phoenix stormed into the jail, ready to force kristoph to talk or to punch him in the face, however when he got their, the cell was empty, the security guard walked up to him and shook his head, not allowing him to enter
'Sorry sir. Prisoner Kristoph Gavin is currently "occupied"'
phoenix glanced at the empty cell, then back at the cop, fixing him with a hard, judging glare
'when while he be finished?'
the guard awkwardly scratched the back of his neck
'Ah, erm, well---'
'Go find out!!!'
phoenix yelled, the man jumped but quickly nodded
'Ah... Certainly, sir. Please wait here a moment'
and with that, he ran off, far away from him, phoenix rolled his eyes as he did the exact opposite and walked right in, exaiming the jail cell
"why the fuck is he allowed this luxury shit in a fucking jail cell?!!, that asshole literally fucking murdered someone!!"
phoenix glared at the bookshelf, but then his eyes trailed to the little table next to the chair, he grinned as he read it and opened up his contents
"There it is. The yellow envelope! And the sender is Drew Misham! I was right!"
Phoenix quickly took out his pen and notebook, ripping out a blank page as he began to copy the contents of the letter onto the ripped-out page
"If this is the last letter that Drew Misham wrote...."
he finished matching the letter to his page, the writing was similar enough, and it was the same ink pen, after he was done with that, he took out the spray and glasses, examing the evidence closely in his hands
"this was Drew Misham's "messenger of death". It was this stamp, And his last letter was sent to Gavin"
phoenix grinned as he read over the letter once more, double-checking everything, his plan was full-proof now
"Fucking Finally ...decisive evidence!"
he barely heard the doors open, it was only when he heard a voice did he turn his head
'...What's this? A burglar... in jail?'
he shot his head up to see kristoph, though he looked and seemed completely un-bothered, phoenix could tell he was not happy to see him, and neither was he,
'I didn't know you moonlighted in larceny, Wright'
'i do whatever the fuck i want gavin, and there's something i wanna ask you about'
Kristoph fixed up his glasses as he stared into phoenix's eyes, his composure and looks seemed to be calm, but his eyes were telling a different story
'"Can I steal your stuff"? The answer is "no". My apologies, but there's not much I care to discuss-
'i don't gave a fuck about you want gavin, Vera Misham hasn't received her verdict yet, You follow me, Gavin?'
he growled out as he fixed up his fingerless gloves, kristoph simply shrugged
'There are no known survivors of atroquinine poisoning. But it never hurts to hope'
Phoenix stared him down, but even knew their was nothing he could dom ..for now anyways
'ugh, fine, I'll leave, go back to fucking reading with your shitty books"

'Would you mind leaving that letter? ...It's private'
Phoenix glared and slapped it into his hand, very hard, kristoph glance down at it, then back up at him

Phoenix flipped him off with his middle finger and shoved the guards aside, giving them nasty looks
"privacy my fucking ass gavin..."
when he gout of the jail house, he smirked as he flipped to his notebook, perfectly beautifully written of the mail letter

phoenix closed up his notebook
'..and that's what i gathered from my investigation'
apollo wasn't sure on what to think, he had so much to say, yet he couldn't think of anything to say, a million thoughts went through his mind yet he couldn't see between any of them, he had just found ou that his first-ever silent was actually zak gramarye, that trucy was his half-sister, and that gavin was the one responsible for the disbarment of Joshua poppet, phoenix noticed his reaction and gently patted his shoulder
'..this was a lot of take in, ..you did good listening apollo'
apollo nodded
'..t-thank you Mr wright'
'..you should go home and rest, ..clear your head, ..it's not good to stress too much, ..bad for your health'
he nodded again, ..he really needed a break right now, today was crazy, and tomorrow was court day, ..but at least now he knew everything
