Damon's POV

Naglakad lakad ako dito sa tabing dagat. It's already evening and they are all happily celebrating my cousin's wedding.

I held my glass with beer.

I still can't believe that it's already over.

I got the justice that my family is longing for some years. It's a happily ever after for Stephanie.

I looked at the sky.

Hindi ko napansin na napalayo na pala ako sa beach resort na pagmamay ari nina Titus.

Nilagok ko ang natitirang laman ng baso when I heard someone screaming.

"Tulong!" Napatingin ako sa direksyon ng boses. It's a girl. Nakayapak ito at mabilis na tumatakbo. She's wearing a beach dress.

Napakunot ang noo ko nang may makitang mga lalake na humahabol dito.

It's not my usual self to help someone especially a girl aside from princess, but there is something inside me telling me that I should interfere.

Mabilis akong lumapit sa babae. Nabigla pa ako. She's actually very pretty.

"Help me please" pagmamakaawa nito. Tears are streaming down her pretty face. I felt the urge to protect her.

Hinila ko ang braso nito at inilagay sa likod ko.

I felt her trembling.

"Pre, ibalato mo na sa amin yan"

Wika ng isa sa mga lalake na nakakulay puti na sando. Mga bisita marahil sa kabilang resort. Bale tatlo silang humahabol sa babaeng ito.

"What do you think you are doing here? This area is off limits" malamig na wika ko.

"Gusto lang naman namin makilala yang babaeng hawak mo. Teka nga, sino ka ba? Kami ang unang nakakita sa babaeng yan. Humanap ka na lang ng sayo" wika ng lalaking nakahubad ang damit.

"Please, wag mo akong ibibigay" I heard the girl said.

I looked at them and gave a Dangerous look. Mabilis kong inilabas ang baril ko and aimed it at them. Agad na bumaha ang kaba sa mukha nila.

"Damon, Damon Forteza. A very dangerous man and this girl" hinila ko ang babaeng hawak ko at inakbayan "This girl is mine. So back off!"
