Scarlets POV
I got off the flight and looked for my duffle bag. I really need to go shopping. I grabbed it and walked towards the doors to leave. I hauled a taxi and got in.
"Where are you headed miss." He asked.
I knew this address by heart. I hope he still lived there. I gave the man his address and he drove off. We finally arrived at the huge family home and a smile appeared on my face.
"Thank you sir." I said and gave him his pay.
I got out and walked towards the house. I remember all the memories from this house. I looked up at the tree and smile widely as I saw the old tree house still there. We always used to sneak around. I walked up to the door and rang the door bell. I tapped my foot while I waited for someone to answer.
Finally the blue eyed boy I fell in love with years ago came to the door. He looked into my eyes and a huge smile appeared on his face. He looked so different. His hair is so long. I like it.
"Hey stranger." I smirked.
"Scarlet!" He exclaimed.
"It's nice to see you again. How long has it been 2 years?" He said with a cheeky smile.
"Hey Nashty!" I laughed.
"Your hair is shorter." He said to me.
"Yeah thought it was time for a change." I said not only referring to my hair.
"Well I really like it." He smiled.
"I missed you so much!" He exclaimed and pulled me into a hug. {a/n he's so cute to her omg it hurts.}
"Wanna come in?" He asked.
"If I'm not intruding on anything." I said with a small smile.
"Of course not my mom would be happy to see you." He exclaimed and grabbed my arm and pulled me inside.
The word mom made my shoulders slouch.
"Mom!" He yelled.
"Who was at the door?" She asked.
Her voice was still the same from last time.
"Come down here!" He yelled.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and his mom appeared.
"oh my gosh!" She exclaimed.
She was like my second mom I would spend all my time here with Nash epically when my parents were fighting.
"Hi!" I said with a huge smile.
"Scarlet Steel is that really you?" She asked.
I nodded and she walked over to me and embraced me.
"How's your mom?" She asked.
My stomach churned and a lump formed in my throat. She pulled away and looked at me. I couldn't help but let the small tear fall. I felt even worse that they weren't even invited.
"Um my mom passed away 2 weeks ago." I spoke.
"What!" She exclaimed.
"I would've invited you but it was my dads job to create the funeral I'm sorry." I sighed.
"I'm so sorry honey." She sighed.
"It's alright." I said softly.
"You want some coffee it's pretty early." She smiled.
"Um sure." I said with a polite smile.
Nash rubbed my back. He guided me to the kitchen.
"Nash I remember where your kitchen is." I laughed.
"I missed your laugh." He said softly.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothin." He said softly.
