's effects were more substantial than he excepted. He was already feeling physically changing and emotionally. He was getting angry and irritated over small things without a reason. Even now Wang Lei said nothing with bad intentions.
'Okay, Calm down. I am only concerned for you.' Wang Lei said as he tried to stay calm. He was getting suspicious of Huang Dewei's changing behavioural. Wang Lei had been noticed changing him in the past few days but today it was a little too extreme.
'Well, you are annoying me...I want to be alone so just go from here.' Huang Dewei snapped sharply leaving Wang Lei even more stunned.
'Weiwei...' Wang Lei whispered appalled
'Just leave me alone and get out of here.' Huang Dewei said in the same cold annoyed voice and Wang Lei was stunned but he said nothing in response. Huang Dewei was not feeling well so he must be feeling irritated hence he does not want to bother him too much even though he was little hurt by his behavioural.
'I will send Cheng with food and home remedy medicine and if you need anything just let him know.' Wang Lei said keeping the same soft tone and Huang Dewei said nothing as he laid back down on the bed. He closed his eyes. Wang Lei looked at him for a few seconds then sighed and got out of the room.
Cheng came after a few minutes with food and medicine. Huang Dewei took the medicine and try eating food which he could and went back to sleep. Cheng kept coming once in a while the whole day and took care of him. Huang Dewei knew that whatever he was doing was on Wang Lei's order and by the end of the night, he was feeling guilty for his behavioural in the morning with Wang Lei. However, his condition was still the same or more like it was actually getting worse.
Huang Dewei had a few bits from his dinner and put away the soup-filled bowl at the side of the table when there was a knock on his door. He looked up as Wang Le entered inside and deep down Huang Dewei felt happy upon seeing him. Wang Lei walked towards him and without a word he put a hand over his burning forehead.
'You are still burning hot.'
'I will be fine.' Huang Dewei said as he gently moved away his hand from his forehead and made him sit down on the bed in front of him. Wang Lei was relieved upon seeing him less annoyed right now.
'Well, if your condition worse tomorrow then I am calling the doctor and I don't care what you say.' Wang Lei said as he warned him and this time Huang Dewei said nothing. He just stares at him then moved forward and hugged him tightly. He missed him. He himself felt like a mess right now for acting like this while Wang Lei was pleasantly surprised.
'Well, what's up with your mood swings? In the morning you will be annoyed at me and now you are a completely different person. Am I dreaming?' Wang Lei said as he complained while a smile was playing on his lips. Huang Dewei just tighten his hug as he closed his eyes. His embrace was warm...it filled Huang Dewei's heart with satisfaction.
'I apologise for my rude behavioural in the morning.' Huang Dewei apologised and Wang Lei moved and hugged him back as he was smiling.
'You are already forgiven.' Wang Lei replied as they both were smiling when there was a knock. Wang Lei looked at the door and was expecting Huang Dewei to move away but he did not. Usually, Huang Dewei doesn't like to show affection and intimacy in front of others. He said nothing as he let the person standing at the door walk inside. Cheng walked towards them as he greeted them and then he looked at Wang Lei.
'Your highness, your father wanted to see you in his chamber.' Cheng said as he gave Wang Wei orders and Wang Lei just nodded his head. Cheng greeted him and walked out when Huang Dewei looked up towards him.
'Don't go.' Huang Dewei said and Wang Lei was taken back. He never acts like this. He never gets this clingy and if he knew his father is calling him he never stops him. He never gets between his family matter.
'I will go and quickly come back.' Wang Lei gently as he tried talking Huang Dewei into it while he shook away his head rapidly.
'No, don't go.' Huang Dewei said like a stubborn kid as he moved and put his head back on his chest. As much as Wang Lei was enjoying of him being a kid he still have to go and listen to his father. He wanted to spend all of his time with Huang Dewei but he can not ignore his father either.
'Weiwei...please.' Wang Lei whispered softly as he asked for permission and Huang Dewei looked towards him while pouting like a kid. Wang Lei lovingly stares at him.
'I will be back as quick as I could.' Wang Lei said as tried once again for him to let go of him and Huang Dewei stares at him for a few seconds then nodded his head but he still had not let go of him. Wang Lei patiently waited while Huang Dewei moved forward and grabbed the soft white flash of his neck between his lips. Wang Lei was not expecting anything like this as his eyes widen while Huang Dewei closed his eyes as sucked on the sweet spot of his neck. His warm lips felt like an electrical current on Wang Lei's skin as he closed his eyes. It felt good...Wang Lei thought when he felt his teeth and Huang Dewei bite him.
'Ahhh...Weiwei...' Wang Lei screamed with a mix of pain and pleasure as Huang Dewei moved away and let go of him.
'Quickly go and come back. I will wait for you.' Huang Dewei said as he laid back down on the bed and Wang Lei touched his neck which had a red bite mark now. Huang Dewei and his biting Wang Lei's neck will never get old. That was the most random act Huang Dewei does to Wang Lei without ever giving him a warning..biting him on his neck...Wang Lei had no idea what is his obsession with biting his neck, but he does not mind. Wang Lei could not help as he smile and then nodded his head. He stood up and with one last love-filled gaze at him, Wang Lei walked out.
Wang Lei walked from his chamber towards his father's residence. He reached his room chamber and breath in and out as he knocked on the door. He wonders why his father called him late at night when he entered inside and his gaze fell on Xin Ying and her father who was sitting next to his father. By their presence, he knew the night was going to be long and not very good. He greeted all of them who greeted him back as he sat down in front of them. He did not even spare of gaze towards Xin Ying since he was still pissed about the other night. He does not care what she says to him but he definitely was angrier that she hurt Huang Dewei.
'Did you call for me father?' Wang Lei started off the conversation.
'Yes, I called you here to ask when are you going to give us the next Emperor. It is your duty and you can't make Xin Ying just sit here with nothing.' Wang Wei started off the conversation and Wang Lei sighed since he knew that would be the conversation after seeing Xin Ying and her father sitting next to his father.
'I still need some time. I believe she just had such a hard miscarriage so she needs to rest as well.' Wang Lei replied keeping his calm however, the miscarriage part was a taunt towards Xin Ying which only she understood it.
'Well, she said she is ready now.' Her father Li Qiang said
'I am not ready yet.' Wang Lei straight out denied it which was the first time ever he has done it. He always says he will try and finished the topic but today he does look a little different. However, Xin Ying why he was behaving like this. One thing he knew was that she never had a miscarriage which broke his trust and second he was still irked with her about their last conversation where she said too much to Huang Dewei.
'Well that is not a good excuse, It is already being a year since you two got married. You should have given Emperor to Wang Dynasty by now.' Wang Wei said as he tries to make Wang Lei understand that he needed to try again. It was not hidden from them that Wang Lei had not even once been to Xin Ying's room since her miscarriage or more like since Huang Dewei became his concubine. He was always in Huang Dewei's room and the whole palace knew that. He does not even sleep in his own room much now. He always found in Huang Dewei's room and that was making Li Qiang vexed and Wang Wei annoyed as well. He was fulfilling his sexual needs with Huang Dewei and was neglecting everyone else. As much as everyone thought that being with Huang Dewei was just a phase for Wang Lei, Wang Lei was proving them wrong. Nobody can deny that Huang Dewei was an extremely beautiful magnificent man...if the chance was given, even Wang Wei and Li Qiang would love to sleep with him...he was such a beauty, but he was still a male. A useless male without a talent for giving birth.
