The three made their way towards the edge of a foggy cliff and sat in the same position as for the other two chakras "third is the fire chakra, located in the stomach" before the guru could continue Cara interrupted him "my fire chakra would like some hippopotamus-bear meat, instead of banana juice" the guru laughed but quickly dismissed the statement.

"this chakra deals with will power and is blocked by shame, what are you ashamed of?" he asked the two children.

Cara thought of many times when she was ashamed but one moment that stuck out was when she returned to the northern water tribe, many of the older people recognised her and shouted at her for leaving, the shame built up untill she couldn't take it anymore, she told Katara about how nasty the people were to her, the water bender just hugged her till she cried all of her emotions out.

"you must let go of the shame you carry" the guru said and Cara took a deep breath in letting the shame go and once again felt better.

The three then moved towards an old ruin and to unlock the fourth chakra "the fourth chakra is located in the heart, it deals with love and is blocked by grief, lay all your grief out in front of you"

Cara closed her eyes and imaged all of the most important person she lost when she went into the ocean and froze, her mother, she saw the image of her mother, it then turned into smoke and floated upwards "you have indeed felt a great loss but love is a form of energy and it swells all around us, the peoples love for both of you never left this world it is still inside of your heart, and is reborn in the form of new love"

An image of Toph appeared from the smoke of her mother, on the outside Cara's tears flowed from her eyes "let the pain flow away" both Aang and Cara opened their eyes and rubbed the tears away.

Meanwhile with Toph, she had being captured by two men who were being paid to get her back to her parents, the blind girl didn't like it one bit "my girlfriend is gonna kick your butts when she finds out what you've done to me!" she yelled at the two men "please, I'm sure I can handle a girl" one man said with a laugh in his voice, this made Toph more angry "let me out and I'll show you what a girl can do!" she shouted while banging on the metal, the two men laughing at the reaction of the blind girl.

Back with Cara and Aang, they had worked for hours on the rest of the chakras, many breakthroughs were made, many past mistakes forgiven, it then came to the last chakra, they had changed destinations once again and was not atop of a large pillar overlooking the stars in the sky.

Aang looked outward into the view of the valley, it was mainly foggy with mountain tops poking through, he then looked at Cara and finally the guru "this is the last chakra, isn't it?" the boy asked and the guru smiled.

"yes, once you both unlock it, you'll be able to go into and out of the Avatar state at will. And when your in the Avatar state, you will have complete control and awareness of your actions" the guru explained.

Cara smiled "does this mean after we're done, we can leave, because I've being missing my girl-" Cara stopped talking not knowing whether to continue or not, same gender relationships were not common in the 4 nations and the water bender didn't know the gurus views on it.

" I've missed my friend, so could we leave after unlocking this chi thing?" Cara asked and the guru nodded, when he didn't get a reply from her, he noticed his mistake "yes, after we have unlocked the chakra, you both may leave" Cara smiled and got into position to unlock the chakra.

"now, the thought chakra is located at the crown of the head. It deals with cosmic energy and is blocked by earthly attachments. You must meditate on what attaches you to this world" Aang and Cara closed their eyes, the monk thought about Katara while the water bender thought about Toph.

Seeing by the look on their faces, the guru knew they were thinking about the people they love "you must let all of those attachments go, let them flow down the River..... Forgotton"

At the last word both Aang and Cara's eyes shit open "what do you mean Forgotton, I'm not letting go of Toph!" she said her voice nearing anger "I can't let go of Katara, I.... I.. Love her" Aang said and the Guru looked solomly at the two.

"you must key them go or you cannot let the pure cosmic energy flow in from the universe" the guru said.

"why would we choose cosmic energy over the people we love?" Aang asked throwing his arms in the air " how could it be so bad that were attached to them?" Cara asked her voice as annoyed as Aangs.

"you must learn to let go" is all the guru said a sad expretion fell upon the two faces opposite him "I'm sorry, but we can not let go of them" Aang said and the guru looked towards the two children "to master the Avatar state, you must open all the chakras, surrender yourselves" the guru's logic overcame the twos emotions, they knew they needed an advantage over the extremely powerful fire Lord "Ok we'll try"

The two closed their eyes again and thought about their attachments " now think, of your attachments and let them go. Let the pure cosmic energy flow"

Two giant figures appeared over the two children, one was Aang and the other Cara, both in the Avatar state, they looked menicing, the two children walked towards them, Aang's arrow began glowing while Cara's eyes glowed an icy blue, the more they walked, the more powerful they felt.

"let me go!" they both heard, but in different voices, one katara's the other Toph. The two jumped out of their representations and ran towards the visions.

They jumped out of their meditating positions "Katara and Toph at win danger, we have to go!" Aang said as the two made their way towards Appa "no, by choosing attachment, you have locked the chakra! If you leave now, you won't be able to come go into the Avatar state at all" the guru warned them but they didn't listen.

They got on Appa and left heading towards their loved ones to save them.
