"(Y/N)? HEY, WAKE UP.."
You groaned in response, and turned your body away. "Don't be like that, come on.." Genya poked at your sides causing you to squirm and eventually woke you up. "Genya..." you murmured in annoyance. "We're headed to the hot springs remember?" Your eyes peeled open to see your boyfriend sitting next to you.
"Come on get up!" He took your arms and pulled you up from your comfortable position on the futon. "It'll be good for you, y'know.." he added causing you to roll your eyes in a playful manner. It's true, you needed to relax your muscles from all the training and missions you've been going on and a relaxing day at the hot springs was all you needed.
Genya stood up and you lazily followed. "Okay, okay, lemme just get ready." You brushed your hair and slipped on your uniform before finally making it out the door and heading to the hot springs. As the both of you walked, Genya had his hands shoved deep into his pockets and avoided the gazes of the villagers that walked by. Everyone knew the both of you were together but sometimes people would doubt it due to the fact that Genya never once showed public affection since he was never comfortable with it in the first place.
You respected it of course but sometimes you wished he could at least hold your hand as you took leisurely walks. You giggled quietly "I think this hot spring would be better for you. You look so tense." Genya shot you an angry pout and you couldn't help but let another giggle leave your lips.
After five minutes of walking, you finally made it to the hot springs. Genya quickly slipped his uniform off, revealing his scarred but toned body. A blush crept into your cheeks, even after seeing him half naked all the time, you just couldn't help but stare. "Hey, what're you starin' at?!" He asked, snapping you out of your trance. "O-oh sorry,"
Genya then stripped off his pants and socks before dipping into the hot pool of water. You stood there staring at the steam emitting from the pool, sort of anxious of stripping in the open. Genya cupped some water in his hands and splashed it onto his face. He noticed you weren't in the water and so he raised his head from his hands and looked over to you. "Hey? Why aren't you getting in?"
You had already removed your socks and your toes gripped the edge of the rock. "I uh.. I'm embarrassed.." you told him with an anxious smile. "Embarrassed?" He raised a brow "of what?" He saw how you hugged yourself tightly the moment those words left his mouth. He then stood up and got out of the water to the steps of the pool. "Hey, talk to me." There it was, the affectionate and loving Genya you knew.
You swallowed the lump in your throat before meeting his curious eyes. "M-my.. body.." you croaked, eyes immediately darting down to the floor. Genya was hit with the sudden realization that he never saw you without any clothing. Well, it wasn't something he expected but going for a swim was something you both never really got to do and so it never crossed his mind. A blush formed on his cheeks at the thought but he shook his head out of the gutter.
"Sorry.." you whispered and he realized he was quiet for too long. "No,no, it's okay." He said, taking your hand in his. "You don't have to worry because you'll always be beautiful no matter what.." he added and although he was too shy to say it out loud, he did and that's what got you to smile. "R-really?" You piped up, "Of course." He looked away, an obvious blush on his cheeks.
"O-okay.." and so you cautiously slipped your clothes off your body and Genya kept his eyes away, respecting your privacy. When you fully removed your clothes, you dipped your body into the water, the warm feeling engulfing you in relaxation.
"Ahh.." you sighed in relief and sinking your body further down. Genya turned around and saw you with a relaxed expression and your also very bare shoulders and chest.
A few moments pass and you were completely comfortable with being alone with Genya and just relaxing for the day. "Hey," you called after noticing he had been rather quiet for a while. You then moved over to him and placed your hand on his shoulder. He then quickly spun around and your eyes locked. "You okay?" You managed to breath out.
"I-uhm.. y-yeah.." he stuttered, catching you by surprise. You raised a brow and moved a little closer "d-don't come any closer!" He suddenly said, causing you to stop. "What's wrong?"
His eyes darted away before shyly meeting yours again. "Nothings wrong but I.." he sighed in frustration.
"You're just really beautiful, (Y/n) and your beauty is breathtaking! And.. I don't know how to keep my hands off you after seeing you like this."
Your eyes widen slightly followed by a wide smile. "Thanks Genya.." you noticed his anxiousness but moved closer anyway. "Hey, we came here to relax right? Then let's relax." Your bodies were submerged in water as you slung your arms over his shoulders. Genya then hesitantly rested his hands on your hips to pull you a little closer.
"Did I ever tell you how handsome you are?" You cooed and a red line rose from his chin to his forehead as if it was a thermometer causing you to laugh loudly. "(Y-Y/n)!" He exclaimed, retracting his hands from your hips and burying his face into them. After a few seconds you removed his hands from his face and threw yourself onto him with a kiss.
After remembering he wasn't one for public display of affection, you quickly pulled yourself away. "S-sorry I forgot." A nervous chuckle left your lips before Genya suddenly crashed his lips onto yours once more. It didn't last very long but when you opened your eyes, Genya had a genuine smile on his face. "What?" you giggled and he took a hold of your hand and raised it to his lips.
"It's nothin' you're just really pretty and I'm glad we came here today.. so yeah"
"Pfft.. I'm glad we came here too."
