My Soldier

Some jumped from high hills, some crawl out from bushes, some from hid on the branches, others run with us towards the field of our house.

"If we survive through this, we will follow you anywhere, sergeant." ani ng isang senior officer na tumatakbo sa harapan namin.

Worth remained silent. He keep on pinching on my hand while we run as if he's getting strength from it.

The soldiers started shooting everywhere.

"Go! Surround the place! Make sure none of them will escape!" Worth screamed. He touched his earpiece. "Take the air." He commanded. I gasped at his deep command. His voice sounded stoic and intimate.

The plane looked different among the rest. It looks like a small jet covered with tats. It started shooting and chasing the other jets on the sky.

He signalled his hand on the other soldiers to keep moving. I noticed we were running towards his father's position.

"Listen to me." He hold both of my arms at stared at intently. He motioned my face to look at him. Pareho kaming hinahabol ang hininga.

"Do you see that rock over there, Bellemy?" He pointed across the field.

I saw a rock in the middle of the open field. It's not that big but it's not small either. Lahat ay iniiwasan iyon dahil sa kalakihan.

"I want you to stand above it."

I promised I will follow everything he wanted me to do while we're here.

"Look," He moved his hand on another direction.

He's now pointing at Secretary Walter who's surrounded by his men. They are not that far from the rock.

I also saw his father behind a tree near him. His shouting, commanding the soldiers and some of the terrorists there. All are exchanging shots and some engaged for close combat.
