Heading home Zeek decided to make a pit stop with everything going on he knew it was too much for his wife, she pretends to be ok, to be controlled and not bothered. Reality is he knew different he could tell by the way her voice changes, how her breathing differs, one thing he knew was his wife he made it his business to study her.  Even now he knew she had something on her mind but was in a battle with herself which he respected.

Pulling up to the beach, he felt Nae looking at him.  He remained quietly getting out he walked around to her side.  Without words he placed his hand out which she gladly accepted.

Not releasing her hand he lead her to the beach, bending down to remove her shoes, he did the same.  Lanae just watched him.  Zeek held her hand as the walked, and walked. Stoping a couple miles down it seemed.  He stood behind her and held her there.  Still no words exchanged.  It wasn't about speaking or saying what was already known it was about her feeling him and him her.  The words only the soul can translate.  He needed her to be secured and understand he was there for her no matter what. He needed her to know he understood she was scared, that this was a lot and for her to know they had each other through it all.

Lanae watched the water, safe in her husbands embrace, the warmth of his love was so gentle against her skin.  She felt every message his body and soul was giving off and knew he felt hers return it.  She couldn't help being deep in her thoughts.  Desire was not much different from her. A lost girl on a journey to find love that turns out to not be love.  She knew the betrayal she felt all to well.  When Desire got on the straight and narrow she couldn't see herself holding her child from her, though it would hurt to let her go as well.

But she is a mother first and she believes in second chances.  Leaving Mike was her second chance and look how blessed her life turned out.

Turning in her King arms, she admired him, his built, his features, the glow on his face, the love in his eyes.

"I'm one lucky women" she smiled at him
"Nah, ma, I'm the luckiest man to have found you"  tilting his head he kissed the beautiful soul God connected him too.

They walked back to the truck hand and hand and at peace this is life, this is love. It doesn't have to hurt first, it doesn't have to be painful. It's meant to be beautiful.

KING POV

I know Winter told me not to do business with Dre and them but me having to prove I can do things I think I got myself in a jam.  This shit fucking with me.  I know Winter not the Ezekiel sis brought out of him and if I tell him shit might get dark.  Now I'm not punk or nothing but some battles ain't worth fighting and the war that nigga is I don't want no smoke with.

A couple of our loyal soldiers done came back and said this clown been doing some dirt ball shit. Trying to take over territory that's been ours.  Even said he tried to meet up with our connect Slingy on the low.  Only good part about it Slingy not the type and don't play that shit so Dre was warned to never try his luck again.  Now all I gotta do is get to Slingy before he gets to Winter.

" Slingy my man" I spoke into the phone
"King, ya kno ye family to mi but mi not happy" I knew this already and I knew I couldn't fuck this up.
"Where you wanna meet" I sighed
"Mi warehouse now" with that he hung up. I only been in charge for some months and already caused a situation this ain't a good thing at all.

Arriving to the warehouse I made my way to security, as expected I was searched and disarmed.  Slingy sat at the bar.  Taking a sea beside him I waited for him to speak.

" I know mi boi Winter tol' ya bout boi" I shook my head not saying anything "I kno he trained ya well the greed ya chase will be ya grave". He didn't sound pissed or threatening he sounded like he was giving me brotherly advice the same advice I was given as a teen.  "Go talk to Winter and after come see mi 'gain no talk to Winter no talk to mi" with that he nodded and dismissed me.

Back in my car I couldn't figure out what I would say to Winter but I knew I couldn't fuck up with Slingy it was just a matter of how.

This nigga gonna kill me was all that played in my head as I headed home to gather my thoughts.
