Chapter 3

Adriana's POV

My stupid cast is finally off so I can do gymnastics and judo again.

"Hey Alek" I barge into his office like I always do

"Adriana how many times have I told you to knock" he asked calmly

"Too many times to count"

"Now try that again but knock this time" I groan and leave

*Knock knock*

"Come in"

"Hey Alek"

"What's up JJ"

"Can you start showing me cool stuff now that my cast is off"

"Sorry I can't"

"But you promised" I frowned

"Sit down I needed to talk to you anyways. You already know I lead the Russian mafia and even though you're my child a girl you can't take over. Now we're training Nikolai to take over. Well now my grandfather and Dimitri's want to see Nikolai's progress. As my daughter he's going to expect you not to speak out of turn along with complete and utter respect. I know that's going to be difficult for you but please be on your best behavior. He comes tomorrow so I will be focused on Nikolai"

"Can I just stay in my room" I groaned

"Sorry kid I already asked" he joked and I giggled

"If you're the leader why can you just let me take over"

"He's still my grandfather and he's kind of a legend he took over at 14 after his father was murder. Even at such a young age he was fierce and strategic. He singlehandedly carried our family back to the top. Everyone respects him so although I'm leader he has a greater influence"

"So all I have to do is impress him and I can take over"

"No! Where you even listening? No scheming just behave"

"Fine"

"Also he's all about respect so he'll expect you to call me father, dad or anything along those lines. Just do it while he's here then you can stop"

"Sure thing dad"

"Also my mom is taking you dress shopping in a bit so get dressed"

"No"

"Excuse me" he asked sternly

"You heard me Im not shopping or wearing a dress"

"You have to and I wasn't asking" he got up

"I bite" I threatened

"And I bite harder" he rolled his eyes

He picked me up and I bit his shoulder and to my surprise he bit my arm

"Ow" I rubbed my arm

"Told you. Now get dressed and be downstairs in 30 minutes"

"Yes sir" I whined

After a very long trip to the mall

We got home around an hour ago and we're eating dinner now

"How was the mall" Dimitri asked

"Absolutely awful! She wouldn't even try on clothes" grandma exclaimed

"You know my clothing size so why do I have to try it on" I asked

"She's a little boy in disguise" Aleksandr laughed

"So you didn't find anything"

"I didn't say all that now. She has gorgeous dresses for everyday that Vlad and Viktor are here and then some"
