Before Her Story Began

Chapter 18

Adriana's POV

"Okay class I hope you had fun at recess. I saw all of you playing a fun game of kickball. But now it's time for our practice test. One person from each table please come up and grab 4 dividers. The test will have material from 1st all the way up to 5th grade. Don't be discouraged if you don't understand something just put a question Mark next to it and guess the answer. Don't leave anything blank. Draw a line where you stop understanding the material. Any questions"

"How much time do we get" Megan asked

"60 minutes"

I grabbed the dividers for my table and sat in my seat waiting for him to distribute the test.

"When you get your test you can begin. Remember no talking"

Once I got my test I started zooming through the questions. Before I knew it I was in the 5th grade section.

"Barf, short answer" I said to myself

"Adriana no talking" I rolled my eyes at Mr. Moore

It took around 15-20 minutes for me to complete the short response and essay questions

Once I was finished I grabbed my test and walked to the front. I placed the booklet on Mr. Moore's desk

"If you don't understand leave it on your desk til the end or try to complete it" he handed the test back to me

"I answered every question already. The test was too easy" I placed it back on his desk

"It's only been 40 minutes"

"I'm aware I can tell time. I spent 15 on the first half then took a 2 minute break. Then I completed the rest in around 20"

"Well look over it"

"I spent 2 minutes double checking"

"So if I check this it'll be a perfect score" he asked

"Most likely"

"If you get all of them correct you get to choose a prize for being a super star. If one is wrong you double check" he said

"Sure"

After around ten minutes he spoke

"Well Adriana give me a high five and go choose your prize" he cheered

I giggle and jumped up to high five him

"You're a little genius! I hope you're willing to help out your classmates when they have trouble. You can be my little teaching assistant"

"That sounds awesome"

I grabbed a rubicks cube

"So for now you can sit at your desk and play with your prize. But it goes in your bag when time is up. It's only for free time"

"Okay"

I went to my seat and started solving my puzzle. I liked that instead being a butthole he praised me for being smart. Other teachers I had would get mad and call mom saying I was being difficult.

After time ran out he collected the tests and we lined up to go find a club

Once downstairs we were free to explore different booths

"I'm gonna join Girl Scouts again" Bernadette took off

"Wait up! We said we'd join together" Megan yelled

"Are you come Adriana" Abby asked

"No Girl Scouts isn't something I'm interested in" I admitted
