Mother

I kept questioning why now? This was so sudden. I don't think I would know what to do. I'd like to meet Worth's family but not anytime soon. Not while I'm still pregnant. Definitely, not today.

"What should I do?" I asked for Andromeda.

Worth obviously doesn't want me out. I wouldn't too but that will be disrespecting. Maybe I should take it slow? But why is Andromeda so tensed right now? May mangyayari ba?

I'm thinking so much again.

She was still listening to them. I calmed myself down and waited.

"Just introduce her, son. And we'll call it night. I'm so sorry but, this was the only time I can have for this. It was hard to travel up here in the world's situation, and this was the only thing time I could buy. I came here to inform with something as well, and you wouldn't like it..." Marshal spoke.

It was nice to hear his voice again. After months, I've been thinking on how he was handling things. He was great leader, he will be great a man in a higher position with a greater pledge for the responsiblity.

Natahimik ang lahat. I heard Worth's heavy sigh.

"Why was it every time I asked for time. I asked and you would give it to me and cut it back again. I would only have so little of it before you could brought up something on my face again. I asked for the time you could give me as a father, not as my commanding officer."

She glared at me with warning. Hinila niya ako pabalik.

My footsteps became heavy as I stepped back. My steps made the wooden floor creaked loudly.

I backed out again slowly but, that made the floor creaked even louder. Napaigtad pa ako roon.

Napapikit ako sa sarili. Andromeda and I waited for us to be called. I'm sure everyone else heard that noise.

"No. I will get her."

May mga hakbang na papalapit samin. Worth came to my sight. I can't look at him properly because of Andromeda's back blocking me. He walked straight to me. I stared at him. Noticing his dark eyes repose when it met mine.

Andromeda stared at us before leaving us. Nauna siyang lumalabas. I was left with Worth out of words. I don't know what to do. I'm both scared and nervous.

Based on his words... he wasn't fine with this. Any of them being here, and me meeting them.

"Worth," I whispered his name. Nakatayo lang siya sa harapan ko. He's waiting for my say on this. I know he's expecting I would say no but, he knows me enough to know that I won't.

He closed his eyes abd muttered a curse. He knows what I mean.

"This is going to be quick." He muttered silently.

This was for sleeping. "D-Do you think this is fine?" I nervously asked.

Worth eyed me from head to toe. He shook his head and pulled my arm closer to him. Our hands intertwined. His hold hardened, no plans of letting go until this ends.
