Here comes the rain

Finally getting his wife and daughters to safety, Winter entered beast mode, he thought about every what ifs: what if he didn't leave the trap early, what if him and Nae was so caught in arguing he didn't answer, what they would've did to his daughters! Every thought infuriating him more fueling the monster in him and his thirst for blood was consuming Winter body. Winter had to feed it fast if he didn't his body reacted like an alcoholic that didn't get it's drink.

Allowing Winter to sit in his thoughts caught in his own really was King he never seen his brother so angry he was absolutely quiet now understand when Winter moves it was always in silence but King, Red, and Black usually heard the wrath first not this time. Only making King want the nigga Rik head more.

"What ya wanna do?" Looking at Winter, King needed to be doing something anything but this silence was killing him.
"Call the homies let that know it's a code red situation" Winter voice stood true to his name it came out cold like ice.

Getting on it King called everyone. Shit was about to shake and he couldn't wait.
Winter phone ringing brought him out his thoughts.
"Talk"
"Baby" Lanae voice came out soft, Winter heard the fear she tried to hide.
"What's wrong Nae"
"I just wanted to apologize, and let you know I was wrong but I love you so much and don't ever want to lose you" sniffling trying to stop the tears. Her losing the man who saved her heart made her petrified.
"You really think I would risk us?"
"I know you wouldn't"
"I love you ma, since the day I first met you yo, u changed me and accepted me and Bri with open arms even after you know what I'm not letting up off you, ya hear me?" Lanae couldn't help but laugh. "I'm not letting up off you either babe"
"Come crazy like that again tho and imma spank ya ass" music to Lanae ears she perked up "don't tempt me daddy" noticing they was pulling up to the meeting area Winter needed to be back in beast mode "I love you queen imma try to make it home tonight if not imma call but I gotta go"
"Show no weakness or mercy my king"
"None ma" with that he hung up he can't lie even tho it was weird hearing Nae say them words that shit was a major turn on! He rubbing off on her.

Stepping inside the meeting area, he looked around observing every face. Something was off he can feel it. Two of the young boys Trell brought on kept fidgeting but trying to keep tough faces on. "So today" Winter begin keeping his eyes on them "Rik attempted to make a move on me which could've put my family in danger" stopping to check everyone reaction must expressions turning pissed. "I also believe someone in this room is my snake" Quan the older one of the young boy, hands started shaking darting his eyes all over he couldn't keep focus. "Quan you know something" Winter deep voice boomed.

"Na..na...Nah boss ma..man" Quan stuttered badly. On cue Red and Black rose and stood behind him. King drawling his .45 dessert eagle. "I think you do, Quan, I think you do.... Keno how about you?" The younger one attempted to jump up but Black grabbed him quick "sit down or I bust ya ass" Black growled he gave no fucks. Keno sat back down he could no longer control his shaking. He been giving the drop on Winter for the money and Winter paid them very well but shit he wanted more he was trying to be on a come up.
"Y'all know what to do" was all Winter had to say, they dragged them down to the basement. More like a dungeon walls was painted black, one light one on in the center of the room, to the left was a table full of medieval time period torture devices, to the right all types of liquids, acids, chemical shit Bryan genius ass concocted.

As if Mother Nature knew the grimace things they was going to do, the clouds got dark and light rain begin to fall.

Lanae POV

I sat here on the window seal watching how the sky went from a peaceful blue to a dreary dark grey.
I sat and thought of everything that's taking place.
How I come to fall in love with Ezekiel and how I wouldn't be able to function if something happened to him. I need him safe. Twisting the ring on my finger I thought about his words Lanae I love you endlessly I am so happy you signed that dotted line with me, just in case I need you to know your my world my universe and I didn't believe in him before but it must be a God that sent me you, take this ring and wear it proudly...... I smile thinking how he didn't have to tell me twice lol I need him back home to us safe and sound.

Getting up to start dinner I went to check on the girls, they for some reason just laid in the king size bed not wanting to move watching cartoons.

"Are my ladies feelings ok?" My concern kicking in, I hope they not coming down with a cold.
Sani spoke. "We just miss our home" her faced dropped, and so did my heart we been in a hotel for a month to leave a hotel into another one.
"I know mommies babies be patient I'm trying to find us a new and better home" I smiled at them "snacks anyone?" They got very excited jumping up and down "yes, yes, yes" giggling.

Making my way to the kitchen, this penthouse layout was dope, living room was an open concept with ceiling to floor patio doors decorated in light blues and oranges, the master bedroom with a California king size bed decorated in black and gold, the other room the girl was in was silver and white with a king size bed, both having they own bathroom, a full kitchen, but no dining area.

I gave the girls they snacks, returning to the kitchen to get started. I guess I will make beef bbq ribs, white rice, fried cabbage and some rolls.

Damn near almost done dinner I realized hours have passed since I heard from my husband and I was getting worried. The rain had picked up and the thunder could be heard in the distance. Please God allow him to make it back home to me.
