Character 24 Encounter

-Airmeds view point-

I told Hawks that I wanted a cinnamon roll and a strawberry frappe. He came back with my order and he had a cappuccino and a chicken biscuit. His biscuit looked really good.

"Umm angel can I have a bite of your chicken." I heard him choke on his drink and looked at me like I just killed a man.

"Sorry?" He said. I looked at him and asked again.

"Can I have a bite of your chicken? If not that's okay I can go get me one! " I giggled. He blinked a couple of times before pushing his chicken biscuit to me.

I took a small bite and it look like he was sad, like he was fighting a war within him self, about giving me some of his chicken.

I made a small coo sound as I chewed the food and bounced. I always had a soft spot for food mostly sweets. Toga learned that she could bribe me with taiyaki.

(This is taiyaki is a fish shaped pastry that has fillings in it)

I opened my eyes and smiled at Hawks. "Thanks angel I needed some protein."

I saw him smirk. "Oh I'll give you some protein alright." He joked. I narrowed my eyes in confusion.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Oh nothing." He waved his hand as he took a bite out of his biscuit.

"Well I will go buy me a biscuit then." I teased getting up. When I was about to walk by him he grabbed my arm. I looked down at him, "what-" he was looking at someone. I slowly drifted my eyes and saw him, walking into the shop.

"An-" he tugged on me and I sat back in my seat. Hawks eyes glued on me while my was in terror.

"Baby bird look at me." My body started to shake, "Kid, stay with me." He kept whispering at me trying to get my attention but my eyes would not leave Michael.

My mind was shattered. I was terrified. Hawks grabbed my cheeks and tried to block my view. "Kid, come one now. Please." Still I  couldn't move. "Please don't tell burnt chicken." I felt lips on top of mine. I pulled back and saw Hawks.

"Oh God, im-" he grabbed my hand

"let's go before he notices us." I kept my head down and fallow Hawks out a side door and held on to his arm.

I was shaking violently, and he knew it. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close making sure no one saw my face until we got into alley way.

Finally we were out of view and I fell to the ground pulling my knees in and holding the close. He stood over me and watched to see if anyone was coming.

"Hey, kid. Please don't tell burnt chicken what I did." I looked up at him.

"Did what?" I asked. He turned and looked at me, and slowly smiled. To me I really didn't know what happened. My body froze, and I lost all control, so for me to tell Dabi what he did I wouldn't know what to tell him.

"Anyways baby bird, I think we are safe now." He held his arm out for me to take. "Let's us go train at my penthouse on my roof. There's alot of room up there and I use it as a perch so there's an area if we need to take a break or what ever. "

I nodded and reached for his hand. Pulling me up he pulled me into a hug and held me tight. "Just to let you know he will not have you. You're my... " He stopped and I pulled back enough to see his face.

He looked away from me, his face looked like he was in pain. "My dear friend." He said, finally looking back at me. I touched his cheek, and it looked like he was ready to start sobbing at any minute. I pulled him in and kissed his forehead.

"I love you, Angel. Maybe in another life you could meet me first." I wasn't sure how to put it with out killing the poor man.

But now I knew his feeling for me, and sadly I love Dabi more, I wouldn't do anything to hurt Dabi. Hawks tried to smile.

"I hope so, kid." I couldn't help but to feel, a little hurt I was sad that I hurt Hawks but there wasn't anything I could do.

"Well baby bird let's do this!" He smiled. His tone changed quickly and I was a bit confused but I took his hand.

"Right!"

-Hawk's view point-

I had Air in my arms when we reach my place, I placed her on the patio while I opened the door. I turned around and she was on her phone, and she had a sweet, loving smile on her face.

'I just wished I met you first.' I shook, my head. 'Well there's nothing I can do about it she's in love with Dabi. I just hope he doesn't hurt her. If he did I would never forgive him.' I turned away and started heading inside.

I felt arms around me. "Thank you angel for doing this for me." I smiled and placed my hand on her's.

"It's fine baby bird, sorry you didn't get your protein." I teased. I felt her face heat up through my shirt as she barried it into my back. I couldn't help but to start busting out laughing. I turned around in her arms and she was like a becon. I patted her on the head. "Look I'll order something later but let's head to the roof when you're ready." She slowly looked up at me and then gave me a serious look and then nodded.
