Thanksgiving Day

WINTER POV

Getting up sitting on the side of the bed I took a moment to reflect on how my life changed in a year. Who knew I would married, two additional children that I love and adore and would die for and a baby boy on the way. Speaking of my young King I have to start planning our honeymoon. Finally stretching and heading to the bathroom to release my morning piss and handle my hygiene. Looking at my reflection it was definitely time for a shape up. Running my hands down my face I turned the faucet on. Grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste I raised my brush off applied toothpaste and rinsed it again. Finishing that up I headed to the shower.

The hot water cascading down my body was giving me life, putting my head under the water I felt my body relax completely something that was hard to learn at first, life in the game you had to always be on Ps and Qs cause you just never knew. Thinking back I honestly should've just let the operation go instead of giving it to King. But realistically he wouldn't have let that happen rather I gave my blessings or not. I'm not completely understanding where my conscience been coming from lately but I sure know that Lanae is the blame of me becoming in tuned with my emotions and I am not complaining. Feel good to be human again.

Washing up, I stepped out the shower grabbing my towel and putting it around my waist. Walking into the room, I admired my beautiful wife sitting on the bed. She was brushing her hair and was very frustrated with it might I add. Smiling to myself I paid attention to her expression how her eyebrows was pulled together, how hard she was biting her bottom lip, her beautiful belly that seems to keep getting bigger.

"Stop staring and help me" she now was looking at me and pouting. I could only laugh.
"You such a daddy big baby" I teased her.
"Ezekiel" Uh oh "baby my love my best friend and husband, if you don't come help me I am going to choke you" smiling at her I walked over and held her hair. "Like this?" All this damn hair she got and it was thick I needed both my hands and I got big hands. "Yes" handing me the hair tie I wrapped it around "babe, it's lose I need it tight" once again pouting; "baby I love you and I tried I don't know what I am doing" she laughed agreeing and said thank you. Getting up she was headed back out the room.

Smoothly grabbing her waist, I turned her around, looking down at her, my heart skipped a beat her face was so clear and her natural state was breathtaking. "Forgetting something?" Raiding my eyebrow. She smiled so wide reaching up she grabbed the back of my neck bringing me to her face and kissed me deeply, breaking the kiss. "Absolutely not" I held her as close as her belly would allow. "How long you been up?" I seen her think for a moment "maybe since 4" she put her head down, she looked back up and smiled "much had to be done"

I know my wife and knowing her I know something was wrong but I didn't wanna press the issue more so cause I trust her if it was serious she would tell me. I released her watching her leave out the room and decided to just throw on some sweats and a white tee I wasn't going no where today so I wasn't beat to get dressed.

I made my way downstairs to see my little ladies in the kitchen cake batter all over they faces and they was laughing and having fun. "This what y'all do?" I asked in my fake hurt voice "what daddy?" Nayah asked "what we do" Sani asked "what" came Bri little voice "y'all down here having fun without me I am hurt" I faked cried. They all jumped down rushing me saying no and they sorry. These moments are priceless. I picked them all up and carried them back to the table.

The food was smelling so good I couldn't wait to eat. Everyone was coming over and this would be the first time my wife met my mother. I wasn't really worried about it bout it I just hope that wasn't stressing it.

LANAE POV

My ass was still feeling terrible but I had to focus on getting everything done for my family. Taking a breather I watched how my husband interacted with our girls how he literally would do anything to keep them happy. I smiled. "Lanae you being a creep again" being broken out my daze I looked up seeing Winter and the girls staring at me. His smirk was extremely sexy to me, I guess I was zoned out again cause before I knew it he was in front of me and leaning to kiss me. "I love you momma" causing my heart to flutter I don't think he knows what he does to me. "I love you too daddy"

Returning to my task at hand, this sweet potato pie, I had to make the pecan pie next, and finish up the blue velvet cake, and caramel cheesecake. "Babe could you check on the turkey please and base it" I yelled over my shoulders "damn baby I'm right here, stop yelling, you gonna make me son have a big mouth" he shit talked as he walked to the oven and I couldn't but to just laugh I don't know where he come up with this shit but baby listen. "I need to see your high school diploma sir" I continued to laugh at him.

Hearing knocking I put the homemade cream cheese icing down and walked to the door. "Who" I yelled, "girl open this damn door, who else knows where the fuck y'all live" Red annoying ass yelled back, opening the door "you lucky my babies are with you, or I would've left ya ass out here" I rolled my eyes "hey boo thing" Drea first rubbed my stomach than gave me a hug "hi my baby" I truly appreciate her and no one understands just how much. "Stop yelling at my wife" Winter voice boomed behind us. Mocking Winter; Red repeated his words and called him a whinny bitch, Winter was mad as hell but we all just laughed. Red lived to get under Winter skin.

Making our way into the kitchen as the kids ran off to they play room, me and Drea caught up on everything. Discussed the kids, life with fully having our husbands home, "bitch I forgot how annoying his ass can be" rolling her eyes she let out a deep breath. "Girl you know the man you married" I laughed "did you tell him you want another baby?" being serious, I needed to know, she wants one so bad but won't tell her husband "no what if he say no"

"Say no to what?" Red and Winter walked back in the kitchen. I gave her the look, she tried to ignore me "Nae what y'all talking about?" He turned to me. "Do I look like ya wife boy?"
"Nah but you look like mine, what y'all asses up to?" Winter was walking towards me. Just than the door bell went off. Definitely has to be Black he the only one who uses that damn thing. Save by the bell literally!

Drea and I walked to the dinning room setting up the table. Placing plates and silverware down, the dinner rolls, stuffing, deviled eggs, the cornbread and things on the table we looked like ping pongs going in and out from the kitchen to the dining room. By my forth trip I felt so weak, and a little lightheaded. "Go sit down Nae you over working yourself" Winter pulled me into him. "We almost done, I can't leave Drea to do all the work"
"Girl you made me leave you to do all the cooking, I will be fine" miss nosy butted in.

I sat down. And took a breather. I need to tell him I'm not feeling myself but I just want to get through this dinner. With almost everyone being here we was only waiting on King and their mom arrival.
