All Grown Up, Luke and Mia's SNOW DAY!

LUKE'S AGE: 15

MIA'S AGE: 14

Mia's POV:

"It's really coming down out there." I said to Luke.

"I know! I hope the snow sticks so that we are off school." He explained, "Maybe I will get to stay the night if we do." Luke flirted while gripping my waist as we looked out the window.

"If we were to, you wouldn't be getting anything." I teased.

"Oh, but I think I would." He kissed my cheek.

"Can we start on homework just in case?" I asked him.

"Please, Mia. Rule number one of being in high school is you don't do your homework until it is at least 11:00 at night. And if there is a chance you won't have school the next day, you don't do it at all." Luke told me.

I rolled my eyes. "But if we do have to go to school the next day I won't have any of my work done and if we don't have school the next day we will have all day to be together if we just get our homework done." I tempted him.

"Dammit, fine." Luke stood up from the couch and we walked upstairs to my room with our book bags.

"Door open!" I heard my dad yell. Just because he yelled that, after Luke walked in, I shut the door.

"You are such a bad ass." Luke said sarcastically. I giggled and laid my math homework on the bed. I was a little smarter than Luke so we were on the same concept. Luke grabbed my textbook from my desk and laid next to me.

"You would do negative b over x then multiply that to the 2nd power to get the vertex, right?" I asked Luke.

"Correct. Why can't you just move up to my grade? You understand everything! That way I can stare at your beautiful face during class instead of staring out the window." Luke groaned.

"Because you need to focus in class and you would distract me too much." I answered. "I'm actually surprised you went through a whole homework assignment without grabbing my ass. I'm so proud." I rolled my eyes. Just then Luke rolled over top of me and gripped my bum.

"I think I should get an award." He pushed.

"Okay, your award is that I won't kick you out of my house and make you stand outside in the snow," I answered teasingly.

"Yay."

When Luke and I finished homework it was around 7:00. We went downstairs to see what everyone else was doing. "Are we called off school yet?" I whined and Luke joined me. My mother just looked at us and laughed.

"You two are pathetic," She announced. "Luke, you can at least stay for dinner and if you guys do get called off before we are done, you are welcome to stay longer."

"Thank you, I think I will take you up on that offer. I am starving." Luke replied. My mother began making dinner as I dragged Luke downstairs.

"Let's play air hockey before we eat." I suggested.

"I don't want to embarrass you or anything but, if you insist." Luke said cockily. Instead of answering him I rolled my eyes and walked to the table. We will let the talent speak for itself.

"Mia, Luke, dinner!" Mum called.

"Hold on!" We both shouted back. We were both tied at 19 points and the next one to score a point would win. Luke and I were hitting the puck back and forth as fast as we could. It didn't help that we were both obviously very competitive.
